We had an easy month but after a close shave against Brighton, we were brilliant, such a good month.

I've got my first 11 starting against Brighton, we know they can cause upsets.  Lele plays it to Hubana and he's fouled in the box, he hits the pen and Peretz holds it.  We've not been the best at pens recently.  FINALLY!  We've had so many chances, we've been by far the better team, Pitchford down the left, plays it across to Boxall, he passes to Biffi who just outside the box absolutely blasts it, the 'keeper gets a hand to it but it's in after 78 minutes!  No way, from kick off Brighton have equalised, Pavlovic breaking hearts.  Becerra across the box and surely that's a goal!?  Pitchford puts us ahead after 84 minutes after Pavlovic should of had his brace and scabbed a lead! Take a step back and try and hold the lead this time!  There's an equaliser.... but it's been disallowed! Pavlovic blocked Robledo's view, corner came in, it's headed and Robledo saves only for Pavlovic to hit in but he's blocking Robledo when the header comes in!  This is a mad 10 minutes!!! The final whistle goes, we are deserved winners.  They had an xG of 0.65, we had an xG of 4.08!!!  Brighton GK Peretz was MOTM with 13 shots saved and a 8.7 rating.

Villa are in great form but we're at home and we're undefeated in over 40 games at home.  Hojlund heads in after 3 minutes after a great bit of play from Kimble.  Phillips doubles after 4 minutes, Hubana hit in the freekick, Dekker heads back, Hojlund strikes, it hits the post and Phillips hits into the open net.  Biffi puts us 3 ahead in the 74th minute.  Kimble crossed, Hojlund headed it but Blair headed out, Kimble picks up the loose ball, played it across the floor, Hubana was blocked but it found Biffi who hit in.  Biffi and Boxall have missed two incredible chances at the end of the game but we played really well, that was a brilliant start and Villa didn't manage a shot on target.

We have a couple of injuries and suspensions in defense against Bournemouth so it's an untested back 3.  Hubana heads Neves' corner in after 13 minutes go to give us an early lead.  That's a huge mistake!  Bournemouth defender Lomonaco basically passes Hubana the ball and he absolutely smashes it in after 46 minutes!  Hubana heads in his hat-trick, Neves hit in a corner, Phillips headed back across goal and Hubana was free to head in after 68 minutes.  That was a brilliant win, Bournemouth didn't have a single shot.  Wolves pull one back just before half time as we don't clear our lines, Doyle with a good run puts it across goal where Henderson is waiting to poke in.  Hubana makes it 3 - 1 as he heads in Boxalls corner after 51 minutes.  Hubana gets his brace after he volleys in Boxalls corner after 62 minutes.   Hubana makes it a perfect hat-trick in the 91st minute after Boxall plays a low ball across the box.  He's assisted all 3 of Hubana's goals :D.

Some tired players so I'm having to rotate but Wolves are a team we should beat, especially with us being at home.  Dekker heads in Hubana's freekick after 27 minutes to give us the lead.  Boxall doubles after 31 minutes, he hits in a corner, it's headed out to Biffi, he plays it back to Boxall, he shoots at the near post and it takes a slight deflection to take it past the Wolves GK.

A few injuries but I have to start my first team against Sheff Utd!  Yorkshire Derby!  We don't have many of those in this save!  We haven't been great today and just been given what looked like a soft penalty, Hubana steps up.. and hits in!  The Rotherham penalty hoodoo is over!  We're ahead after 59 minutes.  Hubana doubles the lead after 75 minutes, Becerra plays a ball down the left, Boxall crosses first time and Hubana heads in.  Hubana gets another hat-trick, that's 3 games in a row.  Becera with a lovely cross finds Hubana who heads in after 78 minutes.  Phillips makes it 4 in the 90th minute, good passing from The Millers, Hubana hits it out to Phillips, he charges and hits the ball past Luiz Junior.  Hubana has gone from missing sitters to getting a hat-trick 3 games in a row!

We have a big game against Manchester United on New Years Day so I have to rotate against Hull, we should have enough quality. Ohhh what a strike, Tapia gives us the lead after 2 minutes with a 25 yard blockbuster!  Biffi doubles after 52 minutes, Tapia throws in to Boxall, he plays a one-two with Tapia, plays a ball across to Biffi who hits in from inside the box.  Hubana heads in Flores' corner after 64 minutes to make it 3 - 0.  Pitchford makes it 4 after 88 minutes, an awful pass back from Hull but Pitchford still has 40 yards to go, he dribbles all the way down, strikes it, it's the bar and in.  Brilliant win.  I had two youth CBs and my youth RWB on for the 90 mins, that's a good sign.

We've made a gap at the top and we're playing well, some big games coming up but we're in such good form.

Our players don't win this award very often at all, infact I can't remember the last time we did so this is a cool one.

Liverpool are a tough team to face but they're not in good form and hopefully we can take advantage of that.

That's all 3 of my Chile players being national players now :D.  I just need to try and find him more game time as he has made his debut for me.

Player of the Year Awards

Hubana was runner up to two, sure we can get him a win in the next couple of seasons.

Some difficult games starting with Manchester United.  Abdulai has arrived at the club, my board think I've overpaid but I think they're havin' a laugh.  I've got a bid in for a youth striker and I'll be trying to find some cheap youngsters.  I plan to loan a couple more out so I expect some movement this window.

Do you not get tired of all that winning?

No, me neither :D. Although, I'm not sure I've ever had a save with that much winning!

My team is just too good now and I'm loving it , I think this is my longest ever FM save.  The AI builds such strange teams or buys players they clearly don't need.   Miley for instance is now an impact sub after just 6 months and 6 games played at Inter but they're paying him 375k a week.  Big clubs in England haven't had the best newgens come through and since every summer I browse through national teams U18/U21/Main etc, I've found some now World Class players where big clubs are just buying mid players for too much money.   It's strange to say Rotherham United have World Class players and probably the best team in the league .  Only potentially City have some better players, I don't think Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or Manchester United have better really, on par, maybe but overall I reckon my squad is stronger.  Again, a massive AI team building problem as I don't have the money like they do.  Real, Bayern and Inter are the only teams off the top of my head that do have better players and probably better squads.  Especially Inter having Yamal and Ribeiro as strikers but my newgen Hubana isn't far from Haaland levels.

I also think they sack managers far too quick and don't let them actually build a side.  Another reason why the squads end up the way they do.  Especially since i've found player partnerships this year to have a huge impact.  It's why I have no plans to replace Hojlund, is there better strikes out there?  Yep.  Can they come in and fit into my system like he already does and have such a good partnership with Hubana?   It isn't worth testing.  He's not the best striker in the world, he's still good enough, he has a great partnership with my star player and he's a very good striker who if he carries on, over the next couple of years will become Rotherham Uniteds record league goalscorer.

At times I do feel like I'm exploiting the match engine with my side that is mostly players with incredible physical attributes :D.  We score so many headers.

If I do get bored though, I already know my next save will be with Scarborough :D.  I always enjoy getting a team from the National League North into the Prem.

I still want to win the quad and I still want a new Stadium since we have the fans for it.  I'd like to see one of my players win World Player of the Year aswell so I have challenges for this save still :D.

Edit:

Here's what I mean, just some of the players I've bought cheap and are now World Class :D.

January

daaafe9da74f0a3b1f6c84fbb6556ef5.png

Well, we were absolutely brilliant all month, I've not been able to play for a couple of days and feel like the games punished me with the Spurs result, you can see why in the above post .

We're away at Manchester United and it's a big game in the title race, can we keep this amazing form going?  Brilliant football from Hubana down the right, takes on one, takes on two, crosses and Flores only just as as a sub heads in after 48 minutes to make it 0 - 1.  We were lucky, Tremble fouled Uranga but it's outside the box, any closer and it would have been a pen!  Flores gets his brace in the 70th minute.  Brilliant through ball from Tremble finds Juliao, he plays it across goal and Flores hits in.  What a strike, Flores gets a perfect hat-trick in te 78th minute.  Tapia with a throw in to Flores, he plays it back, runs into the box, Tapia plays it to Biffi, Biffi to Flores and he strikes it on his weak foot into the bottom corner, lovely finish!  Flores was the difference today, what a win!

Home against Fulham, a team we really should be beating.  Good passing from the Millers and on the minute mark Juliao is fouled and we have a pen, Hubana steps up and it's in!  1 - 0 after just 2 minutes.  Hubana has his brace after just 4 minutes, heading in Becerra's cross.  Neves makes it 3 just before the break, Hojlund steals the ball from Martinez, Becerra crosses, Hubana heads it down to Neves who finishes.  Brilliant first half.  Van Persie breaks the offside trap and pulls one back after a great ball over from Stansfield after 51 minutes.  Yoro makes it 4 after 87 minutes, Boxall hits in the corner, Phillips heads it but the goalkeeper saves with his foot and Yoro hits in the rebound.  We were absolutely brilliant, we had 32 shots, 20 on target!  Cavlina the Fulham GK finished with an 8.4 rating after conceding 4 including a penalty!

It's taken just 6 minutes to take the lead against Everton.  Neves hits in a freekick and Phillips is unmarked at the back post, it's a simple header into the back of the net.  It was incredibly poor marking from Everton.  That was lovely, Hubana finishes off a brilliant move in the 31st minute.  Neves hits such a lovely ball on his left foot over the top after some silky footwork, Juliao picks up and hits across goal for Hubana to hit in.  It's a penalty to Everton, brilliant football from Tete, he's trying to take everyone on, Phillips tries to stop him but takes him down.  Tete pulls one back from the spot after 41 minutes. Tapia loves a goal and he's come off the bench to hopefully seal the game,  Flores hits in the corner and it's cleared to Tapia, he plays a one-two with Juliao and then thumps it, it's off the post and in after 84 minutes.  Everton were giving us a game so we really needed this!  Juliao was brilliant today!

Spurs are in good form, we battered them away earlier in the season but it ended up goalless, let's see if we can out score them here.  We're down to 10, Neves has been sent off for a two-footed tackle after just 17 minutes, will it end our winning streak?  Well, that has to be one of the joke goals i've ever conceded, Spurs hit the ball across, no one is there to attack, Kimble boots it straight against Robledo for no reason and Kulusevski hits in after 61 minutes, they've not had a chance all game and they're ahead from that.  What in the world.  We're down to 9 men after Boxall decideds to two foot someone this time.  Embarrasing.

I think it's our season again, we're all ahead.

Thankfully it didn't matter.

A bit boring from our end, we don't have room in the squad, we're in a brilliant place and I don't need anyone.  I brought in a youth DM that I already had in place and a youth striker with bags of potential.

I'll keep quiet for a bit.

It isn't a problem :D.  I've never seen such an odd goal, have you?  So baffled by Kimble, under no pressure and just boots it at Robledo .

Carabao Cup Final

995004393dc4fa77667cfb825d1e9231.png

We beat Liverpool and now we're in our 5th Carabao Cup Final in a row, winning the last 4.  We've won the Carabao Cup 5 times and lost 2 finals.  I'd love to make it 5 in a row but West Ham are a tough team to beat.

Line ups:

4348845a0a46d2954f3ff7f4c3646aac.png

Everyone is back for The Millers.  Our first team is ready to go.  Looks like West Ham are missing their winger Rene Caron who is absolutely class, that's a huge miss for them.

First half.

West Ham kick off.

7th minute: There's an early goal for The Millers but it's been ruled offside!  That is a close one!!!  Hubana is cms offside!  cms!

This hasn't been the most enteraining first half.  Silveria is keeping Hubana quiet but I'm hoping we can take advantage of his yellow card.

34790ae49ca3137b5b7e20dff9f7d849.png

Second half.

The Millers kick off.

60th minute: Pitchford and Boxall replace Hojlund and Juliao.  Hopefully they can make a difference.

69th minute: Is there a penalty? Neves appears to be pushed over by Ferran Torres.  It's given!  Hubana steps up... and it's in the corner past Lima!  It's 1 - 0 to Rotherham United!

