DavidBeckham
Season Review 2025/2026 We are going up say we are going up! Sky Bet League Two League Two is so tough! The higher we rise the tougher it gets but thankfully, we managed to go up again by finishing among the automatic promotion places! The standards of the teams are so close and we only managed to win less than half of our games (and drew a grand total of 16!). Thankfully, we got over the line and it's going to be a big ask next year as I feel we are meeting our threshold as we progress up the ladder! FA Cup We weren't too successful in the cup competitions as the boys were knocked out early in the second round of the FA Cup by League One outfit Bolton after two closely fought ties. We managed to get a windfall though! Carabao Cup It was the same story in the Carabao Cup as we went down to another League One outfit in a 1-2 away defeat Bristol Street Motors Trophy We completed the clean sweep of early cup exits as we were knocked out in the group stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy as we focused our efforts fully on league football. We go again next year! The Finances Our underperformance in the cup competitions meant our competition prize money dropped by a fair amount. However, I do not understand why our match day commercial and retail fell despite us turning professional and playing in the tier above. Anyone experienced something similar? How You Lined Up Our third consecutive promotion-winning eleven \o/ Player of the Season Our player of the season by a distance is our first choice pressing forward who came in on loan from Yeovil. Kenny Coker managed 26 goals and 2 assists in just 33 starts in a very productive campaign, and we will be no where near the promotion places without his goal contributions. Jansen will take his time to ponder if we should bring him back for League One \o/ League One here we come! It's not going to be easy but it definitely will be a fun ride.. DavidBeckham
New Spine Uriah Djedje came in on a free from Norwich to form the top of our spine. The Ivorian has no real weaknesses in his game and he will go straight into our starting 11 as our first-choice ball-playing center back behind.. ..Isaac Mabaya, who will hold our midfield together in the Regista role. Liverpool chose not to renew the Zimbabwean's contract and their loss is certainly our gain as we picked up a highly versatile midfield player with decent quality. He will attempt to supply bullets to.. ..Freddie Draper, who will lead the line after coming in on a free from Lincoln. Freddie is one of the strongest players in the league and is aggressive, brave and hardworking off the ball. With no better strikers available on the free and loan markets, we are hoping that he can score enough goals to help us finish as high up the League One Table as possible
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2026/2027 Not sure if this is a new thing on this version of the game but I absolutely love it \o/ Sky Bet League One The boys have done it again! We have strengthened better than last summer with a bigger budget and better reputation which helped us lure better quality players who were released by the Prem clubs. Jansen will definitely need to go a step further if we want to compete again in a very competitive Championship next campaign! FA Cup Our second string managed to progress to the Third Round of the FA Cup but the run came to a disappointing end against Southend United in an eventful 2-4 away defeat. Carabao Cup Our Carabao Cup campaign was short-lived after a penalty shootout defeat against fellow League One side Fleetwood Town. To be very honest, we weren't too bothered as we had to cope with three domestic cup competitions in addition to a very busy League One campaign. Bristol Street Motors Trophy We completed the trio of cup exits after a brutal group stage exit where our second and third-choice players failed to compete at a high enough level against our group rivals. This was perhaps the most disappointing cup exit as this is the last time we will be in this (provided we don't get relegated next year *touchwood*), and there are also no Championship teams in this. Notwithstanding, we are glad to move further up the football ladder and hopefully, we are on to bigger and better things! The Finances While there have been rumours of a takeover in the last two years, Jansen is focused on progressing the club financially as we continue to climb as high up as we can \o/ How You Lined Up The League One Champions! Player of the Season The boss and fans are aligned this time round as Damon Park bagged our Player of the Season award! If you remember, the Englishman joined us on a free while we started in the Vanarama National League and he has been in the 1st eleven since in our journey all the way to League One. While being our defensive anchor on the left of our central defence, he managed 5 goals at the other end in a very productive campaign. Unfortunately, his contract is up this summer and he is asking for way too much money to stay with us in the upcoming Championship campaign. Barring a miracle, we may have very well seen his last appearance in an Angels shirt Onwards and upwards the Angels go! DavidBeckham
