IT is Newcastle with all the Saudi Money! They are one of the big boys. It would be nice to beat them but probably a longshot for your club even with all the premier League money.

I still hope you pull it out in penalties!

Yeah we lost on penalties in the end but I am happy we even got to the final. Hopefully it will spur us on to win a trophy next season.

Cheers for your kind words.

Barnet FC Season 7 Review

download.png.b59ed03f00f9309c298dd3cad6b13d33.png

We did what we needed to do with a 10th place finish which is what I wanted at the start of the season. Anything else was a bonus and I nearly won the League Cup as well.

Still gutted about losing to Newcastle. They are my new bitter rivals :D

image.thumb.png.ec27ea90188ba791aa5114f723d2f72f.png

We had a tie when it comes to the seasons top goalscorer with Israel Carvajal & Maurizio Doria getting 15 goals each.

They are our striking double act and hopefully will get more next season.

image.thumb.png.b60b3fef7c958052c14f9a39f0f3ff7d.png

image.thumb.png.95a24e6981da123ff4dee29f92468aa1.png

We also had a tie for players with the most assists as Elanga and Grealish both got 11 assists each.

image.thumb.png.2ff7fbfc9f6a97e3813312dd10386953.png

image.thumb.png.6239fcf58aae7b06aef9c88f186aa0a1.png

Carvajal got our best average rating of 7.22 so he will probably be our Player Of The Season.

Samakae had a great season for us with him being solid at the back, scoring 5 goals, 3 of them was penalties.

He also continues to do well in training and getting better as a player.

image.thumb.png.17468407068b4711c1963245e3afdf4a.png

I am so glad he has a 4 year contract with a £78m minimum fee release clause included.

image.thumb.png.013ba7d70ec3b7aa014d0ff8e708a65d.png

My aim for next season is to try get to a Cup final again and this time win. I also want to get a top 8 finish and maybe sneak into Europeon places if possible but that might be a season too soon for that.

As long as I get another top 10 finish I will be happy.

Thanks to everyone who has been reading and also thanks to the people who comment as it does make me feel like people are enjoying my progress.

We are going to be renting Stamford Bridge for next season.

image.thumb.png.85a513a564a0c1b3beb9dae02467d18b.png

A stadium that can hold over 40,000 people. But why do you say we are renting Stamford Bridge?

image.thumb.png.c7a261f97c8ef9cd583849bd5f0915cc.png

Because we are expanding The Hive Stadium by 2,688 seats.

We will have a 8,000 plus capacity stadium by the end of next stadium.

I wish the board would build a new stadium. Hopefully in time they will.

We just had 41,837 fans come see us lose 4-3 to Liverpool. Our last record attendance was 11,026 when Barnet played Wycombe in 1952.

image.thumb.png.91b68d555ba1f99c2c41fe13d277cf5f.png

image.thumb.png.144644383c89bf0f6dd479ef0fe469ae.png

If we get 40,000 to every home game we play we could be looking at making £30m plus from tickets sold. This will make a massive difference to our finances.

Can someone go burn The Hive Stadium for me please

Barnet FC Summer Transfer Window Part 1

download.png.d3f468d329b2576a2669a9c9c46e605b.png

I decided to change my transfer policy a bit and sign some more experienced players so this summer as well as getting a few bargains and wonderkids.

Scott McTominay - £10.75m from West Brom

image.thumb.png.bc5308912c456ae736dfb4b93d446731.png

I had to sign Super Scott McTominay and he has been a similar success to Jack Grealish last season. He has always perfomed well so far this season with a 6.99 average rating, 5 goals and 5 assists.

He has bounced around a few prem teams since leaving Man Utd with him playing for Southampton, Norwich and West Brom before he joins us. I am hoping he will retire at the club and become a coach or my Assistant Manager.

Gabby Dunkley - £8m from Birmingham City

image.thumb.png.01ecd19d3b02fd7c77cca2dffdcb6a80.png

Dunkley is one of the future with great Dribbling, Agility and Pace. I sent him back on loan to Birmingham but recalled him in January after he was impressive for Birmingham with him getting 7 goals and 3 assists for them while on loan.