75th minute: Flores and Biffi replace Hubana and Phillips.

78th minute: West Ham have equalised.  Plonka plays a one-two from a freekick, is allowed to dribble about 20 yards unchallenged and slots in.  What is that defending Millers!?

80th minute: Boxall heads on and Flores is in!  But that's a huge save from Lima!  Neves with the corner but West Ham clear.

84th minute: Gamal is on for Neves.

85th minute: Lele crosses and it's a big chance for Flores but he heads well well wide, that was poor!

It's just before half ET and Lima is injured for West Ham, they're down to 10!

08fee4f728d6e777e5165ae39eaa8062.png

First half extra time:

Henderson comes on for Botman so West Ham actually have a GK on the pitch now.

94th minute: Becerra intercepts, Gamal to Biffi, he plays it to Pitchford, he's in and it's past Henderson!  It's 2 - 1 to Rotherham!

98th minute: West Ham have a freekick, it's hit in, we head out and there's an overhead kick from just outside the box!  It looks fancy but it's easy for Robledo!

98th minute: Tapia is replacing Lele, I'm not trusting Kimble to come on here after the Spurs game, especially since he's got nervous body language .

102nd minute: It's 3 - 1 to  the Millers.  Dekker dribbles down the middle, plays it outwide to Becerra, he plays it into the box where Biffi hits in.

Losing Lima just before half time has cost West Ham big time, I'll take it!

Second half extra time:

107th minute: Biffi with the freekick and it's a top save from Henderson.  Flores hits in the corner but Henderson takes easily.

112nd minute: Good passing from the Millers, Gamal strikes from distance and Henderson saves for a corner.  Boxall takes and it's headed clear, Biffi picks up, crosses and it's Hendersons.

116th minute: Bitshiabu makes it 4, heading in Boxalls freekick.

5 in a row!!! Yes, we got a bit lucky with that injury!

I think we have to make allowances for the 3d graphics engine. Although it looks like he just kicks it at the 'keeper, it could equally have been a miskick. I've seen plenty of own goals where the defender might be trying to head over the bar, or hook it clear and it just looks like a good finish :D

Congrats on another trophy. How much silverware is that in the save?

That is true!

2 Champs League, 7 Prems(Number 8 should be coming this season), 1 Club World Championship, 3 Super Cups, 1 Europa League, 3 FA Cups, 1 Sky Bet Championship, 5 Carabao Cups, 7 Community Shields and a Europe/South American Club Challenge.

I think i'm getting closer to starting a save in the National League North but the idea of seeing some of my newgens in their prime is keeping me locked into this :D.  I've never had a save where i'm pretty much favourite to win every game we go into.  I've only ever managed an unbeaten season in the league once  which was a few years back in a York save where I played 4 - 4 - 2 with Thomas Lemar absolutely tearing it up like he was Prime Messi/Ronaldo in one and Harvey Elliot in the middle of the park playing like Prime Pirlo.  Doing it again on this save would be amazing.

All 4 of these CMs play, they're not really rotation players, I can trust them all.  Juliao and Neves usually start but they're all good players.  Biffi has so much potential.

I'm retraining MacDonald in the Mezzala role, I feel he's more suited as his jumping reach is 4 so he isn't going to play upfront for me.

My backup strikers.  Pitchford plays in Hubana's position and Flores in Hojlunds.  Flores is not a Pressing Forward but he still scores goals, he does miss some absolute sitters but then will score an absolute beauty of nothing, he's a flair player.

Out on loan.

Hu Peng came with a bad injury, he's improving well and could play a part here, or I just make money from his sale.

He had so much promise, I had an early bid in for him and he came with a broken leg!  He's improving but still has a long way to go.

Academy player, I reckon I'll be selling him in the summer.

I bought Young seasons ago now, he's not bad he just isn't my sort of player now, I'll be looking to sell.

What do you do with Quiroga?  I feel he's a decent squad player... or I cash in.  Not sure about this one.

Academy player with lots of potential, just not sure in what position.

Best Academy Players

We've seen Moreira who might be the best, we have some others through our ranks.

I really hope I can get him up to a standard here just because he has the same first and last name

Blott has potential to be our left sided Mezzala.

He won't make it here but he's potentially a Prem striker.

7cd811ef071c7ab6ac0ed1bc758e1385.png

Really hoping I can get Wu Reunze up to Prem standards, I mean he looks very good for a 17 year old.

d416e965009c5d5fe79e8a6da5d3f06b.png

Already on loan at FC Twente, but I'll absolutely be looking to cash in, he's not my type of striker.

So that's the Rotherham United 2033/2034 squad.

I have a very strong starting 11, it's why it's so hard to buy better because with the small stadium still and the fact we lose money every month so I need to buy youth and sell for more to keep our finances healthy that I can't afford the absolute best.  Then again, I do have some of those players.

February

b5b214247fe41076f241fd19d026a929.png

Just, fantastic.

After their red cards, Boxall and Neves can stay on the bench vs Chelsea as Biffi played well against Liverpool in the cup, he deserves to start.  And it's Biffi who wins the ball back, we counter, a brilliant ball over by Hubana to Becerra, he dribbles down the left, crosses in and Hojlund ends his goal drought by heading in after just 5 minutes.  Hubana doubles after 22 minutes, Lele plays a low ball into the box, Biffi dummys and takes out his marker, the ball is picked up by Hubana who hits in low past Trubin.  That was brilliant football by Rotherham United, Lele finishes it by crosssing from the right, Davidson misses his header and Juliao volleys in after 30 minutes. Pitchford makes it 4 in the 94th minute, Lele down the right again, he crosses and Pitchford heads in using the back of his head!  Lele with 3 assists today!

It's an early goal against Sunderland, Tremble plays through MacDonald who's playing at MC, he collects and slots in!  Hubana doubles after 26 minutes, heading in Tapia's cross.  Good win.

Boxall and Neves are suspended, it'll be a tough game, the positive is we're at home.  We've had alot of chances but we've not put them away and in the 41st minute Lele gives away a pen, looked harsh but it's been given.  Haaland steps up and Robledo saves!  It's been an action pack first half and on the stroke of half time Peter Phillips hits it from just outside the box into the corner to give us the lead!  Hubana heads in Biffi's corner after 54 minutes to double the lead, that was needed, City are trying their hardest to make a dent.  It's a penalty of our own this time!  Juliao was brought down.  Hubana puts his pen away though!  It's 3 - 0 after 76 minutes!

There's a huge mistake at the back and we take the lead against Newcastle after 18 minutes.  Allgower intercepts the ball at the back but his pass wide is poor, Hojlund intercepts and drives low past Grabara.  Hubana makes it 2 after 51 minutes, smashing in a 25 yard freekick!  That's even worse!  Olise plays a very poor ball backwards after being pressed, Hojlund says thank you very much as Grabara is well out of position and Hojund has an open net to hit into after 58 minutes.  Yoro makes it 4 after 80 minutes, heading in Flores' freekick.  Newcastle were absolutely terrible today, those were two huge mistakes.

Record points are in sight, we're just too good this season.

I'm no expert but surely it makes sense to think that a large capacity invites more fans and therefore more money from ticket sales?

March

28cc35b5ceb6773402e445760c98eb8c.png

Revenge on Rennes, lucky against Arsenal and Leeds and brilliance against Liverpool, a good month.

Arsenal are having a bad season, I'm hoping we can add to it.  It looks like we may have robbed it in 82nd minute, it's a good counter, Hojlund plays it through to Biffi who slots in, it's very bad from Arsenal CB Kaiky keeping Biffi onside, he's not in line with the other 3 defenders at all!  A super-sub winning us the game through our only real chance, Arsenal had an early chance but they hit the woodwork, a game lacking real quality but I'll take the win! All 3 goals we've scored so far this season have involved MacDonald as he's come off the bench to play in CM, I might be onto something here.

It's a Yorkshire Derby awat at Leeds.  And they have an early pen as Hubana takes down former-Miller Iroegbunam!  Bertug who loves a goal against us steps up and... wow!  That is a poor penalty!  Robeldo takes easily!  It's Iroegbunam who gives Leeds the lead in the 48th minute, good passing down the left, Aguiar plays across goal and Iroegbunam finishes.  It's a 96th minute equaliser!  Flores with a quality ball from the right, it beats 3 defenders and finds Pitchford just onside to hit in!  Phew!  We were not great today at all!

We haven't been at our best at creating chances in the last two games so Boxall gets the nod to start in MC to hopefully unlock Liverpools defense.  We take an early lead against Liverpool, Juliao intercepts the ball and we counter, Becerra plays to Hojlund, he dribbles into the box, shoots low and he megs the Liverpool goalkeeper Castro after 6 minutes!  Liverpool equalise in the 8th minute, Echeverri crosses, Yemery heads down, beating Becerra in the air and Kusi-Asare is there to smash in.  We're back in the lead after 13 minutes!  A brilliant dribble and then cross from Hojlund finds Hubana who beats his marker and heads in.  What a strike from Hubana!!!  Liverpool have a throw in, it's to Kusi-Asare and his pass back is intercepted by Hubana who then smashes it from 20 odd yards out after 29 minutes.  We've got a 4th after 31 minutes!  Becerra again down the left, he's patient and the plays through Juliao who hits in first time.  We're getting alot of chances down our left.  It's 5 in the 45th minute!  This time we attack brilliant down the right, Boxall plays in Hojlund and his shot hits defender de Bruine in the legs and deflects past Castro.  It's 6!  We're just attacking, if Liverpool win the ball back it's just hoofed out and we go again.  Phillips plays over a brilliant ball, Boxall lets it drop and then volleys it past Castro in the 60th minute, brilliant strike.  We were absolutely brilliant, I thought we had a real game on after the early equaliser but it was so one sided, that was Liverpools only shot on target.

1 more win and we're Champions.

April

4ed39efae36eeb8154a51eeb6b68ca32.png

Good month!  Record points still on the cards if Robledo keeps a clean sheet in our last 3 games, he'll have the most clean sheets in a season in Prem history.  He dropped a clanger against Bournemouth though!

Pitchford and Flores start upfront against West Ham, Hubana isn't fully fit after international duty.  Juliao gives us the lead after 40 minutes after a brilliant counter, Pitchford does brilliant to take on the last defender, his shot is saved but Juliao is there to hit into the net.  Flores doubled just before the break, Pitchford again with his pace, dribbles down, hits low across the box, Rovella mishits it and Flores hits in.  That was a good solid win, Pitchford didn't get a goal but he made some very important plays.

Lele, Dekker and Becerra are on holiday resting so we've rotated for the Southampton game.  Boxall puts us ahead after just 11 minutes, he hits in the corner, it's cleared, Tapia picks up, Tremble to Boxall, he moves it to his right foot and curls it round the Southampton goalkeeper.  Boxall doubles after 13 minutes!  Brilliant counter by The Millers, Hojlund to Boxall and it's off the post and in.  Hubana makes it 3 after 22 minutes.  Tapia throws to MacDonald, he crosses in, Kimble heads to Hubana who's in alot of space to volley in.  Hubana is off injured, let's hope it isn't serious.  Hojlund makes it 4, heading in Kimble's cross after 40 minutes.  That was brilliant football to make it 5 - 0!  Pitchford down the right, passes to Hojlund, first touch pass to MacDonald, first touch pass to set up Boxall to hit in for his hat-trick after 51 minutes.  Southampton pull one back in the 55th minute, they hit in a corner, it's headed up, Penetra collects, passes to Guzman on the edge of the box and he hits it first time as it curls past Robledo, quality strike.  Southampton have pulled another back, Vink with a volleyed pass through to Barton, he dribbles down and hits in, I did put 3 youth defenders on to give them experience in the 67th minute.  We played some really good football today.

