Can your reputation change from a single match?

Never thought about it and was just curious.  Came up against a club 4 divisions above me in the FA Cup, so obviously expected to get smashed, but actually played well and barely lost.  If that happened in real life I'm sure the manager and club would get a big boost in reputation, even if it might just be short term.  Is that a thing in FM?

I think so, yes. There are important matches so someone might have coded a boost in rep if you fare well there. I think if you go well to a series of matches you get better opinion from the fans and the board, that much is certain.  Nobody knows for sure I'd guess except the staff, so if someone want to officially give an answer to this, be my guest!
