But it's not wierd, it just means that Schuster has been bumming Ronaldo too much. Once a month is when you should do it and he obviously couldn't help himself. I'm guessing it was after you played them in the CL in quick sucession and he played so well in both that Schuster praised him both times.

He's not interested. The twat. Otherwise I'd definitely have bought him. He's ffffb. Always has been Lahm won't come either.

been looking at scholes replacements and i have had a bid of 25m accepted for steven defour. is he worth it?

I doubt Silva is worth £53m. It seems you really need to unsettle the top players to avoid paying shed loads.

unsettle players by:

praising them (not to often, do about once a month tops).

Stating you have an interest in buying them.

If your team rep > their team rep put in bids below their value. When it gets rejected point blank it can annoy the player.

check which one of them has "doesnt like so and so" and offer them a new contract. Will wipe out the unhappiness they feel with the other player. If they both dont like the other then offer both a contract.

As for my game... already had to ship Adriano out after 6months. He was signed as a backup on a free and happily came (was 29 turning 30). Started 3 games and had 15 sub appearances and yet was constantly moaning.

Managed to get 7.5million + 20% from Everton on the last day of the window. He was only worth 2mill at time. He gonna be a thorn though as he still a pretty decent player. Least Everton are down in 17th, hopefully they be relegated but it not likely icon_frown.gif

I usually set their asking value to £0. That interests the clubs and then they make bids of £0, which I negotiate to £0 + £[a reasonably high price for the reputation and type of player] over 24 months. It usually works.

ok a tough decision time now (or maybe not)

just beaten Barca in teh CL semis and Messi is interested and has a minimum fee release of £37.5M now as soon as he was interested i was thinking buy buy buy etc but then i see i have the likes of Dos Santos, Ronaldo, Silva, Rooney, Bojan (coming) and wondered if he would fit?

maybe a new tactic is in order if he signs

something like

GK : Riou

DR : De Silvestri

DC : Barzagli ©

DC : Sakho (VC)

DM : Mascherano

MR : Ronaldo (with arrow to AMR)

ML : Messi (with arrow to AML)

AM : Silva

ST : Rooney

ST : Bojan

where could that squad improve?

First and foremost you'll need a left back in that team. Obviously your success has gone to your head and you're cocky enough to have an unbalanced line-up icon_wink.gif I assume Evra is DL?

Is Sakho that good for you? I know he has good stats at the start, but his pace isn't the best and I don't think he has too high a PA. I can't complain about your forward line, except for selling Tevez - you're the one who mostly liked him on here and now you're letting him go! Disgrace.

How much is Meulensteen on now? There was a picture of him in my paper today.

Me too. That's what made my start my Mourinho/Capello thread.

And good way to win the league. I've got another good one myself that I'll put up a SS of when I can.

11 bloody offsides icon_eek.gif It seems you also have a problem with getting them to convert their shots into goals. I've just had Arsenal twice with Chelsea stuck in between. Nightmare. The second Arsenal game was a replay after a blatant ****ing foul by Hleb got them a last minute equaliser in the FA Cup. Twats. Chelsea got beat 3-2 and then I scraped a 2-1 win against Arsenal in the replay. Usually my matches against Arsenal end 3-2 to me. Those jammy gits. How dare they score so many.

I didn't notice those offsides, but the figure wasn't high in the other two games so I'm not worrying about that.

As for converting shots, we'll see how the new patch changes that, but it didn't help the semi 2nd leg when I brought Saha on and he had three decent chances near the end and either decided to miss or give Cech a nice, easy save. Got to get rid of that French fcuker icon_mad.gif

I sold Tevez in second season to Arsenal.

Start of fourth season, playing Arsenal when Tevez went on a Frenzy(NOT a scoring Frenzy)........

23rd Minute : Hargreaves'll have to go off, The injury was inflicted by Tevez.

68th Min : His manager looks a bit worried(Matias Fernandez) Tevez's challenge caused the Injury. - Out for 2 Months icon_frown.gif

71st Min : It doesn't look good for Ferdinand, He collided with Tevez.

89th Min : Its game over for Ronaldo. Tevez's ..............' - Out for 5 months icon_mad.gif

Match Drawn 2-2. Ended the game with 9 men. Since then, Rooney is single handedly keeping us on top.

Have you got a spare graphics card or a mate with a graphics card you could borrow to try and work out if its the mobo or the gfx?

Evra is indeed my left back alhough i'm looking into the possibility of replacing him and have upset Bale \o/

Sakho is brilliant for me and yes his pace isn't that good but Barzagli's is too bad so it evens is self out, the thing with Tevez is that since his injury (at the the beginnning of the season) he is not continuing to get 1 month injuries at the most possibly times (e.g now for 2 monthes before the FA & CL Finals) plus with Bojan coming Tevez won't be a starter

Still on the 17k a week icon_biggrin.gif i offered him a coaching role at 14k a week and he accepted so thought sod it i'll offer him the assistant role again and he only wanted 17k

Hi guys I am new to the forum been playing fm for years. I am currently half way through my first season as Man utd. I am top of the league through to the final of league cup still in ECL and F.A cup.

Man utd have money problems at the minute so I am trying to off load a few players Carrick being one of them as he does not play many games for me. I have just beaten Sunderland 6-0 with Rooney grabbing 5 goals getting man of the match and a star rating of 10 never seen this before.

I will post more up on my team very soon.

aye i cant get rid of him either ive set his value to 0 and still nobody wants him icon_biggrin.gif, might have to give him a few games vs sunderland/derby etc to get him noticed

Rooney voted fans player of the season again and for some bloody reason Anderson continues to be my the best ever 11 icon_mad.gif

BB: That keeper looks good except for his mental and especially physical stats. Tevez to Chelsea is a big icon13.gif Can't believe you're letting that happen.

He'll never make in a million years. Those are some of the worst physical stats I've ever seen. Regens are so flawed...

jonahno6-Bojan isn't good enough yet. Use Tevez. And you need a RB and quick. A winger too and maybe a goalkeeper to compete with Foster.