A single point against Brighton will see us Champions, we're at home but Brighton love to give us a challenge.  Pitchford is off the pitch with a knock but doesn't matter, we take the lead through a set piece, Dekker heading in Boxall's freekick at the back post after 51 minutes.  Brighton were absolutely solid but we managed to break them down in the end.  A good win and we're Champions!

a4e6ee382d8a9911c3196d08229a062e.png

ab5154ff5c36013c79839527950f6a67.png

We've had to make some changes against Villa as we face Inter next in the Champions League and we know they're a good team, we have no right sided striker as Pitchford and Hubana are both injured.  Samu gives Aston Villa the lead with a powerful effort after 14 minutes.  Vilela has come off the bench to score his first Rotherham United goal!  He steals the ball from Jose Marsa, dribbles 30 yards and hits past Bazunu in the 69th minute to equalise!  We ended up being the better side, Vilela hit the bar with a powerful strike near the end but we share the points today.

I've sent a few of the lads on holiday as they're very tired so we've rotated against Bournemouth, we should have enough quality to see this through.  Wow, Becerra put us ahead after 40 minutes, beating in his man in the air and heading in Lele's cross!  That is not something you see everyday! He is 5'4 with 3 jumping reach.  Bournemouth equalise just after the break, Kaio Jorge plays through Mastantuono, Robledo makes an error coming through the ball and it's an easy hit in.  We finally take the lead in the 80 minute!  MacDonald hits in a cross and Neves hits in.  We deserved that, we had so many chances, we hit the bar twice but I feel like it was more four times!

Look at our goal difference .

Hubana has been out injured and Haaland has been on a scoring spree so it looks like he'll just be missing our on the golden boot again.  Haaland has scored 29 in 34, last year he scored 28 in 26, he's a machine.

FA Cup Final

We've not even finished the prem yet, I still have 19th place Hull to face.  We've made the 100 point mark but it wasn't fully certain, I played a youth RWB against Wolves and he was sent off after 7 minutes!  Thankfully we saw it through 1 - 0.

Let's make it 3 FA Cup Final wins in a row.

The line ups:

1f0c93f7a55194f1c80a4b8d4d0932d2.png

Our first 11 is fit and ready to go.  Manchester United have some injuries and suspeisons, Garnacho is out but Urgana and Kroupi quality players.

First half.

Manchester United kick off.

20th minute: We've taken the lead!  There's been nothing in it but Bitshiabu heads in Neves' corner!  Bodin gets a hand to it but it's in!

32nd minute: Brilliant counter by Manchester United after a poor pass from us.  Hickey to Kroupi, he plays through Voss who hammers in.  1 - 1.

35th minute: Phillips shoots low from the edge of the area and it's a huge save from Bodin!

38th minute:  We lose it but win it back, Becerra crosses and Hubana heads over.

41st minute: HUBANAAAAA.  What a mistake!  Bodin from a goalkick, passes to Guehi, he dwells on the ball, Hubana steals and hits in!  That was mental!

a2ecbd3146a24286d2808a55cb626339.png

The Millers kick off the second half.

47th minute: It's good attacking from The Millers and I'm just waiting for someone to pull the trigger, Phillips finally does but it's just wide.

63rd minute: It's scrappy again, Neves wins the ball back, good passing but then it's poor from Holjund, we win it straight back, Juliao shoots and it's a good save from Bodin.  Neves takes the corner, it's cleared to Juliao, to Neves who's offside.

75th minute:  Players are tired, they've worked hard today.  Hubana, Hojlund, Juliao, Neves and Becerra are replacing by Pitchford, Flores, Biffi, Boxall and Tapia.

84th minute: Hickey crosses and Robledo punches out, Boxall picks up and is on the counter, it's Flores, Tapiaa, Boxalls first touch is heavy, Chan takes it but it's Boxall who takes it off Chan, crosses it, Pitchford heads down and Flores hits in!  Surely that's game!

94th minute: Flores hits in the corner but Yoro heads over.

3 IN A ROW!!!

Records to be broke

If we win against 19th placed Hull, we beat Manchester Citys records for most points and most league wins in a season.

If Robledo keeps a clean sheet, he'll beat Alissons record of 24 from 2024/2025.

Hubana would need 4 goals and Haaland to score 0 in Citys last game, sadly I don't think that one is going to happen :D.

vs

0c9d04378d1da06cfade98b82f20fd0e.png

First half:

Bonny kicks off for Wolves.

1st minute: 13 seconds and Hubana scores.  Bonny passes back to Mawissa, his pass is poor, Juliao first time to Hojlund, he plays through Hubana who slots in.  Record points incoming!?

31st minute: Neves heads it, it's blocked, Hubana strikes but it's just wide!

35th minute: Hojlund steals it, plays to Hubana who hits in but he's offside.

40th minute: Looks like Robledo's record is out the window!  Yoro misses the interception, it's across goal and Duquesne hits in to equalise!  They haven't had a sniff all game!

41st minute:  There's a foul!  It's a penalty and Hubana steps up.. it's back to 1 - 2 to The Millers.  Could he gets 4 goals today!?

5be57f2aa32eef842f7064ef2ff7448f.png

The Millers kick off the second half.

48th minute: Is that another penalty!?  We swing in the corner, it's hit out, Juliao back into the box and Hojlund is taken out.  It is!  Hubana steps up and it's in!  CAN HE WIN THE GOLDEN BOOT!?  That was his hat-trick!!!  City are currently 0 - 0!

All subs used and last 10 minutes I'm going attack to try and get Hubana his goal!

City have a goal but it isn't Haaland!

563eace9cfc386d934aeddb19ad0bcca.png

I think Hubana wins it!  He's scored 30 in 31 and Haaland has 30 in 37!!!

End of Premiership

4 goals in a final, that's incredible.  I don't know whether to keep him here next season or try and loan him to a bigger club.  He's improved alot that he's good enough to play here.

Champions League Final

Surely we've favourites here.  It's our 3rd season in a row that we have a chance to win the quadruple, can we finally do it?

c42fd190c6bdff72b3ec2efb9b88b413.png

It's the same team as the FA Cup Final but Kimble is starting over Lele as he has a knock.  I know Tenas is a very good goalkeeper but we have Hubana and hopefully we can get an early goal.

First half.

The Millers kick off with Hubana playing to Becerra.

16th minute: Brilliant passing from Rotherham, it's to Hubana, he turns and strikes but Tenas saves.  It's a corner, Neves takes and it's cleared, Juliao strikes it and another save!  Another corner and Roma clear for a Rotherham throw in.

We're perhaps the better team but it's half time and it's 0 - 0.

470a93c9d47d27029a86878e5ab78522.png

Second half.

A.S Roma kick off.

67th minute: Kimble throws to Neves, back to Kimble, back to Neves, he crosses and Hojlund heads in!  It's 1 - 0 to Rotherham!

71st minute: We keep putting the ball in the box and Roma keep clearing, it nearly goes in for a fluke OG but Tenas saves!  Becerra crosses and Hubana heads in!  Surely this is ours!?  Roma still have an xG of 0.00!

Pitchford, Flores, Tapia and Gamal are replacing Hubana, Hojlund, Becerra and Phillips for the final 15.

78th minute: Neves with a brilliant ball through, Flores hits it first time but Tenas is in a great position and saves.

85th minute: It's brilliant attacking football from Rotherham, Flores with a brilliant 20 yard dribble, all he needs to do is finish it but he blasts it wide!

86th minute:  How did he miss!?  We win it back, Neves plays it over, Flores plays across goal and Pitchford on the volley hits wide, that's shocking.

95th minute: Barra lines up a freekick for Roma, he smashes it and Robledo saves for a corner.  It's all over.

We've finally won it again!!!

WE'VE DONE THE QUAD!

Also.. my 16 year old newgen goalkeeper is in Scotlands WC team, what :D!

What an insane season.  I've never had such a team, I've never had a striker like Hubana and he's just won another award.

I think the aim is to try and win the league with zero defeats?  I've only ever managed that once in my lifetime though .

This save won't end until I see Rotherham United playing in a massive new stadium.

Season 12 - 2034/2035

67f313d47e5f358b09852926ad9f14dd.png

Nothing much has happened, no players have been brought in, the only players to depart are on loan.  15 of 'em.

c4afbcadb24bd3f2becb6fadbe637f34.png

We still have the best backroom.  We've lost Trezeguet, he rejected a new contract to join Liverpool as a scout so I'm looking to replace him.

Potential transfers:

So I found two decent youth prospects, a LB and a CM.  Thing is they both want squad rotation and 50k+ a week, 1 is from Brazil and the other from Japan, it isn't happening.  I'd love a Japanese player in the team after watching them in the 2010 World Cup with Matsui and Honda but I don't think this player is it if he's pricing me out.

The only other play I can find would cost me 40mil, is he worth it?

2d140bfa571acf1f69d08fe0656fdf96.png

I mean the finances are fine.

6f898d67217952015b7e178d81c0c71c.png

But I have a new stadium to think about and how to play him.  If I could try and send MacDonald out on loan or try and sell as it wouldn't take much to make him better in CM but then he still has Biffi, Boxall, Neves and Juliao ahead of him.  I'm really not sure.

3e68bb3a50a6c1e03dfbbdb168f9fa76.png
9cbec7f2624519775efa487c967dd6ae.png

I did try and sell Young and Gregory, I accepted a bid from Palace for Young but he rejected so he's out on loan again.  Next year will be when I try and move the likes of Young, Gregory, Lawal and Quiroga on.  I'd very much like to see Blott, Moreira, Mitrovic, Besic and Abubakar make it here, especially with 3 of them coming through my academy.

This is another thing to how do I fit the above Reis into the team.

Rotherham United captain Becerra just won the World Cup as captain of Peru :D.  He cost me 675k in 2026/2027 and has played over 200 games for Rotherham United so this is amazing :D.

Season Start

We start with a double header against Spurs.  I'm still looking to try and found a youth LWB but this might a year I sign no one.  We've just won the quadruple so it's not like I need anyone.

Community Shield

We've won the last 7, can we make it 8?  We've never played Spurs in the competition and before us they were the last to win it.

Line ups:

7c00678b2bfdbdb02b9f25798878fa78.png

Our first 11 is fit and ready to go, the only absence from the bench is Kimble as he's out injured so youth RWB Vermiglio steps in.

First half:

Spurs kick off.

3rd minute: Spurs look unable to cope with our pressing but they manage to get the ball out and counter, it's a cross from Chol-Min and Spurs go ahead, Dekker has somehow sent the back into his own net!  Spurs take the early lead.

11th minute: It's 2 - 0 to Spurs!  Padez crosses from the right and Chol-Min hit s in.  The defense were asleep there!  What is happening!  This isn't like us!

33rd minute: Becerra is injured, Tapia is replacing and I'm replacing Dekker for Tremble, he's having a shocker.

37th minute: Hojlund turns and plays it to Juliao but his shot is just wide!

44th minute: Phillips hits it but McKenna saves for a corner.  Neves hits in and Hubana heads over.

275a33adf7f03c1bcad41eb29c25cd8f.png

Second half.

The Millers kick off and we have to play better, my word.

55th minute: Gamal, Boxall, Pitchford and Flores replace Lele, Juliao, Hojlund and Hubana.

59th minute: Robledo saves an absolute rocket again us!  Spurs with the corner, we head out.

72nd minute: Gamal is in but his shot is well wide.

Spurs win the Community Shield.  We were horrendous today!

UEFA Super Cup

We're against a team we should really beating.  We've played in this competition 3 times so far, winning all 3.  First again Real Madrid, then against OCG Nice and our last win was against Spurs.

Surely we can make it 4 out of 4 and beat Villarreal?  We need to make up for the Community Shield loss.

Line ups:

0f0cb4756250e9963914a23a0b1ba232.png

We're without Kimble and our star DM Phillips through injury.  I think Gamal can step up though, he's played alot of games for us at DM.

First half:

It's Villarreal who start the match.

17th minute: That's brilliant football from the Miller, good passing all round, Juliao to Hubana who hits in first time.

18th minute: From kick off Becerra steals, we counter and Juliao strikes but it's the post.

19th minute: This is brilliant from The Millers, Hojlund is in but he's taken down!  Hubana steps up.. but his pen is saved by Jorgensen!

