dexta200 Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 yeah cheers. i got a few regens and i have saivet sakho fleck tuia wijnaldum and the usual bandy + welbeck should be good. stoppped scoring goals this season for some reason scored 3goals a game average last time around. anyways update 7 games gone 2 in hand of chelsea whoare 3 points clear still unbeaten in the league 45 games now! only conceded 2 this term which is pretty good! lost comm shield 2-1 to arsenal but won the euro super cup 3-1 against Bayern. CL group Espanyol, Palermo and Galatasaray Drew to Espanyol and beat Palermo. but goals just arent coming its annoying when i look at lasst season and the extra fire power i have this time around! anyways ill update soon, hows your game going pele? Does anyone think i made a mistake or is this a good deal? One of the reasons i sold Vidic is because 5 or 6 of my squad dsliked him!! Also im new enough to this game and was wondering how do you retrain a player in a new position?? Im contemplating training Pique or Evans for the RB position. Thanks! Btw...halfway into my 2nd season and WOW your tactics works perfect, my team creates so so many chances, I have beaten Chelsea 4-0 and 2-5 both times, excellent formation! All I see is Ronaldo running in middle of both my strikers and he has scored an amazing 16 goals in 15 league apprearances, 21 overall this season (1st season). This is who I have bought so far... Navie Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 I have the exact team settings you posted but the only individual settings I have is 'Long shots' on 'Rarely' for my midfielders whose long shots is below 15, unless they have over 18 flair like Ronaldo. Also both my Central defenders 'Closing down' is set to 'Own area' and mentality is 5 notches to the left (defensive). Have also specified my freekick taker which is Matias Fernandez and penalty taker. Both central defenders attack each post and striker challengers goalkeeper for corners, thats about it. Also check this...I was winning 1-0 against Everton, they scored 2 then I scored 2, then they scored again so final score was 3-3 and I was AWAY, I have conceeded 20 away and 7 at home in 25 games, I have realised that fast defenders do get behind my defence, i'm playing Ferdinand and Vidic in centre, Evra and O'Shea on sides.