Pablo Cardaccio - £2.5m from Defensor Sporting

image.thumb.png.e7e03e174b5c8518be16031f392fe617.png

South America is such a great place to find bargain players. Signed for £2.5m he has been outstanding with him playing literally every game so far and being a rock in defence. He has Excellent Heading, Marking, Decisions, Determination and Balance. This player is destined for greatness.

Abdulrahman Al-Khalaf - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.bb0f137176c9611fb10bf16215f07215.png

My scouts reccommended I sign Al-Khalaf and he is highly rated. I sent him on loan to Swansea and he has done well so far this season for them with 6 goals from 17 games.

With 16 in Finishing he knows how to score a goal or two.

Ibrahim Al-Dossary - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.234ab7287245db8a2c1300c80c2a377f.png

Al-Dossary was reccomended by the same scout at the same time he reccomended Al-Khalaf. I sent him on loan to Reading for the season but sadly the loan hasn't gone well with him only playing 1 game for them despite me asking them to play him more.

Ollie Watkins - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.cc885463e4504aca9db1b1f93dee3ba6.png

One of the experienced players I was telling you about. He has a Profressional personality which I hope rubs off on the younger players. He has made a good contribution to the team as well with 5 goals for the season and always puts a shift in despite him being 35 years old.

James Maddison - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.e0a6fe7161f3bd16e1686f6ad38c672d.png

I am very lucky to have signed Maddison on a free. I luckily managed to convince him to come play for us. He has done ok so far with 2 goals and 1 assis in 17 games.

I just can't believe I have a team at Barnet with Jack Grealish, James Maddison and Ollie Watkins.

Harouna Toure - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.a6bc80fc74e0dbaece858dc9172cefd4.png

My DOF signed Toure on a free transfer and he definitely looks like one for the future. Valued at £11-£14m he will become a good player for us hopefully.

Barnet FC Summer Transfer Window Part 2

download.png.005e23e543a4174e9513662c5c81b7bc.png

Manuel Locatelli - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.6a1c10cc1b789027a03e000eaa2345e9.png

Locatelli was an amazing signing and has been great for us so far. I would of liked him to get a few goals and assists but he has still been a top preformer for us.

Christian Silberbaur - £3.4m from Silkeborg IF

image.thumb.png.5e2d58c5a8f9568851627e5ba4cccde7.png

Another wonderkid in the making. Signed for £2.4m and already valued up to £50m. He hasn't played much but he would be a perfect ready made replacement for Samake if Samake ever leaves.

Kadan Young - Loan with £19m Optional Fee Included from Aston Villa

image.thumb.png.35b0e01bdaa27b956eb2e25e0127ccde.png

Kadan Young is a classic winger and reminds me of Ashley Young with Acceleration, Agility and Pace. I have him on loan but looking at trying to bring him permantly in January.

Gabriel Sionina - £6m from Chelsea

image.thumb.png.0aa9189e4f17e4268cdc6e8efa45b500.png

Sionina is a definite upgrade we needed on Beadle in goal and has been amazing this season with 8 Clean Sheets for the season which is a tied record for the club and only 21 goals conceeded in 23 games. Him being a Model Citizen is always great for tutoring purposes.

We have done very well in the transfer market this season with us receiving £162m from transfers out and only paying £52m in transfers in. £110m profit for the season.

Thanks for reading.

Barnet FC January Transfer Window Part 1

download.png.19c9ac80dd95aa2e77fba3c5f492b284.png

Juan Bisanz - Free Transfer

image.thumb.png.c54bfa480f7876e44ce8cdd9c1a484ee.png

I needed some extra midfield cover so Bisanz was signed on a Free Transfer from Banfield. He has a good spread of attributes and even if he doesn't work out and I ended up selling him I will have made the club decent money.

Martin Rodriguez - £7.25m from Godoy Cruz

image.thumb.png.21f985b148d2a46204bf0d75779cd323.png

Rodriguez was another midfielder signed to play back up and he is only 21 years old with great potential. His Tempermental personality concerns me and he didn't make a good debut with a 6.30 rating. Hopefully he will overcome this and become a good squad player for us.

David Torres - £1.1m from Celaya

image.thumb.png.48673575a42db1450e98b414df3000d0.png

Torres has come in and already made an impact with 2 goals in 2 games so far. He looks like an instant club legend in the making.

Only cost me £1.1m as well. Bargain.