42nd minute: Yoro with a brilliant run, ones a one two with Lele, Yoro then plays it to Gamal who strikes, it's takes a deflection and a brilliant save!  Neves with the corner but Jorgensen takes.

43d45753b4b65cbbbc022a55c95b720c.png

We need that 2nd goal.

Second half:

Rotherham United kick off.

55th minute: Neves wins the ball back, plays it to Hojlund, he plays a smart ball through to Neves who slots in!  What a counter, brilliant from Neves!

65th minute: Villarreal have pulled one back!  They play a ball cross the box but Dekker clears, Pau dribbles and isnt' closed down, Juliao gets a leg in but Pau still has it, he plays it to Akmomach who hits a brilliant finish from outside the box.

65th minute: Neves is dropping deeper, Gamal is being replaced by Biffi.  Tapia is replacing Lele at RWB and Bitshiabu is replacing Becerra at LWB.

72nd minute: Tapia plays it into the box, Hubana strikes, it's saved but Hojlund heads in the rebound from about 3 yards out!  3 - 1!

78th minute: What a counter attack!  Hubana plays it out wide to Tapia, he dribbles into the box, round his man and plays a smart ball to the back post for Hojlund to get his brace.

82nd minute: Boxall replaces Juliao and Pitchford replaces Hubana.

94th minute: It's 5!  Biffi plays it to Pitchford, he plays it back, Biffi straight to Boxall who hits in.  We've been amazing in this second half!

August

f82cfd2d8e5d1544e01246ab9daa9b3f.png

We've been solid in the league and we got revenge on Spurs.

We've just lost to Spurs and media have told us it's been 3 games since we've put a goal past Callan McKenna the Spurs GK, seems we need to do it today.  It took 4 minutes to break the streak, Biffi played a ball through to Hubana who hit in after a good Rotherham move. That was a good win, we hit the woodwork twice but we managed the win!

Yoro is still tired from the World Cup so he's on holiday and I've had a rotate some of my tired players, after his performance in the Super Cup, Tapia is starting at RWB.  It's paid off, after a good attacking move, Tapia to Biffi, Biffi shoots and it takes a big deflection but it's in after 18 minutes.  They are at it again!  Biffi plays it out to Dekker, he plays it back to Tapia, to Biffi, he shoots and Williams fumbles it into the net after 50 minutes.  Biffi is fouled in the box!  Biffi for a hat-trick and that is a very nice penalty into the bottom corner after 71 minutes! Biffi was class today!

We have some players returning for the trip to Sunderland but Tapia and Biffi deserve to keep their starting place.  Hojlund is fouled in the box and Hubana puts away the penalty away 19 minutes.  It's great play from Dekker, he intercepts a bad pass and plays it across the box to set up Hubana who scores his brace after 42 minutes.  What a strike from Hubana, Dekker intercepts, dribbles down the middle and plyas it to Hubana.  Hubana sees Cajon not in the best of positions and smashes it from outside the box for his hat-trick after 51 minutes.  Dekker was brilliant today and Hubana was at his best!

GD puts us top.

I let MacDonald go out on loan, he's actually got to Atalanta to play as an important player which shocked me.  Hopefully it'll push his value up.

I did bring in Reis for 36mil.  He could have a brilliant future here.

Goals galore and 4 games in a row on the TV :D,

Bitshiabu is playing at LWB against Fulham as both Tapia and Becerra are out injured but he's played well there when he's had to cover before, I think we'll have enough about us to win.  It's bad all around, a very poor pass from Tremble, Fulham counter, Ayling to Jones and he hits past Robledo after 18 minutes, that isn't the best piece of goalkeeping either.  We draw level just 5 minutes later, Bitshiabu with a cross from the edge of the box and Hubana who missed a sitter earlier makes up for it, heading home.  Biffi gives us the lead after 41 minutes.  He hits in a corner, it's headed out, Gamal picks up, to Juliao who plays first time to Biffi who's in alot of space to dribble and hit in.  It's red!  Ayling with a shocking double footed tackle on Lele, Fulham are down to 10 after 53 minutes.  Flores makes it 3 after a brilliant counter.  It's a bad pass and Vermigilio steals, he runs down the right, gives it to Hubana who plays it across the box and Flores has the goal at his mercy to hit into after 76 minutes.  It's 4 in the 92nd minute, Bitshiabu with some skill down the left, it's crossed in and not cleared properly, Flores tackles and Juliao hits in the loose ball.  That was a good win, Bitshiabu was amazing at LWB!

Bitshiabu starts at LWB as Tapia and Becerra aren't fully fit, Neves starts at DM as Biffi is in good form at MCR and Phillips isn't fully fit, hoping we can give City a game here.  Phillips came on to replace the injured Juliao after 19 minutes and set up Neves to put us 1 - 0 up.  Neves hits in the corner, it's cleared to Lele, he plays it Biffi who plays to Phillips who sets up Neves who smashes in the top corner after 24 minutes.  We're ahead at the break but we need to play better, City have had chances.  It's Neves again though!  Phillips plays a ball over to Lele, he plays it back to Yoro, to Neves who dribbles onto his right and smashes it in from just outside the box after 51 minutes.  Boxall makes it 3 in the 88th minute, Kimble plays it down the right to Flores, he loses it to Gvardiol but wins it straight back, plays it to Boxall who hits in first time.  We had an xG of 0.90 and had 3 shots on target yet won 3 - 0!  Neves was brilliant!

We're without Neves for two months which is a huge loss as he was brilliant against City.  We have players to step up and show Arsenal they're as good as Neves.  It's Juliao after just 3 minutes!  Becerra hits in the corner, it's headed out, Hojlund heads back in, it bounces in the box, no one attacks it and Juliao smashes in the loose ball.  That's 2 - 0 after 18 minutes, Bitshiabu intercepts, we attack with some good passing, Juliao plays through Hubana and he chips the outcoming goalkeeper.  It's 3 after 22!  Biffi sees Kimble outwide in alot of space, he plays it to him, Kimble dribbles down into the box and plays it back to Biffi who smashes in for his 5th league goal of the season!  That was a brilliant win!

Hubana has knock against Liverpool so Pitchford who hasn't been great when coming off the bench starts.  He does have a good partnership with Hojlund though and hopefully he can do a job here.  Liverpool take an early lead, it's exactly how they scored last time against us, crossed to Pino who outjumped Becerra to head in after 5 minutes.  Mendes doubles for Liverpool after 32 minutes, dribbling into the box and hitting in after Echeverri plays it back from the edge of the pitch.  Phillips pulls one back in the 35th minute, heading in Biffi's corner.  It's an equaliser!!!  Tapia crosses and I'm thinking surely Flores is offside, he isn't but the Liverpool defender clears but Flores picks up the loose ball, plays it to Kimble who crosses first time and that man Hubana gets between his two markers and heads in after 91 minutes!  We were lucky, Liverpool were the better side, Lele really needs to pick his game up, I'm glad I have Kimble in form.

Newcastle are not letting us take a point lead!

We beat Newcastle to give us a point lead only to get FM'd by Chelsea to be back on level points :D.

Hubana was injured on international duty so we're without the World Golden Ball winner, Pitchford starts against Newcastle but I need him to pick up form.  That he does!  Good attacking down the left, Hojlund to Juliao, he plays though Pitchford who managed to slot in after just 5 minutes!  Clem equalises for Newcastle after 28 minutes.  Dekker wins the ball back he's too sloppy and Kumagawa takes it back off him, Newcastle pass the ball around quickly and Clem does Biffi and smashes past Robledo.  What a strik!  Juliao with a 25 yard screamer that hits the post and goes in after 32 minutes to give us back the lead.  We have a shout for pen!  I thought it was a good tackle but Allgower is deemed to have taken down Hojlund.  It's Juliao from the spot!  It's saved after 38 minutes, still 2 - 1.  We've had a really good first half, continue this is the second and we should win.  Juliao gets his brace after finishing off a good move and a good through ball from Becerra after 50 minutes.  It's 4 after 52 minutes, Juliao plays it outwide to Kimble, it isn't the best pass but Kimble uses his skill to pick it up and taken on his man, he dribbles down the right, crosses in and Hojlund heads in.  What an brillint win!

Hubana returns against Chelasea, Becerra has a knock so Tapia starts.  We usually do well against Chelsea so let's hope it continues.  We've had all the chances but Chelsea take the lead, Chelsea counter, Baidoo plays to Caicedo on the edge of the box who strikes it and it takes a deflection into the corner after 68 minutes.  I feel we just got FM'd, our finishing was poor!  Trubin was MOTM and Hubana had a game to forget.  15 shots vs 4, 1.72xG vs 0.24xG and we go back to Rotherham pointless.

Newcastle aren't giving up.

November

That was a good month, turns out we broke a record in the Champions League.

dd929bc1b46313f430394826c2c5ae9d.png

This is been my longest FM save ever .

Manchester United aren't in brilliant form and we need to take advantage of that.  Tremble heading a corner onto the woodwork earlier into the game puts us 1 - 0 up after 17 minutes, heading in a corner with the aid of the woodwork.  That's a huge mistake at the back from Man Utd, Hubana steals, play it to Hojlund, he takes on Payton but Payton recovers and takes the ball from Hojlund, he passes across and Hubana says thanks, intercepts and hits in after 61 minutes.  That was a deserved win, Man Utd didn't manage a shot on target.

Forest are 20th and we're at home, we should be able to win this one easily.  Forest take the lead ater 7 minutes, Lele wins the ball but doesn't clear, Forest attack quickly and Fanger strikes it with real venom and it deflects past Robledo.  Juliao has missed two absolute sitters but Hojlund equalises in the 19th minute after Biffi hits in the freekick, Lele picks up, dribbles round, plays it across goal where Hojlund has an easy hit in.  Oh that was a good hit, we attack, Phillips plays it outwide to Lele, he cuts in and smashes it, it rises above the Forest GK and in after 28 minutes.  It's 3 in the 43rd minute, Juliao wins it back, Biffi plays it to Hojlund, he's smart and waits for the run of Hubana, plays it through to him and Hubana hits in.  Hojlund makes it 4 after 94 minutes, Abulai plays it to Hubana, he plays through Hojlund who slots low into the corner.  35 shots, 12 on target, 4.95xG and if we our shooting wasn't so wasteful it could have been our biggest ever win, especially Juliao, he missed some absolute sitters!

Bitshiabu was injured on international duty but Tremble has been playing in his place. In positive news Joao Neves has returned, Portugal have given him some match fitness where he scored so he starts against West Ham!  How did Hubana miss that, he's about 6 yard out, pretty much open net and he hads it onto the bar, he's struggling since his return from injury, even on international duty he struggled. It was a bad pass from Tremble, West Ham countered but thankfully Caron was offside!  It's Biffi!  Becerra wins it, dribbles into the middle of the pkar, plays it to Biffi, he dribbles into the box and it's a deflection that gives us the lead after 82 minutes!  West Ham equalise in the 90th minute!!! Silveira heads in Rovella's corner!  We should have probably won but it's a draw.

Newcastle thankfully slipped up and drew against Villa so we're still ahead on GD.

This isn't something I was expecting, we do lose in the Champions League but it seems we're on a streak.

Robledo was AMAZING.  Saved a pen and a clear cut chance before we took the lead, he made even more big saves, put their key striker off late on who looked like he was going to equalise.  Proper GK.

Next Month

This should be a good month, there's enough games we should be winning and we always seem to do well in the winter months.  We will need to rotate alot and we have a couple of injuries.  This could be a brilliant month like December usually is or we'll see Newcastle take the summit.

December

a4b0a3c77ae06bd1c4437926ac04fe78.png

Such an odd month, we either had chances and struggled infront of goal or we were very clinical!