Key Signings for Sky Bet Championship We needed upgrades in the full-back positions to cope with the higher quality wide players and Kallum Cesay offers exactly that. The Sierra Leonean has great recovery pace and will be crucial in our defensive transitions as we seek to adapt to the higher level of football. There is also an urgent need to strengthen our central defence and we brought in TJ Eyoma on a free from Lincoln to hopefully instil some much needed solidity against the stronger and quicker center forwards in the Championship. Jansen always prioritises strengthening the central defence and striking positions during the transfer windows and we were so thankful that Everton allowed us to have a player of George Morgan's quality for a season. The Englishman is one of the better finishers in this league and coupled with his unbelievable determination to succeed in football, we are hopeful that he can bag us the goals to push us up the league \o/
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2027/28 I think we may have reached the peak of our progression considering our budget and club reputation.. Sky Bet Championship With a weekly wage budget of just 60 thousand pounds and our inability to attract higher quality players on loan, we only managed a 9th place finish in our first season in the Championship. Looking at the brighter side, we felt we have achieved the maximum of our potential and Jansen will need to work his magic in the transfer market to push us further up the table at the second time of asking. FA Cup We progressed to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup after beating fellow Championship outfit Watford in the Third Round, but eventually fell to a strong Boro side in the Cup Replay in the subsequent round. Carabao Cup Our second stringers fell at the third hurdle of the Carabao Cup, losing narrowly to League One side Oxford United after we chose to rest the first-teamers for league football. The Finances It's interesting to know that sponsors favour the stronger teams in League One than mid-table ones in the Championship, and the competition prize money are lower here How You Lined Up They are not quite good enough to compete at the higher end of the table, but the boys are still heroes in my eyes :**) Player of the Season When a midfielder playing in the no. 8 position manages 12 goal contributions in 32 starts, he will be in a strong position to bag our Player of the Season award and that was exactly what Regan Booty did. Regan is a typical left-footed midfielder who is creative and hits the ball sweetly but we were so disappointed to find out that he wants to leave for a bigger club in the summer

DavidBeckham
Key Signings for our second go at Sky Bet Championship Jansen always prefers to play with a left-footed midfielder in the left-sided no. 8 position and quality ones are hard to come by. Thankfully, Harvey White was available on a free and we jumped at the chance to bring him in. The Englishman is so all-rounded with a sweet left foot and set-piece delivery, and he will be crucial in our attempt to climb the Sky Bet Championship table. Kallum Cesay requested for wages which were five times our average wages for a player and we had no choice but to move him on. Our scouting team managed to find a capable replacement in Joshua Williams, who is another all-rounded player with attributes well-suited for the right-back role. He has bagged our no. 2 jersey and will go straight into our starting 11! We have a new number 9! Everton refused to let us have George Morgan on loan for a second campaign and we had to dig deep in the market to bring in his replacement. William Osula is tailor-made for our pressing forward role and we have high hopes that he can replace his predecessor's goals in our second ever Championship campaign \o/
DavidBeckham
End of 2028 Update Sky Bet Championship We couldn't quite believe how well things went in 2028 and the boys did brilliantly to reach the peak and stay there at the end of the year. However, we are not getting complacent as we all know there will be a dip in form every season and we haven't had that yet. Hopefully we can at least stay in the top two positions come the end of the year Carabao Cup We were however knocked out at the first hurdle in the Carabao Cup after an away 0-1 defeat against fellow Championship outfit Leeds United. Jansen wasn't too bothered though as we were able to focus our resources fully on the league games and we haven't done too bad thus far Player of the Update Our new Box To Box Midfielder has maintained such a high level of performances since joining us in the summer. Playing in the number 8 position, Harvey White managed an impressive 9 goal contributions in just 16 starts on top of covering lots of ground in our pressing game. Long may it continue!

