Ronaldo Beckham
Why Peebles Rovers? The reason why I have wanted to do this save for a while now is because my grandparents and Dad were born in the small town in the Scottish Borders. I had many happy memories of coming to Peebles as a kid before my grandparents moved to be closer to me and my family. They do very good steak pies as well. This save will be a nice tribute to my grandparents and I am hoping to win the Scottish Premiership with Peebles Rovers. I am using this Level 10 database I found from a guy called Mozza. Here is the file in case anyone wants to try it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l8WhglKjzMQ76DdTL8CxAY4dhwovu068/view My next post will be diving a bit more into Peebles Rovers FC.
Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers FC Brief History Established in 1893, Peebles Rovers were members of the Scottish Football League Third Division between 1923 and 1926, finishing 14th and 8th in the two full seasons played, and were 14th in the unfinished 1925–26 season. In total, Peebles Rovers played 86 Scottish Football League matches, winning 28, drawing 15 and losing 43. They scored 159 goals and conceded 190. Their record victory at home was 7-1 against Beith on 18 April 1925. Their best away win was 5-2 against Galston, seven days previously on 11 April 1925. In 1937, Peebles Rovers moved from their traditional home in Victoria Park to Whitestone Park, after a local businessman successfully managed to acquire planning rights to the eastern end of Victoria Park, intending substantial development that was subsequently curtailed due to the start of World War II. Peebles Rovers have played in the Scottish Cup proper over twenty times, their first appearance being in 1907-08. They went on to play Hibernian at Easter Road in 1923, holding the Edinburgh side to a 0-0 draw, easily their best result in the competition. Their final Scottish Cup appearance was in 1965-66, when they drew 2-2 at Dumbarton and took the Sons to extra time in the replay before losing 3-2. Amongst Peebles Rovers achievements are six East of Scotland League titles. In the 1966-67, Rovers joined the junior grade of football until they rejoined the senior ranks in the East of Scotland League in 1980-81. In the 2007-08 season, Peebles won promotion to the East of Scotland Premier Division. The largest crowd at Whitestone Park is recorded as 1,750 for the 4-2 first round Scottish Cup win over Gala Fairydean in 1961. Modern Peebles Rovers Squad List Next post will be Peebles Rovers on FM24.
Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers on FM24 Facilities as expected with them being a Scottish Non-League team. Media expect us to finish 9th so hopefully the pressure is off us for the first season. According to this we need to get a striker in straight away. That will be our focus. The board and fans just want us to work within the budget and grow the clubs reputation while also attaining a top half finish in the league. I think we should be able to do that. I will update as I go along. I hope people will like this.
Ronaldo Beckham
No money to sign players. No wages to sign players and also only 17 players in the squad. This is going to be a tough one to start off with
Ronaldo Beckham
Just had my first proper match with Peebles and it was very high scoring This is going to be a fun save I think.
Jogo Bonito
A very nice reason for managing this club, hope you have a great time. The lower levels of Scotland (I guess that makes them the Lowlands ) seem very popular in FM24.

I look forward to seeing what your next career thread takes you.

I appreciate your offer of help. I didn't realise there was a Level 13 file out. I could only find a Level 10 but it wouldn't matter as I was set on managing Peebles Rovers due to the family connection. I do keep an eye on your career thread as I enjoy that is a bit different to others. I also enjoyed your Loch Ness FC career thread you did a while a go. Ronaldo Beckham
My youth intake has given me 14 x Elite Talents and a few Top Talents as well. Now I know these so called Elite Talents aren't going to become superstars but hopefully they can become icons or legends at the club and help me get back to back promotions.
Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers Season 1 Review A lovely 5th place finish in our first season and only 2 points from getting into the play offs. We were very close but went on a bad run towards the end of the season. Hopefully next season we can get up some more points and get promoted. Our top goalscorer was Cammy Ritchie who got 19 goals and 14 assists for the season. He was our best player with most assists as well and also had the best average rating of 7.21 Squad Overview Best Starting 11 Player Awards Cammy Ritchie got the Player Of The Season. Bob Harrison who got Young Player Of The Season also done well with 8 goals and 8 assists for the season. We have 25 new social media followers. Our Core supporters have improved but Hardcore went down this season. Thanks for following.

Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers Season 2 Review A season where I feel like an opportunity missed with us finishing 5th in the league. I thought we would of progressed but I feel like we have stalled a bit and it took us ages to hit some consistency. By the time we hit some consistency it was too late. We drew too many games. Here is a screenshot to show what I mean compared to last season. We need to do better and finishing games next season for us to progress. We got to the Quarter Finals of the King Cup but didn't do well in the other cup competitions. I feel like the cup competitions are the reason we struggled in the league. I will aim to play rotated teams in the cup competitions next season and try to keep players fresh for the league. Our best player was on loan striker Jack Vance who scored 20 goals for the season. Sadly he doesn't want to extend his loan. Owen Bell was our best player overall with the best average rating of 7.19 and he scored 19 goals with 12 assists as well. Luckily he is one of our boys so I aint got to worry about him going back to his club in the summer. Squad Overview Best Overall 11 Player Awards Owen Bell got the Player Of The Season and also the Goal Of The Season. Jack Vanced collected the Young Player Of The Season to go alongside his top goalscorer award. Our social media followers have increased again with 19 new followers. Our Family supporters profile improved while our Core supporters profile decreased. I have had a few job offers from teams in the same league as me and then I get an offer of a job interview with Albion Rovers which would of been a good job offer if I was doing a Scottish journeyman save but I am not doing that so I rejected it. The finances look pretty good with us having £26k in the bank and the projection have shown we could make a couple of thousand profit each season which is good for a non league Scottish club. I am just happy we aint in the red.
Ronaldo Beckham
The board are slowly improving junior coaching and youth recruitment. I got no chance in getting the facilities improved much until I am in the Scottish Premier I think.