Home against Leeds, we have to win this one.  It's half time and neither team has had a shot on target, Boxall should have buried his chance but he skied it. Ohhhh Lele!  We hit in a corner but Leeds clear, we collect the loose ball, it's our defenders passing it around the edge of their box and Lele just smahses it from the edge of the box, it's a brilliant strike after 55 minutes.  We had alot of chances, 23 shots, only 8 on target and an xG of 2.78 vs Leeds who had 1 shot, 1 on target and a 0.00xG and it took a wonder goal to win, our finishing is letting us down at the moment.

Another Yorkshire match, this time against Sheffield United and it's another game we should be winning.  Lele looked like he won the ball to me but the ref has gone to VAR and thankfully it isn't a penalty!  This time it is a penalty as Tremble takes down his man and Sheff Utd take the lead after 42 minutes, they haven't had a sniff all game but we're behind.  Hojlund equalises in the 47th minute after hitting in a first shot time.  Hubanas pass through to set him up was sublime.  Juliao gives us the lead after hitting in from just inside the box, it hit the bar and bouced in after 53 minutes.  Is there a foul?  There isn't and Hojlund makes it 3, we hit in a corner, it's cleared back to Neves, he hits into the box, Tremble blocks his man and Hojlund gets a brace after 62 minutes.  Gamal makes it 4 after 79 minutes.  Tapia with the ball down the left, back to Dias Quitar, he hits a pass to Gamal on the edge of the box, Gamal dribbles just inside the box and smashes in.  Hojlund gets his hat-trick in the 88th minute after heading in Pitchford's cross.  We were brilliant in the 2nd half, 5 goals, so many chances and Sheff Utd didn't manage a shot.  In fact the pen was the only shot they had all game.

I've had to rotate against Villa so I'm hoping Boxall and Biffi perform in midfield.  Do we have a pen?  Biffi is taken down in the 3rd minute.  Yes it is!  Hubana slots low into the corner past Bazunu after 4 minutes!  Brilliant strike after a great move and we're 2 - 0!  Hubana plays it out to Lele, he dribbles into the box, plays it back to Phillips who thumps it first time into the net after 24 minutes.  Boxall makes it 3 after 28 minutes after a great strike finishing off a great move!  This is brilliant football from The Millers!  Villa pull one back just before the break, Lele tackles Sanitago but Fionuke picks it up, plays it back to Sanitago, he hits it across the box to find England International Swann who hits in after 45+2.  Flores has come off the bench to make it 4, good attacking down the right, Lele crosses and Flores nods in at the near post after 71 minutes.  Some brilliant football from The Millers today and some great finishing.  Lele was at his best.

I'm having to rotate again against Crystal Palace, Dekker and Yoro both need resting, Bitshiabu makes his return and youngster Dias Quitar starts again, he's been quite impressive this season.  We've had the possession, the chances but we go in at half time level, our shooting has been wasteful.  It's Palace who take the lead, a ball over the top by Essama, Soumah beats the offside trap and hits in after 48 minutes.  Flores equalises in ther 68th minute, Dias Quiatar hits a ball down the right, Lele hits into the box and Flores smashes in.  Not good enough, we had the chances but our shooting was woeful!

Boxall gives us the lead after just 2 minutes against Brighton!  He hits in the corner, it's cleared, Juliao plays it back to him, he has time to cut in, dribble and curl past Raggi.  It's Juliao who makes it 2 after 28 minutes.  Good attacking, Becerra plays it to Juliao who dribbles into the box and strikes it well, that's much better finishing from Juliao.  Hojlund makes it 3 after 34 minutes!  Lele it to Juliao but he's tackled, the ball halls to Hubana who plays through Hojlund who strikes well from just outside the box.  What a brilliant first half!  This is the type of finishing we've been missing!  It's an own goal and 3 - 1!  Gilmour dribbles down the left, crosses in and Dekker hits in for an O.G after 67 minutes!  Can Brighton make a comeback?  They didn't have a chance after, we were good today.

Brentford are 20th and haven't won all season so I feel safe to make big changes and let some youth play a Prem game.  Vilela puts us ahead after 12 minutes!  Tapia crosses from the left, it takes a deflection and Vilela is there to hit in.  The result was never in doubt, Brentford didn't have a shot on target.  We had chances to score more and it would have been nice.

Southampton were doing well but they're now 20th in the form table and we're at home, we should be winning this.  It's an early goal to The Millers, Neves plays it to the feet of Hubana, he turns and does his marker, dribbles and absolutely smashes it in to give us the lead after 5 minutes.  Hubana doubles after 20 minutes!  He dribbles from the half way line and from about 20 yards out smashes it low, the goalkeeper manages to get a hand to it but it's in!  It's 3 in the 27th!  Kimble hits an early cross, Hubana flicks on and Hojlund heads in!  Neves makes it 4 after 48 minutes.  Yoro hits a ball down the right, Hubana picks it up in the box, plays it to Neves in space who hits in.  Is that a pen!?  Vermiglio crosses and Boxall is pushed to the floor!  It's Hubana who steps up and smashes in for his hat-trick after 67 minutes.  He's got a 4th and it's 6 - 0!  Hubana heads in Boxalls corner after 85 minutes.  Biffi makes it 7 after 87!  Bitshiabu plays it across to Vermigilio who hits it first time to Biffi in the box who hits in first time.  Hojlund makes it 8 after 94 minutes!  Good passing from the Millers, Vermiglio dribbles into the box, plays it across goal and Hojlund hits in.  What a win!!!

Newcastle have lost 2 and drawn 1 this month where we've only slipped up by drawing once so we have some breathing room.

Alot of difficult games and we'll need to be at our best.

We have alot of players that clubs are interested in, West Ham have already big 106mil(most of it being bonuses) for Robledo which is insulting for the best goalkeeper in the world.

Rumours are Spurs want to bid for Pitchford and are lining up for a £117mil bid.  I'd drive him there myself for that .

January

9a514fbb3c01add891c2d7f756c20e50.png

We've had a few injuries and some players leave but we've grinded out results, we've been solid and we've played some good football.

Hoping we can keep our good form up against Everton who shocked Newcastle last month, beating them 2 - 1.  Neves has to come off with a foot injury, that doesn't look good.  Hubana gives us the lead after 42 minutes and it's well deserves.  Lele pulls off a trick and passes to Boxall, he plays it across to Hubana where it takes a deflection and Hubana hits in.  Ohh what a strike Boxall!  He hits it from 25 yards and it crashes off the crossbar and in after 45+5!  Juliao makes it 3 after 53 minutes.  It's hit outwide to Becerra, he dribbles down the left, cuts in, plays to Juliao who puts it onto his right foot and smashes in.  Everton have scored a 95th goal!  It's their first shot all game!  Tapia gets robbed but Everton play it back and then across the other side of the pitch, Kitenge plays it through the middle to Lee who finishes off a quick attack.  I made too many defensive subs at the end to leave us that open but that was a good win!

We're without Hubana who's out for a couple of weeks but we have just absolutely battered West Ham without him and hopefully we can continue into the game against Spurs.  It's lucky but we're ahead after 63 minutes!  Biffi hits a freekick down the right to Yoro, he plays it back to Biffi, he shoots into the crowd, there's a block, a deflection and it falls to Boxall to hit in, lucky!  Vilela is fouled!  Is it in the box!?  Sadly it's JUST out.  A game that lacked quality but we stopped Spurs even having a shot on target.

Gamal looks like he's on the move to Manchester United as I won't meed his contract demands, Phillips is injured so Quiroga is recalled from loan and starts against Fulham.  Kimble scores against his former club after just 13 minutes to give us the lead.  Fulham equalise in the 19th minute with Collins heading in Curtis Jones' corner.  Flores has come off the bench to to put us back ahead after a brilliant through ball by Becerra, Flores beats the on rushing goalkeeper to hit in after 67 minutes.  Flores seals the victory in the 93rd minute, dribbling past his marker and smashing in after 93 minutes.

Quiroga signed in 2030/31 and it's now 34/35, it took basically 4 years for his debut .

We're flying high at the top!

So we've had a busy window.

Neves was on 275k a week and had 16 months left on his contract so I chose to cash in, he's gone to Barcelona for less than I was paying him but we've not missed him so far.  He did his job in tutoring the players I wanted him too but I'm happy for Boxall and Biffi to play in his place.

Gamal is an odd one, he's of the OG homegrown players and I didn't want him to leave, he's a good squad player but he wanted £200k a week and it was not happening, I ended contracts talks and offered him out.  He's gone to Man Utd for 155k a week which I would have paid him.  I think £60mil is good business though.

I've brought 4 players in and 2 of them were the players I wanted in the summer and they've come for alot less wage!

First we have Aime who's a squad player being retrained at MC and still has alot of potential!  Absolute steal for £10mil.

a60a715f034d6853e9b1142ea0258cfa.png

Matsumoto has alot of work to do but he's being trained to be a future MC for us aswell.

7db91b76071814e85de66550225f67f2.png

Jonatan is full of flaws, I mean just look at his marking, passing and tackle but we have a World Class LWB to help mentor him.  Can he reach his potential?

a4e9aea9dbe02f71c644cc6718dbbac5.png

Kevin "Bulldozer" Buchholzer.  He needs to work on his strength but he's a 6'5 BWM who can fill in at CB, he could be a big player in the future.

bbc7c304d51356421df51a0916ee9539.png

I had a bid accepted for another youth CM who's on loan from Roma at Mainz but the deal didn't go through in time which is a shame.  He looked decent.

And I guess the not new signing but someone who'll be our 2nd DM for the rest of the season.

3878f5701d9190fd20596a7df6d201ed.png

He's played well in his 3 games for us so far and I do like he's good with both feet and can win a header.

I've bought 76mil worth of players this season and sold 161mil and will be looking to make bank in the summer since we have a new stadium to prepare for.

Carabao Cup Final

We've won the last 5 finals, the last team before that that won the competition was City who beat us in the final.  We're on a 23 Carabao Cup match winning run and it's been 41 games since we've lost.

Spurs did end our Community Shield run so we need to make sure they don't do it here.

The line ups:

46cc3ab3d051f630212c3b98f76b0a5d.png

We're without Yoro our main RCB as he picked up an injury against Newcastle and is out for 4 - 5 months, it's a huge blow.  I'm shocked Warburton isn't starting at LB, he's a brilliant player.

First half.

The Millers get us started here at Wembley.

5th minute: It's quick attacking from both teams looking for an early goal.  Phillips wins the ball, dribbles into the box but fires into the side netting.

16th: We nearly fluked a goal!  Becerra does amazing down the left, past him man, dribbles into the box and hits it, it's hits a Spurs defender, hits off our attacker and onto the post!  McKenna gathers.  So close.

40th minute: A big chance.  Spurs clear but we pick up, Boxall crosses and Hojlund is free but it's a poor header and well over.

45+2: Is that onside!?  A brilliant ball out to Lele who hits an even better ball into the box.  Hubana smashes it first time and it is onside!  We're deservedly ahead!

db97e61452d51c1f2b6ec16041c596ac.png

Second half:

Spurs kick off.

48th minute: What about that one!?  is that onside!? Phillips plays it to Juliao, his first time touch takes it past his man, he hits into the box and Hubana hits in!  2 - 0!

59th minute: Phillips hits it from 30 yards and it's off the bar!  That was a crackin' strike, unlucky.

Tapia and Flores replace Hojlund and Becerra in the 70th minute.

79th minute: It's 3 - 0!  Lele throws in to Boxall, back to Lele, he dribbles past him man, finds Boxall in the box who has acres of space around him and acres of space to aim at.

6 in a row!

Spurs didn't have a shot on target.

We love the Carabao Cup :D.

We've won 7 finals and lost 2.  Compared to the FA Cup we've won 4 and lost 3 and the Champions League we've won 3 and lost 2.  Why is the Carabao Cup the special one .

February

5ac48a71466b5f32716ff4d5e4f12c78.png

This might have been the best month I've had on this save.  We've been brilliant, in the one game we weren't(Newcastle) we were solid instead.

