Uninstalling in-game editor

Hello, this is my first post on this forum.

 

I would like to know if there is away to uninstall the "in-game editor". I know there's a toggle option in the game preferences but in fact the icon still appears as greyed out in the tab menu. What I would like is to completely remove it. I'm using the game on the Epic store and I don't see the way to uninstall it.

Can you explain why you want it uninstalled? Maybe I can think of a better solution that suits you without installation.

Well, first I find a bit strange that you can install something but not uninstall it. I play other games where you can install or uninstall mods and expansions, like with the Civilization games. But mainly I don't like the fact that you can't remove the edit button from the tab menu. It can be a bit distracting having that icon there when it's not something that you want to use on the save that you're playing.

It can be uninstalled. It's just that we don't get the question regularly, so I was wondering what the reason was behind it.

In Steam there is an option to check the properties of any games you have and you can uninstall DLC there. There should be the same thing for the Epic store as well.

I've been looking for it, but I cannot find this option on the Epic store. The pre-game editor and the resource archiver appears as a separate elements on the library, but not the in-game editor. That can only be found clicking on the three dots next to the game then explore addons, and can't be uninstalled.