That’s surprising to me as Vertical Tiki-Taka has been the most consistent tactic for me in the last couple of years! Maybe you need to give the tactic some time to cook! DavidBeckham
Season Review 2028/2029 So near yet so far.. Sky Bet Championship We started hot and ended the season cold as we fell out of the automatic promotion places by goal difference. Jansen simply couldn't keep up with the relegated Premier League sides with the lowest budgets by a distance in the league, and Leeds basically sealed the title when they splashed 33.5 million pounds to add Adam Idah in January. Incredible timely injuries to our entire left flank right before the play-off semis didn't help things as we failed to reach the promised land. Notwithstanding, it has been a season of considerable progress and we go again next year! FA Cup We were so unlucky with the FA Cup draws and faced two Prem clubs at the first two hurdles. Our second string managed once-in-a-lifetime performances as we caused a big upset in the Third Round against Brighton. It was business as usual as we fell to a 1-2 home defeat against a decent Bournemouth outfit. Carabao Cup It's bloody Leeds again as they knocked us out right away as we entered the competition in the first round Goal of the Season Our best goal of the year was scored by our new right-back after a pacy run and a smashing finishing at the end of an opposition's goal kick \o/ The Finances We keep growing! DavidBeckham
3 Key Signings for our 3rd Try Mikael Bongili Cleevely (MBC) is an incredible find by our scouting team and it was a pleasant surprise that we were able to work out a loan deal with Southampton for the speedy winger. Jansen brought him in to provide more thrust and quality down our right flank. Will MBC turn out to be our Salah or Anthony? We shall see We focused our efforts on raising the quality of our wide players and Alan Virginius is a definite upgrade on our options down the left wing. The Frenchman has decent technique and pace, and fits our inverted winger position to a tee. However, he will need to get the better of.. ..Shola Shoretire, whose career hasn't quite turned out many has expected it to be. The Man United academy graduate has had opportunities at Wrexham, Fulham, Barnsley and Blackpool but didn't quite find a home to show his qualities. Everyone at the club has high hopes that this can be the move that finally propels his career into the limelight Edited January 21 by DavidBeckham

DavidBeckham
Season Review 2025/2026 The boys have done it!! :**) Sky Bet Championship We finished 2nd in our promotion-winning season behind Norwich who was relegated from the Prem last campaign, but is still far too good for this league. It is an amazing feat by the players as Norwich's wage budget is 13 times ours and we sit rock bottom in the league in terms of wage budget. We are going up say we are going up! FA Cup We played our third string in the FA Cup as the tie was right after the busiest period of our season. To no one's surprise, we were knocked out convincingly at the first hurdle. Not that we care though! Carabao Cup We went a bit further in the Carabao Cup as our second string finally fell to a Premier League opposition in a narrow 0-1 home defeat. The Finances I really don't understand how finances work sometimes. How can there be red arrows everywhere when this is by far our best performing season? Surely green arrows await us next campaign? How You Lined Up The best 11 Jansen ever had \o/ Player of the Year 12 goals and 3 assists from the no. 8 position in just 30 starts. Need I say more? Harvey White is without a shadow of a doubt our player of the season!! DavidBeckham
Signings for Survival We did not have a keeper who is good enough for the Prem and thankfully, a player of Coniah Boyce-Clarke's quality was available on a free. The Englishman is competent aerially in the box and has decent shot-stopping ability. In our maiden campaign in English's top flight, we will definitely need a big season from the big goalie if we want to maintain our Premier League status. Unfortunately, the center-backs who helped us to promotion last campaign lacked Premier League quality. We had to splash the cash on Jarell Quansah, who was the best right-sided central defender who was willing to join us in our desperate attempt for Prem survival. The Liverpool academy graduate is fantastic in the air and he will be vital in both boxes at set-pieces for us. He will be partnered by.. ..Luizão, who doesn't look impressive in any area of his game but our scouts strongly recommended him for his consistency and knack for shining in big games. Like Luizao, Billal Brahimi has no game-changing attribute but Jansen signed him based on our scout's assessment that he can put in 6-7s in most games. The Algerian will go straight into our staring 11 as our budget Salah/Saka. Last but not certainly least.. We have signed Bellingham! It's Jobe Bellingham though as there is absolutely no way his brother will be willing to trade Santiago Bernabéu for the Tonbridge Stadium. The younger brother is too good for the Championship and we are hoping that he can make the step up to do a job for us in the Premier League

DavidBeckham
Where we belong? The lads have been absolutely brilliant in their maiden season in Europe's richest league \o/ Despite having to deal with the lowest wage budget by a mile, Jansen managed to assemble a squad with 30 million pounds and loads of loan signings to compete competently at the highest level. The Angels are flying in 7th and we are loving life in the limelight! Player of Mid-Season Our best performer by a distance is Lukáš Ambros, who cost us just 56k pounds from Czech First Division's Bohemians 1905. Despite having no world-beating skill, his all-rounded game and consistency has yielded us 7 goals and 5 assists from midfield, and we would be nowhere near where we are without the Czech magician. Long may it continue!
