marcMCFC1986
I had it a few years back where Sheikh Mansour finally got bored of Man City and sold them, and the local businessman who bought them couldn't keep things ticking over - we made huge losses, failed FFP and had points deductions/kicked out of Europe. Just wondering if anybody has ever had - or, if it is even possible to have - more severe punishments, such as relegation to the bottom tier (like Rangers did), or is a points deduction is as bad as it gets? White Flag
Rangers were relegated for effectively going into liquidation and reforming as a new entity, not for FFP reasons. In the English Premiership I believe the largest penalty available for breaching FFP is a 12 points deduction and a financial penalty. I'm not sure about other leagues / countries.
