ToMexico!!
February 2025 We're weaker than last season as we've not been able to replace the quality we lost on free transfers at the end of last season. But that said, we've played 10 league games and dropped points in just one game. We're not scoring the goals like we did in the past two seasons but we're not conceding as many. Just three points clear of 2nd place. Edited November 9, 2023 by ToMexico!!
ToMexico!!
March 2025 Another busy month with seven games played. We've played 16 league games by this point and scored 52 goals last season after 16 games we'd scored 73 goals. We're definitely missing the quality in the final third. However, we're still top by 13 points.
ToMexico!!
April 2025 We started the month on a sour note, bowing out of the cup on penalties to lower league opposition, ultimately the price you pay for rotating the squad sometimes. We went pretty well for the remainder of the month, scoring at least four goals in the next five league games before a poor 1-1 draw against Deportivo Unidad. We've played two more games than Unidad now but still unbeaten in 22 league games.

ToMexico!!
May 2025 Another solid month with four wins from four. We had like three weeks between the last game of April to the first game of May, so we were a little rusty. Two games remaining but for some reason, just one game in each of June and July. ToMexico!!
July 2025 The final two games played and two more wins. An unbeaten season for the first time. We now have 25 days until the first game of the Champions Play-Off.
ToMexico!!
August 2025 An elite talent, a goalkeeper which reflects the intake preview. Simon Kone could get a spot on the bench from next season onwards.
ToMexico!!
2025 Season Review A 25-day gap from the end of the Region Insular season to the Champions Play-Off We dominated Deportivo Niefang but struggled to score more than once. We were 2-0 down to Unidad before we rallied in the second half scoring four times. We dominated against Mongomo but without Nchama, who was away with Eq. Guinea B, we struggled up front. We looked set for a point when Nsi scored an equaliser in injury time but Mongomo broke away and scored in the 5th minute of injury time. A routine 4-0 win over Akonangui all but secured the title but it needed confirming a matter of days later at home to Sony, with 33-year-old Nsi scoring twice. A second successive Champions Play-Off win which sees us leapfrog both Athletico Malabo and Deportivo Mongomo in the table for most league titles. We had a shocker in the Equatoguinean Cup this season beating UD Santa Maria before losing penalties to Akamayong. We dominated and battered ASCOT from Chad in the preliminary round of the Confederations Cup. We face USM Alger in the 1st Round. A difficult fixture against the Algerian side. We nearly FM'd them in the first leg; we scored with three of our four shots on target with just 0.59 xG compared to Alger's 12 SOT and 3.42 xG. It wasn't to be in the 2nd leg, maybe the sending off or disallowed goal from us costing us. Top Scorer - Jose Angel Efa Nchama (34) - He keeps on scoring the goals, 34 this season against an xG of 22. Most Assists - Rafael Nsogo (18) - he swapped between CM and RW to achieve these assists, he also scored 18 goals. Average Rating - Kokou Alibo (7.78) - one of few quality players we have. 26 goals and 16 assists from the left wing. Unfortunately announced he would consider his options at the end of his contract. U21 POTS - Manuel Kouoh - had to step up at right wing, he rewarded us with 12 goals and 14 assists. We're struggling to keep the finances in the black, with no cup run/ win this season we end this season in the red.

ToMexico!!
February 2026 Four new players are into the squad. Moha is that Moha, the one who spent some time at Barcelona. Hugo Buyla joins after being released by Atalanta, so he has some pedigree at least. Samban is a Ghanaian left back and Kamara is a right winger from Sierra Leone. ToMexico!!
February 2026 A great start to season five with five wins from five games. Moha scored twice on debut and added a 3rd against Atletico but then got injured for 2 months. Nchama finally came to the party against Cano Sport with a hat-trick. We are the only unbeaten team left whilst Cano Sport are yet to get a win.
ToMexico!!
March 2026 Another unbeaten month as we stroll to seven wins from seven games including an Equatoguinean Cup win against Junior Inter. 13 points clear of 2nd place already and we've played two games less than the teams directly below us. Just one other team, Sony, has a positive goal difference at this stage of the season. Two more players join. Jose Cuyami was released by Deportivo Unidad despite scoring 48 goals in 70 appearances. Esono was released by Cano Sport and adds further depth at centre back.
ToMexico!!
April 2026 Another seven-game month and one with colour other than green. We opened the month with a disappointing draw against Cano Sport, their goal coming in the 88th minute. We then needed extra time in the cup to beat Saeta Blanca, a heavily rotated side couldn't do the business so first teamer Nchama came on to get the winner. Better performances against Deportivo Ebenezer and Athletico Semu were overshadowed by the defeat to Deportivo Unidad and then draw with Real XBP having been 3-0 up against them. We ended the month with another poor performance but we dug out the win over Sony. 14 points clear of Unidad in 2nd place.
ToMexico!!
May 2026 We're struggling defensively, just one clean sheet this month in seven games is pretty bad. To concede four in a 4-4 draw to Cano and at the end of the month to concede five and lose to Atletico Semu is appalling. Despite that, we're now 17 points clear of Unidad but they have a game in hand to close the gap a little.
ToMexico!!
Unfortunately, things are just not clicking in this save for me, maybe it's a little too easy domestically, it's not quite working with FM24 as it's ported over from FM23. I've not played this save for a couple of days and have been toying with a few other ideas.

Hopefully you will rekindle your passion for FM with your Luxembourger save. I really enjoy your dual club and nation saves when you managed to convince players to represent the country you were managing.

I hope that you'll be re-starting this, but not ported in FM24 to make sure that it's working again. Also, I recommend you to manage a Japanese (J3 or JFL side) or Filipino (my home country) team make your way to the top, which I have seen a few Japanese saves being out since J.League is now licensable for the longest time. You can think about it first if you want to give it a go in Japan or the Philippines.