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2030/2031 We are going on an European tour! Premier League The squad put together by Jansen competed so well in the number one league in the world, and the lads showed that they belong at this level by grabbing 7th place in our maiden campaign ahead of the blue billion pound bottlejobs FA Cup The boys also managed to reach the fifth round of the world's oldest cup competition, where we were knocked out by Champions League outfit Newcastle on penalties after a goal-less draw. There's nothing shameful about that, especially when we played our second string throughout the competition. We go again.. with our second string Carabao Cup We didn't do too well in the Carbao Cup though as we suffered a second round home defeat against Reading after losing the penalty shootout. We are definitely bad at penalties!! Goal of the Season This wasn't the official goal of the season but we all know it was rigged The Finances Things must be going really well financially and you will see why by the end of this update How You Lined Up The Premier League quality players Edited February 26 by DavidBeckham

DavidBeckham
Summer 2031 This summer was definitely more fun than the last, as we realised young prospects were willing to consider us as an option, notwithstanding the fact that they were only treating us as a stepping stone. Fares Blaise was with us on loan last campaign and managed to impress the backroom staff so much that we spent 6.25 million pounds to make the deal permanent. His knack to run at the defence and decent ability to put the ball in the back of the net will go a long way to help us navigate a very busy season with Europa League football. The Frenchman with the best hair will compete with.. ..Waynedel Frank for game time upfront, whom we still can't believe Everton was willing to let him go on a free. The Englishman has a very similar profile to Fares and it was a no brainer to snap him up on a free. The media even dubbed him the new Michael Owen and Jansen will be doing everything to convince him against pursuing a career in media afte this retirement The best prospect we managed to bring in this summer is a 18-year-old from Championship outfit Blackburn, and Kean Irving could be an absolutely bargain at just 12.5 million pounds. The left winger is arguably one of the best on ball and off ball 18-year-old in world football and if he can steer clear of injuries, we could have a real gem on our hands Arguably our biggest signing this summer is an all-rounded left-footed attacker who can play at a high level both down the right and upfront. Omari Kellyman has great pace, strikes the ball so cleanly and is very composed in front of goal. We have high hopes he can score the goals to propel us up the table this campaign \o/
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2031/2032 Campione, campione olé olé ole.. campione, campione olé olé ole! English Premier League Progress is key and we managed exactly that, finishing 2 places higher than our last year's position among the European places. It was a challenge navigating both the Premier and Europa Leagues with a squad who is only playing at the top tier for the 2nd time, especially during the business end, but it was well worth it as we secured Champions League football for the 1st time \o/ Les grandes équipes.. the championsssss! FA Cup We were knocked out at the first time of asking but it was no surprise as Jansen chose to play with his third-choice eleven in the return leg against Premier League Champions Man United. We chose to rest our 1st and 2nd choice players for the Prem and Europe, and it was a decision which paid off eventually Carabao Cup It was always going to be a tall task facing the cash rich blue boys from London without our first eleven as we fell to a Fourth Round 0-2 defeat. Europa League The boys have done it!! We bagged the Europa League during the club's 1st foray into Europe, and it was such a satisfying run. We also won it the best way possible, scoring right at the end of extra-time to beat RB Leipzig to the trophy. It's by far Jansen biggest achievement of his tenure but I heard that he's not satisfied and can't wait to go on to bigger and better things The Finances Let's keep getting richer! How You Lined Up The Europa League Winners :**) Player of the Year Omari Kellyman started with sporadic game time down our right but ended the campaign as our 1st-choice number 9 as he led the line so well for us. He's not your regular goal scorer but presses so well upfront and sets the tempo for the team. He also brings his team-mates into play very capably and managed to bag 10 assists in addition to his solid 14 goals. The all-rounded frontman is Jansen's Player of the Year! \o/

DavidBeckham
Key Signings for Champions League Our scouting team is getting a pay raise for spotting a player of Hugo Arce's quality during the second half of last season, and Jansen snapped him up after the January transfer window ended with little competition. The Argentinian is one of the best right-back of his generation and we are keeping our fingers-crossed that we can have his services for the rest of his career. All of that for just 7 million pounds! Two is better than one as our scouting team found another gem who was available on a loan deal during the summer. Johnny Bedini is an Englishman who graduated from Juventus' academy and found himself plying his trade in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig. He got home-sick and we swooped him in a loan deal with little hesitation. He bags the number 8 shirt immediately and will play on the right side of our midfield 3 in the Box To Box Midfielder role \o/ Playing on the opposite side of the field is another Argentinian who was brought in from Man City this summer. Federico Corbisiero is a versatile left-footed player who has the potential to bring fans into the stadium with his flair, agility and balance on the ball. He will play in the left-sided no. 8 position in the Mezzala role!
