AI teams never ‘work out’ your tactics. It’s been confirmed and it makes sense from all the basic stuff they can’t do, to be fair. 
 

What they can do though is set up more defensively if you start to become a good team. They won’t react to your tactics as such.

I never understood this one. Move all your players to the left side of the pitch and check if the AI changes their tactic in any way whatsoever and you have your answer.

Yes

No. But AI managers can react to situations in game. And will initially set up differently against you based on reputation

It hasn't, it's just presented differently now. 'WOB' is your starting formation, and 'WIB' is how your team attacks via the team and player instructions, which can be viewed in the analysis section of the game.