Hootieleece
It seems when you're in the lower leagues' player run teams seem to have great intakes. No matter how bad the recruiting and coaching. (maybe confirmation bias) 15 Elite Talents! Thats an entire Team!
Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers Season 3 Review We managed to get promotion with 1 game to go. Very happy and proud of my boys. They have done the town of Peebles very proud. We were very consistent this season. I think the gradual progress partly is because the board willing to keep putting me on coaching courses. I now have a Continental A License. We will now get to study for our Continental Pro License. We won the EoS 2nd Division title on the last game of the season. Liam Coogans was our top goalscorer with 17 goals for the season. He was a very good free transfer signing for us. He also got 14 assists and an average rating of 7.11. Max Stewart was our other best player with a 7.14 average rating and he scored 8 goals and 7 assists. Squad Overview We also got another improvement on the Junior Coaching. Best Overall 11 Player Awards Max Stewart got the Player Of The Season & John Docherty got the Young Player Of The Season.

Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers FC Season 4 Review Promotion Clinched We managed to clinch promotion with one game to go. What a great season the boys had for me. I wasn't expecting a back to back promotion but I was buzzing when we did. In the 4 cup competitions we were involved in this season we only got through to the quarters of the Kings Cup and the other cup competitions we only got to the 3rd rounds. Our top goalscorer was Jimmy Barclay who got 15 goals for the season. We got him on loan for the season from Queens of the South. We are hoping to sign him on a free transfer in the summer. Max Stewart was our best overall player with an 7.23 average rating which was the best at the club and he also scored 8 goals and got 8 assists. Best Overall 11 Player Awards Surprisingly Alan Watt got the Player Of The Season. Usually the Player Of The Season goes to the player with the best average rating so it makes a nice surprise. Watt was very good with 12 goals and 5 assists and a very good average rating of 7.17. Supporters Profile stays the same for the 2nd year in a row but we do have 52 more social media followers. The board want us to get a top half finish in the EoS Premier. Hopefully we can do that next season. Thanks for following.

Ronaldo Beckham
Just been offered an interview with Stranraer who currently play in the Scottish League One which would be a hell of a jump up the Scottish ladder but I am staying at Peebles. East Kilbride who are in League Two also offered me a job interview but I turned that down as well. Nice to see some bigger clubs interested in me.

Ronaldo Beckham
We didn't beat Ross County but we gave it a good try. Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Season 5 Review I managed to finish 8th with Peebles this season. I am happy with that. I was just happy to not be relegated. Hopefully we can make the play offs next season. In the cup competitions we managed to get to the 4th round of the Scottish Cup and the 5th round of the Scottish Challange Cup, Our top goalscorer was James Richardson. A 23rd year old striker we signed from Dundee. He was amazing for us in his first season with him scoring 20 goals for the season. Cole Smith was our best overall player with a 7.04 average rating. Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers FC Season 6 Review A good season for us with a 4th position finish and another decent cup run. Cole Smith was our best player with 21 goals and 8 assists. He also had the best average rating for the club with a 7.17 rating. Ronaldo Beckham
Biggest game in Peebles Rovers history coming up soon. I am gutted it wasn't an away game. Ronaldo Beckham
Scottish Cup Dream is over for this season. I was really hoping to get a draw but Hibs were just too good. We had no chance. We broke our attendance record with 1,250 people turning up. A full house. Nice to see the stadium was full for this. We also broke the record for gate receipts with us getting £12k from the game.
Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers FC Season 7 Review Part 1 We managed to top the league this season. A great effort by the lads. We had to go into some sort of Play Off league with 2 other teams Kilwinning Rangers & St.Cuthbert. Local lad Lewis Kirk was top goalscorer for the season with 18 goals and 18 assists. He had an amazing season. Our signing of the season was signing former Hearts player Connor Smith who managed to get the best average rating of 7.39 and he also scored 17 goals for the season. I will do part 2 in a minute after I have played the Play Off games.
Ronaldo Beckham
Part 2 A lovely 4-2 win. So far so good. Followed by a 3-0 win. Promotion guaranteed. Best Overall 11 Player Awards Lewis Kirk wins Player Of The Season and Young Player Of The Season. He was also top goalscorer and had the most assists. He ended up getting the best average rating pipping Connor Smith after the last 2 games. Ronaldo Beckham
Peebles Rovers Season 8 Review I managed to finish 12th in the league this season which is what I was expecting with us making the step up in competition. We are now playing Celtic and Hearts reserves so the quality of opposition we are playing now has upped massively. Only 1 point difference between us and up to 7th place Pollok. Hopefully we can get a bit higher next season. Gradual progress is always the key. Lewis Kirk was our top goalscorer again but only with 13 goals this season. He doesn't seem as good as he was last season. Our other best player for the season was Dave Hutchinson who got the best average rating of 7.06 and scored 9 goals with 16 assists as well. Squad Overview Best Overall 11 Player Awards Dave Hutchison was Player and Young Player Of The Season. Thanks for reading.