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2032/2033 It has been another campaign of ups and downs but we keep progressing! Premier League While we finished one position lower than last season's 5th place finish, we have 4 more points and there is a sign of progress. Notwithstanding, the quality of our squad is still a level below the Champions League-quality teams and the recruitment team will strive to strengthen the playing staff further in the upcoming summer. Champions League The boys did well to progress to the Play Off Round, where we were knocked out by a solitary goal against a stronger and richer Chelsea outfit. While we did not manage to secure Champions League football next year, we have gained valuable experience in our maiden campaign which will do us well when we play at Europe's elite level again \o/ FA Cup Jansen was so close to lifting his first ever FA Cup but the lads fell short in the final, losing to Premier League winners Man United after a 119th-minute own goal. That was really painful Carabao Cup We couldn't be any unluckier with the Carabao Cup draw as we fell to an inevitable 1-2 defeat against the unnecessarily rich Man City. The Finances We keep growing! But why did our broadcast revenue and match day commercial and retail drop despite us playing in the Champions League for the first time ever? How You Lined Up The boys who are no longer Champions League virgins
DavidBeckham
Summer 2033 Having monitored John Proud's work ethic and level of performances on loan last campaign, Jansen decided to splash 16.75 million pounds to make the deal permanent this summer. The Scottish has fantastic quality on the ball and knows exactly when to move the ball or when to take a shot during attacking transitions. He will compete with Johnny Bedini for the right-sided no. 8 position, who was also brought in on a permanent deal after last season's successful loan spell. Having spent a total of 38.75 million pounds on two Box To Box midfielders, we have little left in the bank and the recruitment team had to be flexible in the market. Our most obvious shortcoming last campaign was putting the ball in the back of the net and we had to find some way to add goals to the squad. Inter was willing to allow a player of Christian Abanda's quality to get valuable Premier League game time on a loan deal and we took a total of 0.00000281231 seconds to finalise the deal. The Cameroonian's finishing, speed and movement up top will hopefully solve some of our goal-scoring problems this campaign \o/
DavidBeckham
January 2034 Mattia Mosconi was our 1st January signing but it was a forced move as our first-choice right winger tore his hamstring right at the start of the year. The Italian is great running with the ball and has decent movement and finishing to add some badly-needed goals to the squad. If we want to progress up the table, he will have to settle quickly into life at Tonbridge. We lost a player on the opposite flank too due to his release clause and Trevan Sanusi was brought in on loan to plug the gap temporarily while we source for a permanent replacement. Having graduated from Birmingham's academy, the Englishman is no stranger to the Premier League and has the ability to beat most full-backs down our left flank. Jansen is most excited about his ability on the ball though and we are hoping that he can provide the assists for our goal-scorers in the second half of our campaign \o/
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2033/2034 It has been an eventful year to say the least \o/ Premier League The aim has always been to bring Champions League football back to Tonbridge this campaign and the boys did exactly that, finishing fourth on 68 points and managing that slight progress again this season. Fifth place would have guaranteed Champions League football too due to the coefficients and we did so well to achieve a nine points gap from 6th-placed Fulham. Les grandes équipes.. the championNNSSS! Europa League Europa League was our alternate pathway to bring back Champions League football and the lads went ahead to win it anyway! We are becoming a bit like Sevilla, the team that is not good enough to challenge for the domestic league but bags a number of Europa Leagues Jansen is hoping we don't get to play in this competition again anytime soon though! FA Cup Jansen was also absolutely elated to lift his first ever FA Cup after last season's final defeat, and the kind cup draws certainly helped along the way. Our second string defenders were also excellent during the cup run, conceding just one goal in the semis against Charlton at Wembley. If they can't score, they can't beat you! Carabao Cup We couldn't have had a longer season than this with us nearly going all the way in all the cup competitions. Chelsea stopped us in the semis from a treble of cup finals in an 1-3 aggregate defeat. We go again next season! The Finances We are hoping the broadcast revenue and competition prize money can increase with the return of Champions League football \o/ How You Lined Up The double-winning heroes :**) Player of the Season Fares Blaise got most of the game time in the cup competitions and managed 18 goal contributions in just 23 starts. Without his goals and assists, we would be nowhere near our two cup victories and with his award-winning hairstyle alone, he is by far our player of the season! \o/