We're away at Arsenal to start this tough month, a team that are doing much better this season.  Hubana gives us the lead after 25 minutes!  Boxall feeds a ball through and Kaiky doesn't track the run of Hubana and then makes a poor tackle, Hubana is in acres of space and finishes easily past del Castillo.  Aime comes off the bench to score his first Rotherham United goal!  It's a quick attack from back to front, Tremble to Quiroga, he finds Hubana who is deeper, he plays it to Biffi who plays a first time through ball to Aime.  Aime dribbles through and slots in after 80 minutes.  That was a lovely team goal.  Arsenal have one back in the 88th!  A quick counter, Saka plays it to Martinelli and he feeds through Nwaneri who slots in!  We return back to Yorkshire with all 3 points!

Aime has picked up a knock and was due to start so I'm giving Reis a game since he's the future.  Hubana gives us the lead after 37 minutes!  Quiroga hits a ball down the left for Tapia to run onto, he crosses across goal and Hubana hits in.  Is that a penalty!?  Flores hits in a freekick and Kimble is taken down to the ground!  Hubana steps up and it's the post!  He's absolutely smashed in the last couple, I'm not sure why he didn't do the same!  Hojlund comes off the bench to make it 2 - 0 after 79 minutes.  Boxall plays a smart freekick to Tapia, he smashes it, the keeper dives but it hits the post and falls to Hojlund to hit into an empty net.  Hojlund gets a brace after heading in Boxalls cross after 87 minutes.  He's got a hat-trick from the bench!  Lele intercepts a poor ball, hits it down to Pitchford, he plays it to Hojlund who moves it onto his left foot and hits in after 96 minutes!

We're 1st in the form table and have the best defense in the league but Liverpool know how to score against us.  JULAIO HEADS IN!  My 5'5 4 jumping reach CM just scored a header!  Lele crosses and Julaio heads in as Edwards come out to catch the ball and misses after 15 minutes!  Becerra makes it 2 - 0 after 20!  We hit in a corner and it's clear to Hojlund, he plays it across to Becerra who dribbles into the box and fires low.  Edwards is a new goalkeeper to me, he's a 26 year old American newgen who's Liverpools first team goalkeeper and his average rating in 24 games is 6.69 with only 3 clean sheets, ouch!  Boxall heads in Becerra's cross after 42 minutes to make it 3 - 0.  3 shots on target, 3 goals.  Edwards isn't having a good time.  Hubana makes it 4 after 49 minutes.  Liverpool clear, Yoro wins the header, Phillips hits a ball over to Boxall who heads to Hubana who's in miles of space to smash past the GK, you can't blame Edwards for that one.  Liverpool have finally had a shot and it's a goal, it's 4 - 1!  Antonio Silva heads in Szoboszlai's corner.  Edwards is lucky to not be punished again!  Lele crosses, Edwards comes out for it and misses it but Pitchford heads onto the bar!  5.6 rating!!!  My word Liverpool were not good but that GK was poor!

City are in poor form and Spike Brits is now their starting GK!  That GK I once smashed 5 against.  Let's try and do it again!  Hubana scored a 25 yard screamer in just the 4th minute.  He steals it off Swedberg and smashes it!  City equalise in the 9th minute!  Adams let's one fly from the edge of the box and it's in the top corner, proper hit.  What is this game!  Juliao wins the ball back from Swedberg, plays it to Hojlund and he smashes one in from the edge of the box after 20 minutes!  Becerra tried one from 25 yards but Brits saved!  Boxall makes it 3 after 27 minutes!  Phillips plays it outwide to Becerra, he hits it across and Hojlund is about 3 yards out but Brits is straight infront of him and denies but Boxall hits in the rebound as he's free about 4 yards out.  That is a smart goal, it's 4 - 1 in 45+4.  Hubana takes a freekick to Hojlund who's free, he hits a smart past to Becerra and no one is tracking him!  He's free to hit past Brits.  What a first half.  Theo Ball didn't even start for City, whoever their manager is needs sacking.  He's a newgen DLP-DM that's probably the level of Prime Pirlo.  That was an easy win, for the players City have, their formation and play positioning makes no sense to me!  I'll take it!

We're away at Newcastle, 2nd in the league and trying to challenge for the title but they have to get through us.  It's some very good passing from The Millers, Tremble hits it outwide to Becerra who volleys into the box and his ball finds Hubana free to head in after just 4 minutes.  A game without much quality but Newcastle offered no threat.  We've lost Yoro for 4 - 5 months through injury though, that's a big loss.

Really big blow, he's our RCB and he's quality.

We have tired players and a cup final next so I've had to rotate against Chelsea but we're at home and we should get revenge for our away loss.  We've had so many chances in the first half and Dekker finally puts us ahead heading in Biffi's corner after 44 minutes.  Now Hojlund is off with an injury, hopefully he'll be fine for the cup final.  That was a good move and it's 2 - 0!  Lele plays it to Biffi in the box, he plays it back.  Lele out to Quiroga who plays a brilliant ball into the path of Tapia who's inside the box on the left.  Tapia volleys in to finish the move after 75 minutes.  There's a red card and it's to Chelsea!  Gonzalez the Chelsea CB has been the only player booked in the entire game, he's just got a 2nd yellow in the 82nd minute.  It's 3 in the 94th minute after a brilliant counter, Dias Quitar wins the ball, Quiroga hits a brilliant ball down the left, Boxall collects and smashes a low ball into the box where he finds Biffi who smashes in.  We were quality, 3.31xG vs 0.05.

We're Champions already, we're 20 points clear.

March

dd0b402523acedae651eedd00877bc9f.png

Reality hit us.  Our finishing against Forest, PSG at home and West Ham was comical.  Our FA Cup and Champions League winning streaks both came to an end.

Our former DM Gamal only makes the bench in our game vs Manchester United, their not in great form but they still have class players who can cause us problems.  WHAT A GOAL.  Phillips gives us the lead after 6 minutes, absolutely smashing in a 25 yarder after taking on his marker, quality!  What a ball from Phillips!  He plays a ball over the top to find Hojlund who's onside and hits in to make it 2 - 0 after 12 minutes!  Phillips is having an absolute storming game!  It's a penalty to The Millers!  Hojlund intercepts a bad pass, takes on one defender and Guehi pulls him back!  Hubana steps up... and he hits low!  3 - 0 after 21 minutes!  This is brilliant!  Hojlund makes it 4 after 47 minutes!  Lele intercepts a bad pass, plays a one two with Hubana, plays it back to Hubana who hits across goal and Hojlund has the goal at his mercy.  Now that's a hit!  Garnacho pulls one back in the 91st minute from the edge of the box following a corner for Man Utd.  We were quality today!

Nottingham Forest have a new manager, Mason Mount.  It's his first non-playing role and he's drawn his first game in charge, can we make his 2nd a loss?  Biffi is out injured and there's some rotation to be made as the Nottingham Forest game falls inbetween the PSG matches.  Hubana and Hojlund start and I'd love for them to get more goals towards challenging for the golden boot.  Well, we had 23 shots, an xG of 2.30 and my word our finishing was woeful, what happened!  We've been amazing in recent weeks!  Looks like Mason is 2/2 for draws.

We have some tired players after that 120 minute battle against Spurs!  Let's see if we can battle through against 2nd in the league West Ham!  West Ham take the lead in the 58th minute.  It's their first shot all game, Tremble tackles Hartel but the ball falls to von Schwedler to hit in, a bit lucky.  We deserverdly eqauslise in the 71st minute!  Biffi hits in the corner, it's headed out and Quiroga on the volley curls a perfect ball to Pitchford who hits one, it's off the post and in!  My 15 year old youth player just dribbled 30 yards and only just missed, what a debut that would have been! West Ham with their 2nd shot take the lead back!  Tremble with a poor ball, von Schwedler steals, dribbles down the right, plays it to Hartel who finds Joao Gomes in space to hit in after 79 minutes.  We've equalised, deserved again!  Biffi hits in the corner, it's cleared, Quiroga hits it, it's blocked and Tapia smashes in the half volley in the 90th minute!  HOW DID HOJLUND MISS THAT!  We should have won at the very end!  Poor finishing and poor defending cost us today, we were by far the better side.  My 15 year old played pretty well.

206a5bea3fe4d0f22e8f9e5826aed400.png

We broke another record that came to an end we drew to bottom of the league Forest :D.

Where on earth does Dai Yongge think we have that sort of money to spend .  We're still very much a selling club and because we are we can afford to keep our best players.

We're 15 points clear with 7 to go, it'd take some sort of disaster to mess this up.

Not an easy draw next either.

FA Cup

It was a close game but we had chances to put this one away.  Robledo made up for his earlier mistake by saving two pens to take us through to the semi final.

Youth intake

He is the future if we get those physical stats up.

Amoako looks interesting, he's a playmaker and has some quality stats for 16.  I'm hoping he can make it here.

675be2c1ac737760890e20eb269f9546.png

Shame about his bravery but Kimble doesn't have the best bravery and is a solid RWB.  Vardy is absolutely one for the future at LWB.

All 3 look like they could make it to the first team here and all 3 will be full internationals if they hit their potential.  It's a really exciting intake.  Probably the best I've ever had on any FM save.

2 academy players and 2 youth I've brought in.  Wu Runze could be higher next year, he looks like he has the potential to be an England Interntional CB.  Braithwaite looks quality as a AF or Winger, shame we don't play either.

April

Considering the amount of injuries we've had, it's been a brilliant month.

3d356c4743be57ff849db45cbb193bc3.png

We head into our final month without Yoro, Hojlund and Lele.  Kimble will be back for the Real game, Phillips won't.

We have some tired players and a couple of injuries after the international break so I'm having to rotate which includes Hojlund only managing to make the bench which is a blow but he'll be fit for the Inter game. Tapia starts at RWB as Lele is recovering from a knock and Kimble is out for up to 6 weeks.  If the results go our way, we'll be Champions today.  There's a mistake at the back from Leeds!  Tapia puts pressure on Amo-Ameyaw, Hubana steals the ball off him, plays through Flores who slots in after just 3 minutes!  We double the lead after 37 minutes!  Boxall hits in the corner, Bitshiabu flicks it on, Dekker heads it against the bar and Phillips is first to the loose ball to hit in!  We've been in total control in this first half, Leeds haven't even had a shot and they're at home! Leeds have pulled one back!  It's a counter, a long ball over to Amo-Ameyaw, he crosses in to nobody and Bitshiabu just heads it out straight to Aguiar who hits past Robledo after 72 minutes, that was so bad from Bitshiabu!  There's a big blow as Phillips leaves the field injury right before the Inter game.  Pitchford seals the points after 86 minutes, we hit in the corner and it's cleared, we're heading in about, Leeds are heading it out, we're heading it back in, Flores hits over from the right and Pitchford heads in.  That was a good win but if we'd of finished our chances we could of had 6!

Another game where I'm having to rotate, we had the chances against Inter but didn't get the job done so I need everyone fit for the 2nd leg.  We're at home against Sheff Utd and should really win.  There's a mistake at the back!  Tapia hits a long ball, McConnell intercepts but he dwells on it and Pitchford robs him and then slots under the keeper, we take the lead after 42 minutes!  We double after 53 minutes!  Tapia is first to a loose header, he takes on his man, plays a low ball to Flores who hits into the bottom corner with a good close strike.  Sheff Utd pull one back after 64 minutes!  Former Miller Watson throws in, it's passed back to him, he dribbles into the box, plays a one-two and then hits it across goal where Onurhan hits in at the back post. We score just 2 minutes later to make it 3 - 1!  Abudlai wins the ball back, plays it to Aime, he's tackled but collects the loose ball, dribbles into the box and hits in.  That was a solid win and an old favourite of mine Dave Watson had a crackin' game for Sheff Utd.

Tapia starts at RWB as Lele and Kimble are injured, we've not far from having an injury crisis.  We're currently without 5 main players but atleast we're playing well.  1 point against Villa and we're Champions.  It's an 88th goal and it's Hubana who heads in!  Quiroga wins the ball, hits it upfield and Boxall wins it, it's with Vilela who dribbles half the pitch, goes down the left and crosses in where he finds Hubana at the back post.  Brilliant counter.  Dekker should have put us ahead early on and Swann should have scored for Villa at the end but we win and we're Champions!

