I can't be happier this month. We did really well against mid table teams and managed to even win against Siarka! This month turns everything around for us as we move up to massive 3rd place, with 2 points behind top BUT top 7 teams are split only by 5 points with 8 games left. So we are in the mix. 

 

Finances

Youth Setup is bankrupting us. We really need to get promoted to try and start managing this in the right trajectory again. I think it could have been a mistake on my part re-investing the money.

S30 - April 2053 

Second Division

After perfect last month, Znicz Pruszkow quickly shown us our place at the table. We did however manage to bounce back later on and manage to keep our promotion battle alive. It didn't help that out starting FB got a 9month injury as a result of broken leg. 
4 games left and we are 4 points behind top however only 1 point behind automatic promotion. 
We are also 5 points within playoffs places. 
We don't have the easiest remaining schedule, looks like Korona game will be crucial to us. 

 

Finances 
They are starting to be scarily in red now. I think we are going to get about 200K from Squad Rewards but other then that I am not sure. I hope that the board will not go on selling spree again.

Second Division 

Such a turnaround this season comparing to what happened last one, Our young players from last season have grown into promotion candidates. Not just getting promoted but also almost winning the league! 
Such a great season for us. Onwards and upwards now to First Division!

So we are changing standing places to make them seated. It will reduce the capacity but I wonder by how much. At the moment we have 16,800 Capacity with 4,185 seated, With the new additions it  will be 10,335 seated places, but I am wondering if there will be an standing left.

S31 - Season Preview

This is the first time for the club to play in First Division since 21/22 season, It's been long 31 seasons for the club. Lets hope we manage to remain up there. The bookies however don't berate us so badly comparing to other teams 

 

We have sold 400 more season tickets what is around 30% increase comparing to previous years. 

 

Only seated places count in this league, meaning we are down to 4185 seats ! We should have more spaces after stadium works complete in November. 

 

 

Finances 

Yeah, this is not great, We will have to see how it pans out with more ticket sales and some TV Money.

First Division

After a difficult start we found our footing and managed to win couple of games. We are very close to relegation places but we keep battling. We were outscored in most games but they were even matches. Being decimated by injuries doesn't help as well.

We have thrashed Second Division Pogon Siedlce and will play against GKS Wikielec whot are also in Second Division

Finances are still declining heavily. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the 850K that we paid for the stadium,, guess where the money came from.. a LOAN

First Division

1 point out of 9 available this month. Although we are losing the games we are not playing badly. We are still creating chances but we are not converting. I think its only the matter of time when the young players get their footing right and score more. Also defense is our problem, but we have had lots of injuries and suspensions so there was quite a lot of rotation at the back.

We squeeze through to second round for the first time at Stomil, Whoever we play next, this game is definitely winnable.

First Division

Amazing month in the league. Warta Poznan result came really out of nowhere, we had few players come back from injuries though. This month will give us a breather in the league as we move 6 points above relegation places. 

 

Polish FA Cup

We need extra time to beat Lech II as we move to third round, the furthest we have got in this competition under my tenure. 

 

Stadium

The improvements are completed now. We have gained 6150 seats bringing the total to 10.650. However that means that in general our capacity have been decreased by around 6000.

We are £500K in red now, this is really not good.

I think we are not doing too bad. 7 points out of 12 available and we are 10 points above relegation zones now. I feel like we need about 10-12 more points and we should be safe for the season.

First Division

We rotated quite a bit against Bruk-Bet as that game was 3 days after cup game. We were close to pull that through  We are going into winter break now at mid-table. with 11 points above relegation places and 6 points below playoffs.

We played our strongest team against Gornik Leczna and got a really good result. We are into QF which is very likely to be our last round in this years cup run.

An unbeaten month this month and shockingly we are in playoff places. Luckily we haven't lost any players in transfer window what helps us to continue as we are.

The result here was expected. We got about 80K from receipts though.