DavidBeckham
Summer 2034 Most of our budget was spent on Pau Cubarsí as we needed to replace 31-year-old Quansah who is in the last year of his contract, and there weren't many options in this summer's market. The Barcelona academy graduate will have no problem adapting to Jansen's brand of Tonbridge football, and he will provide valuable back-up to our first-choice center-backs in the upcoming campaign. Our final noteworthy signing of the window could be the biggest bargain during our time in Tonbridge thus far. We couldn't believe Arsenal was willing to let a player of Marco González's quality to join us on a season's long loan, and the Chilean really has no real weakness in his game. He will inject some much needed pace and energy in our midfield in our second season back in Champions League \o/

DavidBeckham
Season Review 2034/2035 It has been another year of progress \o/ Premier League Jansen managed to secure our second consecutive season of Champions League football and it was no mean feat as this has not been done in the club's history til now. Mathematically, we continue to grow as a team after we bagged 4 points more than what we managed last campaign. We will continue to strive for another season of improvement next year! Champions League We did decently in the group stages to qualify for the round of 16 directly but were undone by an injury crisis during the two legs against AC Milan. Jansen wanted to bring back Champions League football next season and decided to focus his resources in the league. As a result, we fell to an inevitable aggregate defeat against the Italian giants. We go again next year! FA Cup We were unable to defend our FA Cup due to the injury crisis too as Jansen decided to field a weakened side away against Arsenal. There were no surprises as we fell to a 1-2 defeat. Jansen was really unlucky with the cup draws too, facing two of the biggest sides in England in the first three rounds Carabao Cup On a brighter note, the boys managed to lift our first ever Carabao Cup! We progressed past the likes of Arsenal and Man City (yes, them again!) on our way to a 1-0 final victory against the Hammers. It is important to making winning a habit and we are delighted to finish the campaign winning one of the four major competitions The Finances While we have progressed on the pitch, Jansen is puzzled to see reds everywhere in our financial situation. With the exception of competition prize money, how can we lose money in every area of our revenue? Unbelievable! How You Lined Up The Carabao Cup Winners! \o/ Player of the Season Federico Corbisiero was playing as left wing-back at his previous clubs but Jansen saw something in his game which is suited to the Mezzala role in our system. That was exactly where the Argentinian excelled in as his wand of a left foot yielded 22 goal contributions in just 35 starts. We will be doing our all to keep him at the club as Inter Milan took notice of his incredible year and has active interest in our player of the season! One thing is for certain, Jansen will be blocking all calls from Italians in the summer
DavidBeckham
Summer 2035 We picked César Galván up before end of last campaign and it was a great find by our scouting department again. The Argentinian is such an all-rounded forward who has the potential to create and score goals at this level. It was a match made in heaven as scoring goals was our main weakness last season. He will push Omari Kellyman hard for no. 9 spot in the upcoming year! Our starting left-back (Filippo Missori) turned 31 and Jansen decided to replace him before his game starts to decline. Mohamed Amine Bendaoud was the most ideal choice out of what were available on the market and we are hoping that his physicality, work rate and ability to make the right decisions in the defensive third can help to fill the no. 3 spot competently. The midfield holding role was another spot which needed replacing as our first-choice last season was another 31-year-old (Eyüp Aydın). Héctor Giménez has great qualities in both attacking and defensive transitions and he will go straight into our starting 11 as our Regista in the no. 4 spot. After the injury horror story of Marco González last campaign (he made just 2 starts for us before suffering that season-ending injury), we needed to plug his gap in the no. 8 spot and Jansen decided to make use of the loan market again to bring in Jó, who is another fantastic left-footed central midfield player. His ability on the ball and off-the-ball movement will hopefully push us further up the table in the upcoming year \o/
