Please explain the players mental attributes

Can someone please explain the how the following player mental attributes works.

adaptable/ambition/loyalty/professional/pressure - does a high score of 20 mean very adaptable/very ambitious/very loyal/ very professional and can handle pressure well. Whilst low scores are the opposite i.e 1 for loyalty means very likely to move on if given the chance.

whilst for sporting/temperament low scores of 1 mean they are very unsporting and temperamental (more like to react to fouls etc) and a big score of 20 means they are more of a 'model citizen'.