First Division

After two losses agains Gornik Leczna and Radunia, I decided to change the approach a little. Ass Man was suggesting we should keep playing happy football and be more positive, But I've done the opposite and the results agains Slask and LKS Lodz were astonishing. We are still within reach of playoffs as we stopped looking down and started looking up. Stal MIelec seems to be running away with it having a whooping 14 points gap above 2nd with 8 games left to play.

Our form has been absolutely amazing. We have beat our promotion rivals in the likes of Ruch and Warta. Currently sitting 3rd but the league is really really close. 2nd and 9th are only split by 4 points !  I really like our chances as we play teams from bottom half except game against Stal Mielec who already won the legaue,

PROMOTED TO EKSTRAKLASA !!! 
This was crazy right to the end ! After the first game against Tychy, we have managed to get to 2nd place for automatic promotion to then lose against Stal Rzeszow and give it up to LKS Lodz, Stunning result agains Stal who already won the league, and 94th minute winner against Pogon II got us throgh as LKS lost the last game against Stal Rzeszow.

This will happen much sooner then expected but they will be absolutely smashing us as things stand. 

 

Notec Czarnkow, They still have few players hanging around from my tenure but the team has got much less Polish accents then it used to  

 

 

 

 

 

 

League wise they have been pretty dominant and they seem to have found their footing financially as well as they spent all the money I left them and are now building it back up.

S31 - Season review  

This was an amazing season, although it didn't look like it at the beginning where we were struggling with injuries, but as soon as players recovered we started firing. We score 90 goals what is 26! more then the next team, however we also concede over 60  which is one of the worst results in the league. We have also equalized the best cup run that happened at Stomil by going to QFs.

S32 - Season Preview

I think we are up for a really difficult season Where survival will be huge success. We have been promoted to the top flight after over half a century. 52 years to be exact. Except us, Stal Mielec has been promoted, who became a yo-yo club and Miedz who gets promoted to top flight for the first time in last 10 years. 

 

Season ticket situation is not looking too bad. We have doubled our sales comparing to last season. I think that there is quite a bit of fan base potential here. 

 

We will have to build or buy a stadium at some point. but I am waiting till we get some more money. Its a shame that we had to pay to change councils stadium to all seated before. 

 

Where TF Notec get 125M in sponsorship !!!? The board did not change at Notec. 
Also Jagiellonia... 42M. They did have a Tycoon takeover though few seasons back. 

 

 

The salary comparasent between first and last is absolute joke haha 

 

 

All-Time Table. 

Since we got promoted, I think its worth re-introducing all time table. I was keeping tabs on it through previous seasons. 

So Notec have made big strides in past seasons being very dominant throughout and moved up to 13th place. 
We as Stomil start off at 33rd and any movement up is very unlikely in the next few seasons.

Tough start, we win 1 out of 7. We are close by but not yet good enough to win. We are aiming for 38 points to be secure but it will be so difficult. On the other half of the table, Notec is running away with it. I fear that we will be destroyed by them when we play them,

Happy with the positive bank balance. I think we are going to be getting TV Money over time what should help us keep it positive.

Although only 3 games this month, we have much much better results. 7 points out of 9 and temporarily we move out of relegation zone. We are also maxing out on home attendance almost every game, what is something that I didn't expect to see.

We manage to hammer Cracovia, and narrowly lose to Lechia. 
Zaglebie Sosnowiec game was played by full rotation as this game was in between the cup games and I thought we had more chance of advancing then winning against Zaglebie. 

Our next game is against Notec.. I wonder..

Notec deservedly beats us even when we played extremely defensive. Really good form in other games puts us 10 points clear out of relegation what is absolutely amazing. At halfway point we need only 16 points to 38 point target to stay up !

After 2 really good months, this month is one to forget. Rakow and Jagiellonia are really good teams though and their current position doesn't reflect their potential. We are going into the winter break and we are in decent place before the spring games.

Slask deservedly wins and we are out of the cup.