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2035/2036 It has been another season of progress.. Premier League We managed to achieve our highest ever finish in the Prem and very nearly sustained a title challenge. Painfully, we suffered an injury crisis during the business end of the season as we lost our first-choice right-back, center-back and left winger just to name a few. The boys eventually hanged on to second place in an incredible tight top 1/3 of the table. We keep going! Champions League Have you ever felt like it just isn't your year in certain competitions? This was certainly the case in our Champions League campaign, as we narrowly missed out on an automatic round of 16 spot after we went a man down in the last group stage fixture. In the play-offs against Inter, we went down to 10 very early again in the second leg as we suffered a 0-2 aggregate defeat. It wasn't our year in Europe FA Cup We were just very unlucky in most competitions this year as we were knocked out narrowly against a strong Arsenal outfit in the FA Cup quarters. Jansen is hoping that our luck can balance out next campaign! Carabao Cup We fielded a mixture of second and third stringers in the opening fixture and suffered another narrow cup exit in the penalty shootout against Blackburn. Lady Luck, please shine on us next year! The Finances Why do the TV stations not want to broadcast our games? How You Lined Up The unlucky and nearly men, but also the men who helped us secure our fourth season of Champions League football in five! \o/ Player of the Year Our player of the year is the one who led our line for the majority of the campaign. His goal record as our no. 9 is also solid, with more than a goal per ninety and Omari Kellyman is Jansen's player of the year! On a sour note, the Englishman is entering the last year of his contract and I don't think we gonna extend the contract of a striker who's slightly declining as he turns 31 at the start of next campaign Nevertheless, this has been a fitting way to end his stay at the Tonbridge Stadium!
DavidBeckham
Summer 2036 Jimmy Cullen is Jansen's choice to replace our player of the year last season, who was let go unwillingly due to his age and him entering the last year of his contract. The Australian is one of the most all-rounded forward for his age in world football and with him available for just 25.5 million pounds, our recruitment team wasted little time to snap him up. He needs to start showing improvement in his game though! Bellingham (not that one) was our second choice holding midfielder last campaign but he too has reached the wrong side of his thirties. We made the decision to replace him with Jaílson Vergara, who is so decent and physical on the ball, all these for just 18 million pounds \o/ We went for potential to add depth to our defence, and Daniel has room to grow into a decent 2nd-choice right-back for us. Jansen admires his fearlessness the most and the Spaniard will get lots of game time for us in the cup competitions. The no. 7 position was our clear weakness in attacking transitions and our scouting team spotted a great prospect in Daniel Silva, who was another of those promising prospects from the Sporting CP academy. We're gonna show faith in him and the wonderkid will go straight into our starting 11 as our first-choice right winger \o/
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2036/2037 It seems like we have met another threshold during this campaign! Premier League We managed to secure another season of Champions League football, but the boys still couldn't quite sustain a title challenge. I don't think our squad is good enough to challenge the table toppers at the moment and our reputation also can't quite attract players of the right quality to raise the standards of our squad. Jansen can only continue to develop the young players we have at the club and look to pick out diamonds in the transfer market in the upcoming campaign! Champions League Jansen decided to field his second stringers in Europe in an attempt to sustain our Premier League title challenge with our first-teamers. Unfortunately, like our first-teamers, the second stringers came up short in the Champions League as we were knocked out in the first knockout stages. FA Cup Our second stringers also fell at the first hurdle in the FA Cup, losing 2-3 against Norwich City in a disappointing early cup exit. Carabao Cup Jansen's decision to field our third string backfired as we failed to go far in the Carbao Cup, losing unluckily on pens against lower-league side Stockport County. There really have been few highs on the pitch this year The Finances Off the pitch, it was no surprise to see us fall backwards financially after a stale year of football How You Lined Up Nevertheless, the boys certainly gave their all! We go again next year!
