Soul_Linneus
I'm currently creating a world super league as I have done many times before. Usually I just create a multi tiered domestic division and a cup and be done with it. This time though, I would like to add smaller national divisions for most top nations to run alongside the main super league. The Super league has 14 divisions of 20 clubs divided over 6 tiers. I added the clubs with the highest rep to these divisions. 38 games will take place primarily during the weekend. I deleted all existing national domestic divisions. I created a national Argentine division 1 and division 2 with each 8 clubs. These 14 games will take place throughout the season on Wednesdays. However, I can not seem to add clubs to both the super league and the national division. If I add River plate to the Argentine D1 it is being removed from the Super League division 3A. I assume I need to choose a different competition type for the national divisions? 'Domestic-other divisions' doesn't do it. Anyone who can offer insight? Thanks! Soul_Linneus
By using secondary divisions I've made some progress, but I'm still not there. This is what I've done so far: Nation Rules for Universalia (Luxembourg renamed) Divisions > World League 1 > World League 2 > World League 3 >> World League 3A >> World League 3B > World League 4 >> World League 4A >> World League 4B > World League 5 >> World League 5A >> World League 5B >> World League 5C >> World League 5D > World League 6 >> World League 6A >> World League 6B >> World League 6C >> World League 6D Secondary divisions > National League - France (parent) >> National League - France 1 >> National League - France 2 >> National League - France 3 > National League - Argentina (parent) >> National League - Argentina 1 >> National League - Argentina 2 >> National League - Argentina 3 In the end I want to have a national division for most important nations, but so far I only created two divisions to test it. The aim is to have promotion/relegation between those subdivions. For each nation I created one umbrella/parent competition and three subdivisions. In the parent competitions I have not entered any promotion/relegation places (both set to 0) For the subdivisions I have set the division for promoted/relegated teams and entered the number of promoted/relegated teams to 2 when applicable. From what I understand, that is how it's supposed to work. However 2 issues pop-up: 1. Testing the rules gives me the following error msg: "National League - France 1 (level 0) is relegating teams to a division (National League - France 2 - level 0) which isn't one division level below" 2. I have set the competition level for each parent comp to 1 and for the child competitions to 1, 2 and 3. After testing the rules I see that the competition levels for all France divisions (parent + child) are now 1. All the comp levels for Argentina (parent + children) are now 2. It seems as if the editor is assigning a comp level based on the order in which I have entered each secondary division. However I want these national divisions to exist independent from each other and I want the subdivisions of the secondary divisions to have multiple tiers with promotion/relegation. I'm clearly doing something wrong, but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Soul_Linneus
I think I've figured it out. For those who are interested, here's what works: The secondary divisions need to organized as follows: > National Leagues - Division 1 (number of promotion/relegation places = 0) >> France 1 (number of promotion places = 0 / number of relegation places = 2) >> Argentina 1 (number of promotion places = 0 / number of relegation places = 2) > National Leagues - Division 2 (number of promotion/relegation places = 0) >> France 2 (number of promotion places = 2 / number of relegation places = 2) >> Argentina 2 (number of promotion places = 2 / number of relegation places = 2) > National Leagues - Division 3 (number of promotion/relegation places = 0) >> France 3 (number of promotion places = 2 / number of relegation places = 0) >> Argentina 3 (number of promotion places = 2 / number of relegation places = 0) In the 'general' tab of each subdivision you'll need to define to which division teams will promote and relegate (if applicable) The nation rules are valid and the game loads as it should. I'll create the remaining nation leagues and then do a holiday game to see if nothing brakes.