Alfie Dorrington - £19m from Leicester City

image.thumb.png.213a85e04fb314d8942a832c00b3f1fa.png

Dorrington was signed by my DOF while I was on holiday. Seems pretty good and English as well so helps with squad registration etc.

Jevon Beattie - £2.3m from Sheff United

image.thumb.png.0596645365403d5ba640b93fc3c6fda8.png

Beattie signed as back up for Carvajal. I don't think he will get much game time but only 24 years old and has good potential.

Barnet FC January Transfer Window Part 2

David Martinez - £7.75m from Everton

image.thumb.png.fbaddfb872fa4a01042f27558b204a52.png

I managed to sign David Martinez in a Villarreal save I have and he was really good for me so I tried to sign him on a free transfer 2 seasons before but he rejected me for Everton. He barely played for Everton and I decided to take a punt on him for £7.75m. He will come in as a squad player but the long term plan is to have him as one of my main players.

He has 3 goals in 4 games so far which is a great return so far.

Amir Ibragimov - £15.75m from Manchester United

image.thumb.png.e5b2522d7052fc60e7419d754834225d.png

My DOF signed Ibragimov on deadline day and as I had money to burn I didn't cancel it. He didn't do well in his debut for us but I think he will do well eventually.

Siobodan Radovic - £16m from FK Partizan

image.thumb.png.ff382107efcc02d3fc622dde2fbf0bd7.png

Radovic looks like a beast of a player with his great Dribbling and Finishing. I can see him destroying oppositions defenses for many years.

We currently find ourselves 8th place at the end of January. We have done very well but had a bit of a mid-season blip going from as high as 4th in the league to 8th.

I am hoping we can pick up our form as I would like to try get Europeon football.

Quite a few transfers......

Alfie Dorrington played well for me in FM23 when I was playing with Preston North End and had made the Premier League.

Yeah I do tend to do a lot of recruitment to mostly make money on players while constantly building a better squad.

Yeah I think Dorrington will be a good signing.

Damm I was enjoying making money. I wish we didn't have to go back to our rubbish 10k stadium.

image.thumb.png.589f0ab4bbf9d0fd0afaed5e401507fa.png

I decided to ask for a new stadium to be built and wasn't expecting anything.

I then continued for a few days and this come up on my inbox.

image.thumb.png.3e004281db30469f56dab7fd8ffdfcdd.png

24,000 capacity. That will do nicely.

The next inbox item confused me though lol.

image.thumb.png.9aaccd7345e29ef42ce630cad8b1086d.png

They are going to expand The Hive stadium by another 1,700 seats and only take a month to do this. Very weird but I aint complaining.

Barnet FC Season 8 Review

download.png.467f48bfc9a115415cc993ef65ceee80.png

I managed to finish 7th in the league and Barnet will be playing Europeon football with us playing in the UEFA Europa Conference Play Offs and then hopefully we will qualify for the group stages :applause:

Great effort by my lads. Very proud.

image.thumb.png.8695a365f1027dce9d1538bc08f09d04.png

Scott McTominay was actually our joint top goalscorer with 10 goals for the season.

image.thumb.png.f3185ad6d077358c78489c5e0387674d.png

He had a great first season with us. Also got 8 assists for Scottish hero and he got the best average rating for the club with a 7.03 rating.

Our other top goalscorer was Jewison Bennette who got 10 goals and 4 assists.

image.thumb.png.9458a141c80c0e022512738d2134c4c5.png

Signing of the season was Pablo Cardaccio who formed a great defensive partnership with Samake. Both of my central defenders are rated up to £80m each.

image.thumb.png.bfebe81ac5cbc788c65cef457493c89b.png

Honourable mention to Ibragimov who got 8 goals in 14 games for us after signing in January.

Squad Overview

Scott McTominay got the Player Of The Season and he deserved it as well.

Young Player Of The Season was our left back Estevao Tecellao who was brilliant and got 8 assists for the season.

Gabriel Slonina broke a club record with 10 clean sheets for the season and Anthony Elanga's £60m sale was our record fee received.

Finally we got the news item to confirm that we will have a new stadium called The Barnet Stadium(Very Boring). It will hold 24,664 and cost £48m. It will take 3 years to build.

I didn't realize I had actually qualified for the Europa League :)

I thought 7th place meant you played the Europa Conference.