DavidBeckham
Summer 2037 Our summer businesses commenced with a great find in Japan, and Akio Nakagawa arrives on a 4.4 million pounds deal to replace 31-year-old Caleb Ansen, who is finding hard to get up and down the floor when keeping out shots. The Japanese giant will provide back-up for our number one in the upcoming campaign \o/ Goals continue to be our major shortcoming and Jeison Mendoza was our latest gamble to make things work. The Englishman is easily the quickest player in our squad and his composure in front of goal and agility on the ball can be a bargain for just 14 million pounds! One of our longest serving players, 31-year-old Jayden Meghoma, was let go emotionally having spent his last 9 seasons at the club. We needed a left-back to plug the hole but there weren't feasible permanent options on the market. The recruitment team decided to go for the loan signing of Okan Bulut, an experienced defender with decent physicality and no real weakness in his game. The Turkish full-back will push hard for the no. 3 position in the upcoming season!
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2037/2038 We've had an eerily identical year this campaign.. Premier League We are still the side who is good enough to challenge for Champions League football, but not quite at the level to challenge for the title. Thankfully, I think we have secured Champions League football in fifth place due to the English coefficients. As we have reached the threshold and are unable to attract players of the right quality to help us make the next step, the recruitment team has been focusing on bringing in youths for further development to hopefully grow into the players we need. Jansen will stick to the process patiently and maximise our results on the pitch! Champions League The second string did well to progress into the play-offs but were unlucky with draw as we were knocked out narrowly by fellow league side Man City. FA Cup Jansen decided to play the youths/third string against Championship outfit Wigan and the decision backfired as we were knocked out in the replay due to low morale arising from non-Champions League registration. The players underperformed Carabao Cup Our second and third string players nearly went all the way but came unstuck against a strong Spurs outfit right at the last hurdle before the final! The Finances We have had ups and downs in terms of finances in a topsy-turvy year! How You Lined Up Bring the boys out!

DavidBeckham
Summer 2038 The only major summer signing we made was in central defence, where a gap was left behind by 31-year-old Pau Cubarsí who entered the last year of his contract. Jansen decided to spend the bulk of his transfer war chest on Diego Vargas, who was on our shortlist for 2-3 years but the timing was never right. We are hopeful that this is the ideal time to bring the Colombian in and he will get the opportunity to be the leader of our backline in the upcoming season! DavidBeckham
January 2039 We have had a second consecutive uneventful transfer window as we made a forced addition via the loan market. Our first-choice right-back (Hugo Arce) broke his foot and was ruled out for most of the second half of our campaign and there was a desperate need to plug the gap. Thankfully, A. Madrid allowed a player of Ovidijus Gvildys' quality to leave on a loan deal and we snapped him up on deadline day. The speedy Scottish can play in most roles down the right flank and he will go straight into our starting 11 to hopefully keep our level of performances up!
DavidBeckham
Season Review 2038/2039 We have finally done it \o/ Premier League The boys finally reached the pinnacle of English football! Jansen led the squad to the title win on 85 points, 4 ahead of nearest rivals Man United and defending champions Arsenal sit third on 77. The league win was down to the combination of the following factors: 1. Growth of our young players, and a good example is.. ..Jimmy, who has grown into one of the league's finest striker following 3 seasons at the club after joining from Bournemouth.. ..as a 20-year-old. 2. Tweaking of tactics to be more conservative against the Champions League challengers 3. To be more positive on the the touchline, praising the team without fail when we are in the lead and demanding more when we are drawing or trailing Champions League We were so unlucky with the draws in all cup competitions as our second string fell short to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the round of 16 FA Cup Arsenal proved to be our nemesis in the domestic cup competitions, knocking our reserves out in the fourth round of the FA Cup in a narrow 0-1 defeat. Carabao Cup They did the same in the Carabao Cup, but this time it was on their home ground The Finances We finally see some greens in our finances, but how did our broadcast revenue dip when we managed to climb all the way to the top of the table? How You Lined Up The English Premier League Champions :**) The Angels are finally where we belong \o/
