This might turn into a feature request, but it might be too trivial. I wonder if we could have the option to select some second-career options while waiting for that golden opportunity to arise -- coaching, media, whatever -- in a way that colours subsequent player & media interactions, but doesn't require a lot of hands-on attention?

You mean participating in talk shows and so on? 

Dude, it sounds okay, but the AI needs a lot (!) of improvement for me even to consider it. 

Every single time I get a trial player: a journalist has a question....That's just to name an example, but there are many others. The answers we can give are arbitrary and don't describe exactly what's going on. Hence, why many people delegate anything related to media and if we could, player interaction as well aside from contract negotiations.

Not really -- I didn't mean "things to do" exactly, but maybe a way could be devised to 'do your badges' prior to landing a job -- something modelled on the actual IRL license programmes.