Anyway I aint complaining.

Barnet played Athletico Madrid in our first game in Europe and we managed to win 1-0 thanks to Kadan Young goal.

image.thumb.png.45c225fe5e52aa7c84463e0890739769.png

We have managed to sign Kadan Young for £19m and he has been brilliant so far with 4 goals in the first 7 games of the season.

Barnet Summer Transfer Window

download.png.4c5192d1e426acdd297e2b663c8596a8.png

Marcos Cresta - £4.8m from Lanus

image.thumb.png.9933e6c21c3407798fc110d4b8a311c9.png

Cresta is one for the future indeed. He has a great First Touch, Technique, Teamwork and Vision. He is definitely a player with a bit of class behind him and a crowd pleaser.

He has done amazing for our reserves/under 18's so far with 4 goals and 2 assists in 5 games.

Norbert Halasz - £2.5m from TSC Backa Topola

image.thumb.png.b212455b3139d9841152d9ef536c52eb.png

Another player who will get the crowds cheering is Halasz who has excellent Passing, Technique, Flair, Agility, Balance and Natural Fitness.

I love buying cheap wonderkids who go on to be superstars.

Carney Chukwuemeka - £17.5m from Rotherham United

image.thumb.png.b82c98bfbdf207cb6147d473a6524325.png

Chukawuemeka came in as I wanted to get some more English players in to help with squad registration in Europe. He also is natural in the Shadow Striker position. He hasn't played much this season. He did well for us last season on loan so I know the type of player he can be.

Ali Mustafa Al-Shamsi - Free Trasnfer from Al-Wasl

image.thumb.png.2d0a92ad08695ba1882c76a44e1ac389.png

Al-Shamsi was 45th in the NXGN Top 50 and I noticed his contract was expiring so I managed to get him on a Free transfer and he has done well for us so far. Another classy centre back is needed as Samake wants to leave to play for a bigger club so it is reassuring to know we have a ready made replacement for him.

We were then alerted of some players leaving their clubs so I signed a few experienced pro's in Lucas Paqueta, Ibrahim Sangare, Pedro Goncalves and Mattheus Nunes. Most of them have barely played and are just there as good tutors for the younger players but Mattheus Nunes has been pretty good so far.

image.thumb.png.7c788e352e7d4d85de49f8e58cc554a8.png

I then carried on signing a few more quality young players with Noah Bullard(£13.25m from FC Lugano), Jeus Berenguel(£10.75m from FC Barcelona) coming in to play for our youth tteam and reserves but the plan is to introduce them to first team football slowly. If either of these two become any good I will post their progress.

I didn't make much in the transfer market with us spending £74m and only getting £42.5m from player sales. I miss Saudi Arabia paying way too much for my players. It was always a good way to make extra money.

Joao Pulido - £4.3m from AC Milan

image.thumb.png.571a2cc4124acdee5d185d721d0cc2da.png

A few for the future. An experienced 28 year old in Marquinhos and some players to help pad out the youth team a bit.

I am planning to buy less experienced players, scale back on how much I spend and try promote players from the youth academy.

Next post will be live updates from the Carabao Cup final Vs Aston Villa.

Barnet FC Season 9 Review

download.png.d8acc9be14840f45c4d53d95dfaf0c01.png

I posted in the previous post but I am buzzing Barnet managed to win the Europa league.

We got to another Carabao cup final and also a FA Cup Semi.

We even got our highest position so far with a 5th place finish.

We will be playing Champions League football next season thanks to our Europa League win.

image.thumb.png.917d7a4e3a2879bd0fe6339241ab1d66.png

We didn't have an out and out goalscorer. Ibragimov was our top goalscorer with 14 goals. He also got 10 assists as well. He was very good for us.

image.thumb.png.522c41f00315c909b6d002c304a91086.png

Our best overall player for the season and also our Europa League hero was Siobodan Radovic who scored 13 goals and got 17 assists for the season. He also had a 7.04 average rating which was the highest at the club.

He has earnt a new contract.

Radovic got Player and Young Player of the season.

Gabriel Slonina managed to get 18 clean sheets for the season which broke his previous record he set last season.

McTominay was a naughty boy and broke our Worst Discipline record with 17 yellow cards and 2 red cards for the season.