Since we're Champions I can rotate massively against Crystal Palace so my best players aren't injured are fit and ready to face Real.  It's Palace who take the lead, Soumah hits a ball to Atum, he dribbles down the middle and Verdugo misses the header as he chips over and Nuamah volleys in after 26 minutes.  Tremble equalises after 39 minutes, heading in Boxalls corner.  That was terrible!  We're on the counter, we're 4 v 4 and Tapia plays such a bad ball to Boxall, Palace counter, Soumah plays it across goal and Sousa hits in after 50 minutes.  That was smart!  Dias Quitar playus it to Aime, he dribbles into the box and then plays a smart trick pass into the path of Vermilgio who smashes in his first senior goal after 63 minutes.  We're head!  Boxall hits in the corner, it's headed out and Vermiglio picks up, he finds Aime in space on the right and he hits in after 66 minutes.  Is that a penalty!?  Is so I feel that's harsh!  It is!  Boxall goes down on the edge of the box and Reis hits in after 83 minutes to make it 4 - 2.  Brilliant win considering I had youth on to start and on the bench, even Jonatan came off the bench instead of Becerra to make his Rotherham United debut.

We could finish with over 100 points again which would be class.

OH YEAH, we're Champions .

We battered Inter, we hit the woodwork twice, missed massive changes and then Febbrari smashed in a 28 yarder.  It was a brilliant strike!  Inters only shot on target!  It was so good.

We were lethal at home though.  Absolutely quality from start to finish.  Losing Hojlund for 3 months though was gutting.

Real is as tough as they come.  Inter were unbeaten in 20 and have only lost twice in Serie A so if we can beat them, I think we can beat Real.

As a Rotherham United fan I still call this the Pizza Cup after Warne won it.  U21 Manager Darren Moore has won it with our youth squad :D.

We don't have the income of the big clubs and I've made alot of money through player sales, this shows why we need to keep buying youth and selling for more and why Dai has ideas above his station with that transfer budget he gives me.

International Debuts

Soon to be club grown Dias Quitar has made his Brazil debut and has been filling in for Yoro and has done really well.

January purchase Aime has alot made his debut and Tevez is the Argentina manager!  That's cool!

We're still on for another quad.  Only the Cup games are important, if I have to play youth and we lose in the league, that's fine.  There aren't any records we can break.  Just hoping Hubana wins the golden boot.

It should be a good final.

First though, it's the FA Cup Final vs West Ham.

FA Cup Final

I have 4 main strikers, 2 are out and 1 has a knock.  We've won the last 3 FA Cup Finals and I'd love to make it 4 but I don't think we're favourites this time.

Last time we faced West Ham we did batter them but we ended up drawing, if we improve our finishing maybe we will win this.

Line ups:

514ff517a922d3db5e0f4f0ca033207b.png

West Ham have such a good team.  Silveira is the best CB in the world, Caron is an amazing flair winger and Hartel is an absolute elite level advanced forward.

We have Hubana though.

First Half.

The Millers get the FA Cup underway.

9th minute: Rios hits in a corner for West Ham, Tremble heads clear, Brossard picks up, he plays it back and Lima kicks it up, we win the ball back, we're countering, Flores has it, Becerra, plays in Juliao and my word!  WHAT A MISS!

14th minute: Boxall replaces the injured Juliao.

21st minute: Hartel tries a long shot but it isn't pretty.

25th minute: Lele wins the ball back, we counter and Biffi is through and my word, another sitter!  What are my midfield doing today!

36th: Talking about my midfield.  Phillips just decided to try and injure his opponent with a horrendous two-footed tackle.  He's off, we're down to 10 after 36 minute.  Quiroga is replacing Hubana has he is also injured so we have 1 upfront.

My midfield have massively let us down so far today.

3cd0247b860b6cce1e96199493bab51f.png

Second half:

West Ham kick off.

60th minute: Aime replaces Biffi, Vilela replaces Flores and Tapia is on for Lele.

84th minute: Tremble wins the ball back and we counter.  Aime dribbles into the box and fires just wide!

93rd minute: Ferreira sees Robledo off his line and tries a 40 yarder but it's over.

95th minute: Brilliant passing from The Millers, Tapia dribbles into the box and forces a good save from Lima!  Boxall with the corner and it's headed clear.

It's extra time.

ET first half.

95th minute: Aime hits a freekick and Lima has to get across to save!  Becerra with the corner, Tremble flicks on, West Ham hit it up and Quiroga heads over.

ET second half.

108th minute: We have a freekick on the edge of the West Ham box.  Becerra steps over, he hits it to the back post, Bitshiabu heads it, it's the post!  Quiroga with the rebound and the post again!!! What was that!

110th minute: Rovella hits a 30 yarder and Robledo has to get across to deny.  Good strike.  Barco with the corner and Tremble clears.  Plonka picks up, into Patterson and it's another West Ham corner.  Barco again, it's to the edge of the box, it hits Bitshiabu but it's offside from Caron.

121st minute: Ferreira tries another long shot and it's over.

It's a penalty shoot out.

Even with 10 men, how did we not win this .

West Ham take the first pen.

It's Barco... just past Robledo!

Vilela... Lima goes the right way but no chance.

Joao Gomes... slotted into the corner, Robledo went the wrong way.

Becerra... Lima saves!

Plonka... sends Robledo the wrong way!

Boxall... Lima saves!

Rovella... WEST HAM WIN THE FA CUP.

My midfield need sacking, the absolute lot of them.  Sitters missed and then a red card.

Juliao is a doubt for the Champions League final, Hubana will be fine.

Champions League Final

I upset my team it seems .  I said it's a game we should be winning and supposedly we're not on Spurs level and according to pre-match Spurs are favourites.  We've won our last 4 games against Spurs and finished 30 points above them in the league :D.  Will it be different because we're playing them in Germany? Nah .

The line ups:

825e61c3842d175586bc3462d869cc78.png

Juliao and Pitchford make the bench but they have knocks.  Alot of my players aren't fully fit but I know we can beat Spurs!

First half:

Spurs start the Champions League Final.

15th minute: Kjaergaard tries a 25 yarder freekick and Robledo manages to tip over.  What a strike!  Spurs with the corner, Mannsverk swings in and Tremble heads out.  Chol-Min picks up, we clear.

22nd minute: Tremble goes on a run, crosses and Hubana heads over.

45th minute: Duranville hits in a corner and Kjaegaard heads in but Zedda is straight infront of Robledo and it's called for offside.

0bdc9a7c6a2fa06136ca2bc90af1300c.png

Second half.

The Millers kick off and need to play their own game!

61st minute: Kimble replaces Lele.

70th minute: Tapia is on for Becerra.  Flores is being replaced by Pitchford and Aime replaces Boxall.

There's been no quality in this game!

6d8db92bc2754f18aebb07e31d2a2bdc.png

Vilela replaces Hubana and Juliao replaces Biffi as we enter extra time.

First half extra time:

Time to try my attacking tactic as this game has nothing happening.

107th minute: Pitchford hits in a corner, it's cleared, it's played back to Pitchford, he dribbles into the box and fires in but he's offside.. is he? I don't know about that time ref!

114th minute: We're down to 10 as Kimble is injured.

It's pens, what a terrible game :D.

We take first.

Juliao steps up... it the corner!

Bergvall.. Robledo saves!

Phillips... smashes into the corner!

Sarr... smashed past Robledo!

Vilela... sends McKenna the wrong way!

Paez... cheeky pen, it's in!

Aime... smashed down the middle!  McKenna dove!

Manioo... Robledo saves!!!

WE'RE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNERS.

TWO IN A ROW!!! FOUR TIMES IN SEVEN YEARS!!!

Peng, Moreira and Gregory helped Bournemouth win the Championship and Young won the Scottish Cup.  All I see is money though as I'm willing to sell all 4 of them :D.

We lost nearly a 1million followrs due to the FA Cup loss?.  I think we're back at being the biggest club in the world.

I'm not sure what the summer will hold.  I have loan players due back I'm happy to move on.  I might let Mitrovic stay for a season to see if he can kick on and let Pitchford move on.  Youth players MacDonald, Gregory and Moreira will be allowed to move on.  If I get the right money, Peng, Mendouga, Young and Pitchford can go.   I might let Martinez move on as bringing in nearly 50mil for a backup GK might be worth it, though my 3rd GK needs to go out and play to improve so we'll see.  I'm not sure what to do about Hojlund due to his wage vs age but we've also massively missed him.

A ton of people are interesed in Quiroga but unless I can find a replacement he won't be leaving.

It might be a big summer, I do feel we could do with some new blood, especially uptop.

It's been a good season, we need to be a bit more solid but we've also had quite a few injuries.  It's a big shame about the FA Cup Final but we still did a treble.  I wonder if we'll hear anything about the stadium.

We're about to enter season 13 and I'm still excited what's to come .

Season 13 - 2035/2036

42dac9ca1ac3b1a3d36a78871714d580.png

As the norm, my assistant Julien Lachuer has been taking charge of friendly matches.  We've been good, enjoyed a trip to China and we've seen Hojlund and Yoro return.

I was expecting a big summer and it couldn't be any further from the truth in this current state.

I've had to complain to the press again to try and get a stadium built.

c744e48c6c50ba7e11de6b75b90040bd.png

Do I have any hope? None at all.  The whole thing feels very frustrating

Journalist:  With news that Rotherham council have refused planning permission for a new Rotherham United stadium, how do you feel?

Spilly:  Flabbergasted.  I was excited about the future of Rotherham United and I feel let down. I took over the club when we were trying to avoid relegation as it was a real threat.  Now we're back to back Champions League winners and we've won the Premiership 9 times in a row.  This is a club here to stay.

Journalist: Do you feel your amibitons are met by the Chairman?

Spilly: Sometimes I don't.  We're currently the second biggest club in the World and I feel some would say we're bigger than Inter.  We've grown bigger than the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.  Yes, we have the best facilities that we can possibly get but I've been very clever in the transfer market and I make us money.

Journalist: With the idea of Rotherham United playing in what was supposed to be a 67,000 seater stadium.  Do you feel that the bigger venue would have brought money into the town of Rotherham?

Spilly: Absolutely.  Think of the income to surronding areas from away fans needing to stay, nights out in Rotherham, Champions League nights.  Think about the jobs it would have brought in.  Not just that but the nights that people will cherish for the the rest of their life.  Imagine a stadium bigger than the Etihad, bigger than Anfield.  The pride of South Yorkshire, Rotherham fans would have never imagined being able to see their team in a stadium like that.

Journalist: There's rumours that you've gone back in with new plans for a stadium, is this true?

Spilly: Well as you know I've had to leak my story again to the press about Dai Yongge and his amibtion for a new stadium just for plans to be put in place.  I don't have much hope for the plans to be approved at the end of the footballing year but as you've seen we've currently let a bunch of our players go, bringing in £238million in transfer sales and I haven't spent a penny bringing players in.

Journalist: On the subjects of transfers.  After selling so many players and having a transfer budget of nearly £600mil, will you be looking to add any players to the team?

Spilly: I absolutely will.  I have a bid in already for one youth player and there's an retired English international in the final year of his contract.  He's currently 32 and is probably the best player in the world in his position.  His club are willing to let him go and he'll still cost a pretty penny but what's the point in making all this money if I can't have a bit of a fun with it if my original plans won't be taking place.

Journalist: There's only one player that could be.  Are you going on record that you're trying to bring in Jude Bellingham to Rotherham United?

Spilly: All I'm saying is watch this space.  I'm looking to break Rotherham Uniteds record transfer fee.

Transfers

It's true, I've sold so many players to try help fund stadium which isn't happening.

