S24 - Season review  

Ekstraklasa 

Almost a perfect season. We won the league really early as in beginning of April. Rakow was behind us for quite a long time but they end up finishing 5th with 2-5th place split by only 2 points.

Motor gets relegated after 3 seasons in Ekstraklasa

Arka gets relegated after 2 seasons in Ekstraklasa

Wisla Krakow gets relegated after a single season in Ektraklasa.

 Amazing run that no one expected from us ! Still can't really believe that we managed to pull this through to the end.

S25 - Season Preview 

 

N.B,

" I have been thinking about this for quite a while, My contract runs out at the end of this season. It is likely that this will be my last season at Notec Czarnkow, I feel like I have built something great here, built a new stadium, massively increased fanbase, developed some really decent players over the years who play in national team. The culmination point was last seasons Champions League win, which was really unexpected however, regardless of the result I think my decision would have been the same. I will not be holding to so many players this time. I know that new manager will not have so many restrictions so I will try to provide him with loads of money to build the team next season as well as a lot of great youth players, therefore there will be transfer activity throughout. As for me, I will move on and find another project in this realm as certainly I will find something interesting to manage "

So here goes start of Season 25 and Notec Czarnkow

We yet again are predicted to finish first with quite a difference over 2nd Lech. 
This season we are joined by 
KGHM Zaglebie and Stal Mielec who come straight back up after 1 season in 2nd tier

Wisla Plock which spent 3 years in 2nd tier. 

 

Wow, we have become 3rd force in the league in terms of Season tickets bypassing Lech !! 

 

We will have 4th biggest Stadium after the works complete.

A single transfer for now, but Ostrowski was one of our best players. £47.5M up front plus a sell on % . Mainly he was blocking other strikers so decided to move him on.

Again, Really good start to the season with 7 wins out of 7 and 2 super cups won. The league is much closer though as last season we already had 7 point gap on the top.

So I was expecting to make much more moves, however we moved on mainly some fringe players that would never make it and were already about 20 yo. 
The only valid one is Filipek(18c) who did become cover player last season and we managed to get nice £12M for him. 
Otherwise there weren't much interest in our players, what was surprising as I thought we would get flooded with offers after winning CL. 
Maybe in winter we will be able to move on more players.

Tough month where we have been decimated by injuries, however we are still without a loss and 2 draws against Lech and Rakow are really good, since they were top teams last season. Widzew are struggling this season after finishing 3rd last year

Good run continues, we are 11 points clear above 2nd what is great. We are already using up the capacity of the new stadium as we had 30k fans in the last 2 games.

Massive rotation against Lechia resulted in 1-1 draw. wo do bounce back against Gornik Leczna. We go into winter break top of the league 9 points ahead of Lech.

Shock result against Barcelona sends us up to 4th in the table. I think that qualification is pretty much done here. 

 

Polish FA Cup 

Played first team here and we smashed Jagiellonia to advance to Quarter Finals where we will play against Lechia.

We continue our form in the league in chase for unbeaten season. we are currently 11 points clear from 2nd place. There was quite a lot of rotation this month but the second team pulled through.

We managed to keep up the pace with Feyenoord in first leg only losing by 1 goal, but in second leg we absolutely destroyed them lol. I don't know how we scored 9 in that game... Liverpool next it will be tough.

Really happy with the win against Rakow and Lech, despite Rakow being 10th currently, they really are a strong team. Lech result is great in terms of championship as we lead by 16 points.

Our form at home is phenomenal, we put 4 past Wolfsburg to qualify to the Semis and there we have put 6 !!! past Bayern, this is absolute shocker. We have not conceded whilst playing at home in the whole KO rounds.

 What a season it was !! we didn't manage to get invincible season this year . as we lost to Pogon in the run-in. But I am still really happy with the ultimate domination this season. 

Lech finishes 2nd again followed by Jagiellonia and surprisignly Zaglebie Sosnowiec. 

A shocker at the bottom of the table where Widzew gets relegated after 26 seasons in top flight !! 
Other 2 teams that get relegated are KGHM and Wisla Plock just after 1 season

As mentioned before, if someone told me that we are going to win 2 Champions Leagues in a row I would have laughed. But it happened and it was an amazing run with some good results.

Stomil Olsztyn S.A., historically known and played under the names OKS 1945 Olsztyn and OKS Stomil Olsztyn, is a Polish football club based in Olsztyn. It was founded on 15 July 1945 as OKS Warmiak. They compete in group I of the Third Dicision, following relegation from the Send Division in 23-24 season. 
 