After the first 2 games I thought that we might be really struggling however confident win against Legia, and FMing Lech in last minute is absolutely amazing. We are currently 11th with 11 games left to play and we are sitting 13 points clear out of relegation! 
Legia however is having a nightmare season and is on the brink of relegation. This could be the first polish giant that gets relegated this save.

Finances are in red at the moment, I am not too worried as we will be getting a paycheck at the end of the season.

Really good month, We managed to beat Slask at home and later on push through a win against Stal Mielec in extra time winner!  With 8 games left we have 3 points left to our 38 point target which seems to be enough to be safe for the season. I think I will bleed the youths a lot earlier then expected.

We are safe for this season!!! amazing performance against Lechia and a draw against Cracovia have guaranteed safety. On the other hand, looks like Notec will clinch another title in the next game (against us). On the other hand, Legia is close to getting relegated for the first time this save and for the first time in their history !!

S32 - Season review  

Ekstraklasa 

 This was a great performance in our first season in top flight. We survived and managed to pull lots of great results. 
Notec again clinches the title but surprisingly Zaglebie Sosnowiec came out 2nd beating Tycoon Jagiellonia. Lech and Slask top off the qualifiers for Europe. 

On the other side Stal Mielec and Miedz go straight back down after a single season in the league followed by LEGIA! Who get relegated first time in their whole history.

European Rankings 2055

I didn't update this for a while now. But nothing has changed much over the years. We are still in 8th in reputation and just now we moved to 9th in coefficients table.

Other Polish teams - 2055

I haven't done this for a while so I thought it will be good time to check what is going on in other leagues and what teams have been overachieving.

 

Ekstraklasa

 

The biggest shocker here of course is Legia who is getting relegated after this season. 

They have very decent facilities but are financially insecure

 

Another standout for me is Kotwica Kolobrzeg they have started the save in second Division (3rd Tier) and spent most time in that league. They had a spell in 4th tier league but quickly came back up. They have just completed their 3rd season in Ekstraklasa and managed to finish 7th. 

They have very decent facilities and I can see that they have been investing in that area recently. 

 

They also seem to very stable financially having very decent budgets. This looks like a well run club at the moment. 

 

Polish First Division

There aren't that many standouts for me here. 
Most teams have been up and down either between Ekstraklasa and First Division or First Division and Second Division. 

Maybe a shoutout to Siarka Tarnobrzeg Who started the save in Second Division to then get releaged to 3rd Division(4th Tier) for about 12 years  to then be going between first and second divisions. 

 

Second Division.

 

 

A standout here is Piast Gliwice who not long ago were playing in Ekstraklasa. They have been in between Ekstraklasa and First Division for about 50 years before getting relegated to Second Division in 52/53. They are now coming back up.

We are by far the team to get relegated however half of the league have got very similar odds of winning the title. Seems like they must be very evenly matched.

Well, We are not doing great at the moment in the league. Maybe I was wrong in throwing too many players from recent intake lol. 

 

Transfers

Nothing really happening on transfer market, we don't even get many offers. 
We did release Piotr Tupaj however who has been fundamental part of the team in Second Division. I wanted to re-sign his contract but he had other ideas. 

 

Finances

Finances are pretty decent currently. Looks like we have potential to sell more tickets as we are selling out at the moment but no money.

We manage to turn things around this month and win 3 in the row ! We move away from the relegation zone, but what has happened to Notec Czarnkow? !! They are trailing 7 points behind the leaders !

Shockingly we beat Zaglebie Sosnowiec and then deservedly lose against Slask and Notec. We bonce back with at confident win against Wisla Plock. 14 games in and we have 17 points 7 points above relegation.

Good win against Gwardia but we only squeeze through 2nd Tier GKS Tychy. Stal Rzeszow is next who is also in 2nd Tier.

1 win out of 3 this month. We should have been winning the game against Kotwica as they are there and thereabouts with us in the table. Anyway a good month and we are exactly at halfway point of the season in the league and we are sitting on 20 points. The target is still 38 points to secure survival. 
On the other hand, Notec is having a nightmare season already lost 4 games in the league.
