kandersson
Two new roles for AMC position: False Ten aka limited shadow striker With current player instructions (including Dribble More and Take More Risks) Shadow striker is a great role for a superstar AM/ST type though I'd suggest to add a more limited AMC/attack role similar to a central Ramdeuter for less creative archetypes. Usually operating behind a False Nine or a supporting striker, the False Ten will work hard off the ball, make vertical runs and act as a primary target for through balls and more direct passes. On the ball he will play short simple passes and dribble rarely leaving playmaking duties to more creative teammates (including the supporting striker). When defending the False Ten will help the striker(s) pressing opposition defenders and defensive midfielders. This role would be best performed by hard working midfielders with a DM/box-to-box/ball winner background. Real life examples: Simone Perrotta (Roma 2006-2010), Radja Nainggolan (Roma 2015-2020), Antonio Nocerino (Milan 2011-2012) Withdrawn/Deep Target Forward (unfortunately the Wide Target Forward has same initials ) I believe this role has already been requested in the past. Basically a Target Forward in AMC position, a common example was the Marouane Fellaini role at Everton and Manchester United, or more recently Wout Weghorst under Erik ten Hag. The Deep Target Forward will use his athleticism and physicality in the AM strata, playing with his back to the goal, competing with opposing players for headers, flick ons, and aerial balls while opening spaces for the striker or other attackers. Support and attack duty same as TF. Edited November 27, 2023 by kandersson
