Update following 4 sackings

Hi

Just a quick update on progress after 4 sackings on FM22

I took a break and accepted a job with Southport who were near the bottom of National Lge North.

First results were a mix but I was immediately dogged with not creating a positive atomosphere just like my previous jobs.

I finally settled on 4-2-3-1 and have been tinkering that since.

I got a lot of 0-0 draws with the odd 1-0 win but then went on a losing streak with injuries dismissals etc.

Inevitably came the messages of sacked if you lose this one against a team in top 6.

With 20 mins left my main striker got injured, we went a goal down and I had to use a young loanee winger making his debut as a makeshift striker. I had resigned to calling it a day when he scored late on to snatch a draw.

Since then things got better and now at the start of 25/6 season with the aim of a mid table finish we are 6th having won 5 and lost 1.

However, we do seem to concede early on.

Thanks for the advice and encouragement previously.

My dilemma now is that I've got a striker on trial who is better than the 30 odd year old I'm currently relying on and I'm reluctant to sign him in case it spoils the dressing room morale.
