[FM24] - Polish lower leagues (down to 4th level) (compatibile with 24.4 update)

Recommended Posts

As usual, yearly file to start your save as low as in 4th level in Poland.

Tested for 10 years in the game, all is okay.

What has changed?

  • Added II Liga (playable with recreated promotion playoffs and squad reward system)
  • Added III Liga (playable with squad reward system)
  • Added IV Liga (non-playable, used for promotion/relegation from III Liga)

Few pointers

  • U21 Squad rewards are the same in all divisions (in real life, they are different in 4th level, but it's not possible to edit the squad rules so I'm leaving this as it is).
  • II liga playoffs are set just as I liga playoffs (yes, 3–4 days break between last match of regular season and 1st semi-final playoff is normal)
  • As usual, promotions and relegations between 3 Liga and IV Liga are not 100% due to regionalization. Teams should be in the nearest available division if there's not enough spaces in the right division (teams from north (II Group) won't be in south division (IV group)). No artificial league increase is required for this level, if I'd do lower levels, maybe I would try to restrict this even more, right now default settings set by us researchers are fine.
  • There's a planned reform in 4th level (all 2nd placed teams play in playoff for 5th promotion spot), but since it's not officially confirmed, I've decided to not create this.

Installation instruction

1) Download the File.

2) Drag the file into your "Editor Data" folder, located at \Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\editor data. If this folder doesn't exist, create it.

3) Open Football Manager 2024 and start a new career, In the top right of the screen, under "Database", make sure this Data File is selected.

4) Click "Advanced Setup" in the bottom right.

5) Once the database has loaded, click "Add/Remove League", then tick "Poland". The Polish lower leagues will then be playable.

Gunna try this out when I get home, been itching for a Polish save for a while. Thanks for your work on the file Bigpole :applause:

thanks, small error was found by a user (nothing major, team draw in promotion playoff wasnt fixed but random), so quick fix was made and new file is uploaded in 1st post. Of course bloody steam workshop replaced my file so I had to replace a steam link as well.

Hi,

I've been using your DBs for quite a bit now and they are amazing. Currently in my 31st season in a Youth Only in Poland

My question is a bit of a longshot, I am not sure whether it is related to the custom DB or something within the game in general.
Since I am playing a Youth Only I want to try to put more emphasis on second teams being in playable league.
So I just got promoted to Ekstraklasa, and I am trying to force the reserves team to be promoted to Third Division Group 1 ( I play as Stomil Olsztyn which is my second team of the save)

I have followed this thread to be fair, the last comment actually shows how you can try to force the team to be promoted.

I know that it is mainly reputation based so I've set the reputation of my second team to max.

I have replayed the last couple of weeks about 20 times. From before the last game of the season, to after season reset. and 0 second teams have been promoted to any of Third Divisions. Every time there is a mix of different teams that get promoted what suggests that promotion choice is happening correctly.

When I checked the difference between the 2nd teams that already are in playable leagues and other second teams using FMRTE I found that all playable 2nd teams appear as a separate club in the DB but are somehow linked to main team. I think this could be the fact that they are in these playable leagues.

Anything that you could suggest or advise?

Yes, most of the II teams are set as separate teams, it was to 'limit' the power of reserves, and the side effect might be reserves not promoting to higher leagues. We create separate II teams when reserves are in IV Liga at least, and the rest of the teams have set just 'create reserve team' option. It's annoying, I know, because I have my club in ekstraklasa and I have to either schedule friendlies each month manually or loan players. So if the reserve team is not promoting in all your simulations, it's not going to happen in the future.

Thanks for explanation :) I will not waste any more time on this then and just carry on with my save.
It is a shame a little bit , I feel like the second team friendlies are not going to benefit players as much as playing in the actual league.

Will this limit be something that you will be considering lifting up in future so that when a second team is created by board during the save, it will have an option to join the league lower leagues? Or is this something that is not possible ?

If there's an option in the editor to enable this - surely. Because I haven't' checked this year's editor thoroughly, so maybe it already is. One thing for sure, I will be trying to replicate III liga playoff rounds and hope that the new edition of the game won't be problematic in terms of editing.