Besic - loads of potential but needs to play.  Feel his lack of determination is hindering him a bit.
MacDonald - I'll miss Kevin, my first "wow" academy player.  He's a good player but he doesn't fit as a MC or ST here and honestly, he's better at AMC which I don't play.
Belt - Youngster with no potential here.  In the last year of his contract and £5mil was very good money.
Gregory - An academy player who's never gonna hit his potential.   Actually shocked he's going to be first team at Juventus.
Moreira - The academy player I could never understand what he actually was.  Bags of potential but for what position I don't know.  I got very good money for him.
Toledano - I got very good money for him.  He's near enough peaked and isn't good enough.  He's an academy player who was in the last year of his contract.
Lawl - Academy AF with lots of potential.  Already capped for Sweden but he's a selfish player and does not fit here.
Vermiglio - Last year of his contract and wanted be a squad player.  I have 3 players who can play RWB who are much better, wasn't needed.
Blott - Lots of potential, I do hope he can play here in the future.
Young - Shame I could only get £7.5mil for young.  He's not the worst player but he was in the last year of his contract and isn't good enough.
Pitchford - I felt like it was time for him to move on.  I got amazing money and I have Mitrovic back from loan who I want to try.  I also have a youngster I want to give game time.
The last 4 are all loans that need game time.  Wu Runze will hopefully make it here, he's an academy player.

I only made one replacement.  I had a coach retire and the only one who looked good enough to replace was Jay Spearing.  He's actually quite a good Possession - Tactical coach at 4.5* which was an upgrade to our 4* coaches.

Season Start

We've got two cups to win.  Hopefully we can win the Community Shield this year and let's see if we can improve the squad!

Community Shield

Let's see if we can make up for last years defeat and our draw against West Ham at the back end of last season.

The line ups:

d358fc14f2ec77cb3fb9d5423e29376b.png

All I can say to my line up:  The gang is back.

I can actually play my strongest 11.

First half.

Rotherham United get the season underway.

19th minute: Becerra hits in and Hubana heads just over!

25th minute:  Becerra throws in to Juliao.  He plays it back.  Becerra dribbles into the box and rifles it and it's a big save from Lima.  Biffi with the corner, hits in and it's headed out.  Juliao collects the loose ball and hits in!  It's 1 - 0 after 26 minutes.

We've been the better side in the first half.

6151f459d4624aedd1fb3213a6883a29.png

Second Half.

The Hammers will need to improve to get a goal back here.

52nd minute: Becerra hits a good ball in but Hubana has a heavy firs totuch and Silveria clears.  Lele picks up, crosses in and finds Juliao in space who heads in!  It's ace when Juliao heads in!  He's probably the smallest player on the pitch :D.  It's 2 - 0!

64th minute: Lele crosses in a fantastic ball and Hojlund heads over.  Should have done better.

65th minute: Lele intecerpts a long ball, dribbles 30 yards and hits just over the net.  Brilliant and unlucky.

69th minute: Biffi hits in the freekick and Dekker heads into the side netting.

Bitshiabu, Tapia, Quiroga, Vilela and Flores replace Yoro, Becerra, Phillips, Hojlund and Hubana in the 70th minute.

Aime replaces Biffi in the 75th minute.

85th minute: Barco hits a ball in the box, we clear, West Ham have it back, Flores steals but Lima picks up.  West Ham lost it again but it's a poor pass from Juliao, Brossard hits into the box and Plonka pulls one back for West Ham!  Did I make too many subs?

87th minute: It's taken 85 minutes for West Ham to wake up but good passing and Gourna-Douath tries his luck from the edge of the box but he curls it just over.

We held on for a deserved win.  Let's hope that's the start of a cup filled season.

UEFA Super Cup

We're playing well, let's hope it continues.

The line ups:

f6fc2e7fd9a9cab2de5841a91d582574.png

Liverpool are a good side.  Echeverri likes scoring against us and Pino has caused us problems in the past, especially when attacking Becerra in the air.

This is now probably my best 11.  May the best team win.

First Half.

Liverpool kick off.

6th minute: Becerra crosses in and Hubana heads juvt over.

14th minute: Tapia replaces the injured Lele.

20th minute: It's a brilliant run by Echeverri, he crosses in and Kusi-Asare heads in.

27th minute: Becerra dribbles down the left, cuts in but fires over.

28th minute: This time he does the same but finishes low!  It's 1 - 1.

32nd minute: Phillips hits it from 30 yards but it's over.

45+1:  We take the lead!  Juliao wins the ball and we counter, Hubana back to Tapia.  He crosses and Hojlund heads in!

acb9e4dfb37cddb12cacb39b6f789023.png

Second half.

The Millers kick off.

53rd minute:  Tapia crosses and Hojlund heads in to make it 3 - 1!

63rd minute: Tapia again, my word.  Dekker plays it out to him, he's smart, finds Bellingham who takes on his man and smashes in.

65th minute: Kimble, Biffi, Aime and Vilela replace Yoro, Bellingham, Juliao and Hubana.

73rd minute: Ward crosses, Kusi-Asare heads in but he's offside!

78th minute: Tapia again!!!  Hojlund hits in the freekick, Phillips heads it at goal but it's saved.  Tapia is there to hit in the rebound.  I can't remember a sub making this much of a difference!

80th minute: Ward hits in an absolute beautiful cross and Kusi-Asare has smartly done our defense and is free to head in.

Tapia was unreal.  3 assists and a goal from coming as on a sub at RWB!

Brilliant month, we can score goals.

Tapia replaces the injured Becerra, Phillips is suspended after his sending off against West Ham in the FA Cup Final but that doesn't matter as Bellingham starts for Rotherham United!  Palace take the lead after 6 minutes.  Ball hit the box, Tremble heads out to Soumah who passes to Sousa in the box to hit in as Dekker is well out of position to keep onside!  That was terrible from Dekker!  There's a bit of a fluke equalier in the 13th minute.  Bellingham hits in the corner, Hubana heads it and it hits off Yoro to go in.  Palace go back in the lead after 14 minutes!  Good ball down the right, Ibekwe hits first time into the box and Sousa hits in at the back post.  Hubana equalises after 21 minutes, Bellingham plays it out to Lele, he crosses low, Hojlund is taken down and the ball falls to Hubana to hit in, he actually looks offside.  Quiroga makes it 2 - 3 in the 26th minute.  Lele throws in to Bellingham, he plays it into the box, it deflects out and Quiroga curls it in low from just outside the box.  Palace make it 3 - 3 after 45+3!  Escobar crosses and Nuamah beats Lele in the air to head in.  What is this game!  Hubana puts us back in the lead after 63 minutes!  Bellingham hits in the corner and Hubana heads it into the empty net as Trafford is in no mans land!  It's a debut goal for Bellingham!  He hits in the corner, it's headed out, Flores chests it to Biffi who plays it back to Bellingham, he cuts in, hits in and it's a huge deflection into the net.  Hubana makes it 3 - 6 and it's hit hat trick after 75 minutes!  He heads in Tapia's cross.  That's brilliant and it's 7!  Bellingham plays an sublime ball through, Lele gets onto it and plays it across goal to found Flores in a ton of space!  What a game, not the best at the back but we finished with an xG of 6.47 in a Prem game.  Is this a sign of things to come?

cb393d66d512458933895730c0fc2996.png

Tapia starts at RWB after that world class performance against Liverpool.  Hubana puts us ahead after just 11 minutes.  Hubana hits a ball to Biffi, he's tackled but Hubana picks up the loose ball, dribbles through the middle of the defense and hits in after 11 minutes.  Somehow my CB who passed the original ball to Hubana has the assist.  Tapia again.... Bellingham plays it outwide, Tapia runs on to it, dribbles, hits it between two defenders and Hubana gets his brace after 23 minutes.  My word Tapia is on fire!  Bitshiabu makes it 3 after 63 minutes.  Hojlund hits in the freekick, Southampton head out but Hubana vollets it to Bitshiabu who volleys it and defelcts in!  We were in control from start to finish.

Mitrovic is back from injury and I'm letting him start against West Ham.  Bellingham smashes in a 25 yarder to give us the lead, Juliao does brilliant to incerpt, plays it to Bellingham and he has to time to steady himself before thumping it.  Bellingham was the difference!

Transfer Window(So Far)

Well for some reason the window doesn't close until the 3rd of September, it's a bit messy this year.

Journalist: You told us to watch this space and you've very much filled it.

Rotherham Fan:  Wow, we got him!  But how much?

Spilly: Welcome the most expensive English Player to Rotherham United.

September

28 goals in 7 games.  We're absolutely lethal this season.

A few injuries so Kimble is at RWB and Tapia LWB.  Bellingham put us ahead after 17 minutes.  He hits in a corner, it's headed out, Tapia collects, to Juliao, to Bellingham and he hits past Bazunu.  Yoro should have put the game beyond about as he heads in Flores' corner in the 88th minute.  Is that a goal!?  Juliao absolutely smashes it, it's off the post and basically travels to the other post just inside the net, it's 3 - 0 in the 95th minute!  We were fantastic today.   Juliao and Bellingham are looking great together.

Biffi isn't happy about his playing time Bellingham has joined.  Biffi has played in a part of every game and he was just unreal against Sheff Weds, even better when I moved him uptop so I'm going to try him there vs Everton.  It's Lele who gives us the lead after a brilliant bit of play from Bellingham, he finds Lele who dribbles into the box and hits in after 15 minutes.  It's a brilliant counter attack, the move is finished by Lele setting up Phillips who hits in from just outside the box after 37 minutes.  It's a penalty!  Bellingham is taken down in the box!  Hubana steps up.. and smashes in!  3 - 0 after 62 minutes!  Everton are down to 10 after Grujcic decides to double foot Biffi after 63 minutes.  Hubana gets a brace after heading in Hojlunds cross after 76 minutes. Aime hits a brilliant ball over to Boxall who chests it down and smashes off the bar and in after 87 minutes.  Another pen!?  Aime takes a freekick, plays it to Hubana who is fouled.  He steps up and gets his hat-track after 93 minutes.

The first half against Arsenal was like watching paint dry, we have to do better.  What a strike!  Mitrovic just scored his first Rotherham United goal, coming off the bench and hitting a 25 yarder!  OH!  On the replay it takes a HUGE deflection!  Whatever, I'll take it!  We take the lead after 71 minutes!  We weren't great today but Arsenal offered little going forward, 2 shots, 0 on target.  They did hit the woodwork but with the players they have you'd expect more.

City are without Haaland and we're in good form, let's keep the party going!  City have a new goalkeeper this year, a 19 year old Italitan prospect who had been on my radar, it's a shame as we like scoring against Brits.  We take the lead after 20 minutes!  It's a counter, Bellingham to Lele, Lele plays it back to Phillips, he passes first time to Becerra who rifles in a first time shot from inside the area.  City equalise after 32 minutes!  Beck crosses, it's headed out, Lewis collects and scores a 25 yard piledriver!  We're ahead!  Biffi hits a lovely over to Lele, he chests it, hits it on the volley into the box where he finds Hubana, he hits in after 51 minutes.  It's 1 - 3!! Brilliant counter attacking football, Becerra plays a lovely ball over, Hojlund collects, hits in the box and Hubana gets a brace after 63 minutes!  WHAT A HIT!  Juliao has just off the bench and scored a 25 yard screamer!  That was perhaps even better than Lewis' hit!  It's 1 - 4 after 77 minutes.  What a win, my forwards did so much work.

25 goals in 7 games.  Man Utd are keeping up with us.

Much harder game next but we've just beat them and this time we're at home.

Champions League

I rested some players and expected a close game,  not total domination!

Deadline Day

Nothing much else changed, just some loans out.  Bellingham has been worth it so far.

Everyone needs game time, aslong as the players from abroad play in England for HG status, I'm happy.  The club aren't and keep getting annoyed at me because I don't get loan fees in for some players.  Personally I think their development is more important.

Player Development

Let's be honest, it's crazy to think we're even in this list.  Give it a couple more years and we'll be over 40 easily.

Next Month

It's that weird break for internationals where we seem to have a longer gap between games than needed and I might need to throw in a friendly.  We should be able to get another green month here though.