The best era of the club was in mid 90s when they have been playing in Polish top tier until relegated in 2001-2002 season. The club achieved best result in 95-96 season when they finished 6th in Ekstraklasa. After relegation from Ekstraklasa the club quickly went downhill ending up in 4th Tier of Polish football. They've climbed back to 2nd tier in 11-12 season and spent there 10 seasons achieving 4th place best finish. 

The club itself lives in an area which is not dominated by football, Closest biggest teams are Jagiellonia Bialystok and Lechia Gdansk. 

 

Olsztyn is the capital of Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship a north-eastern part of Poland and is by some known as one of the happiest cities in the country, It has 20th population by size in whole Poland standing at approx. 170,000. It is located within Masurian Lake District which contains more then 2000 lakes.

Stomil Olsztyn plays on the council owned OSIR Stadium with the capacity of 16,800, a very old stadium which was built in 1970 and holds only 4,500 seated capacity.

Football Manager Reality. 

For the past 25 seasons Stomil was on the verge between Second Division(3rd tier) and Thrid Division(4th tier). 

 

I have chosen this club because I think due to location, where there isn't any big team around we will be able to build a good team whilst scooping decent youth prospects. I am hoping to find some gems here. 
Also a decent size stadium albeit owned by council will allow us to play in Ekstraklasa (if we ever get there) without building a new one and potentially going into further debt. 
Since the lack of big teams in this location and a decent size town I feel like it deserves to have a great club with local players.

Finances are not looking good, being 300k in red AND 700k debt AND overspending on the wage budget is not perfect.

A good start in terms of facilities. but much more to improve here.

We are contenders for promotion this season. I don't think that we have the depth to get promoted. 

 

We have sold the most tickets in the league what is encouraging.

We have played 7 games this month and managed to win all of them conceding just 3 goals. I must say we are doing really well, but we need to keep this up in order to fight for promotion. Only one team gets promoted what can be tough.

Not so great, here. Pogon are playing in the league above us, and managed to outscore us. Board was not happy at all !

I didn't want to sell anyone but it was forced upon me. When I declined a move for Kurzawa, whole team complained. 
Wozniaks transfer was accpeted behind my back by the board they didn't even put a sellon fee.

Another great unbeaten month. We are scoring for fun it seems. Winter break is coming up and we have 12 point lead above 2nd place ! promotion looks very achievable.

Hey mate ! 
He is a really good player ! Probably the best in our team if he is in form imho. Good dribbler with a decent shot outside of the box. 
I would say he has a bit of controversial personality on the pitch though, But in the right mindset he is great. 
I am bit sad to see him go as we don't have anyone that can fill his boots at the moment. 
I wouldn't look at stats for last half of the season though as whole team has been abysmal.

Thanks mate! As for Hezze his start here wasn't great but after the first Knock out round of Conference league (like everyone in Olympiakos) he became a real beast in the midfield. Excellent endurance (he was everywhere in the field), good passing and like every latino he played with huge passion.  As long he is here I don't believe he have a real chance for Men's team (he took a call for the Olympic team if I remember correct) but if he moves in a bigger club it could change his status.

We carried our run until the last game of March to lose against our rivals Olimpia Elblag. Really good run until it lasted. with 10 games left we are 12 points clear at the top! Promotion is well within reach !

We picked up straight away after a loss in end of March and we are 1 game away from clinching the title. I could not re-sign any running out contracts, so hopefully I will be able to do so shortly.

Finances are on a really slow decline, but we will get about 75K at the end of the season for playing youth, so that should put us in better position for next season.

S27 - Season Preview

 

The bookies have us to get relegated this season. there are 4 second teams in the league and all of them are right at the top to get promoted.

We did not have any sales in particular. Just players who decided that they did not want to renew their contracts, unfortunately for us. S27 - July & August 2049

Second Division

We started off really bad with getting destroyed by Legia 2, at that point I thought, we are going to have whole season of thrashing. But since then we didn't lose a game and managed 2 wins. With 7 games we managed 10 points are are safely holding up mid table place.  Home attendances have been great though. That is 25% of our stadium already and getting around 4.5k in 3rd tier is really decent. I feel like Stomil has got massive supporter potential. 

We are the only team to be Semi Pro in the league at the moment. The board rejected my request to go Pro, and then suggested it themselves. and its been 2 months like this now. 

 

Finances 

We are holding up with positive bank balance still with over 300k debt. some of it will be paid off in next 3 years what is really good.
