ksbharaj14
Hi, Would anyone know if it is possible to extract/export match tracking and/or event data from FM? I am a part-time football data scientist who builds models for real-time football event data, and wanted to try these models out on FM data to get some insights on player an team performance. FYI- for those who aren't sure what football tracking/event data is, it is data for every action that players make on the field, such as the type of action, where it started, where it ended, when it happened, etc. Usually exported as JSON or CSV file format. Andrew Marines
There isn't much really. An year ago, i created a script for heatmaps but idk if that's what you need. Unfortunately there's no way to Ctrl+p the data analysis of a match. You could manually create a macro(image to text) the get all the data you want but still, you couldn't save the data you need directly from the field Edited October 12, 2023 by Andrew Marines
ksbharaj14
Thanks for your response Andrew. How did you create the script out of curiosity? Was if an image-to-text macro as you've stated?

Now it's posted somewhere on FMscout
