Carambau
The Lilies July 2027 Transfers Damn Saudis! They lured Singo into the desert. At least the money was ok. Bader and Mehlem went too as they were seeking a new challenge. Weißhaupt was signed because of his versatility: He can play almost everywhere. We needed a new right Wing Back and so Roberts came in and he can play on both sides. Rohl provides options in central midfield. Cittadini and Aka were signed as backups for the central defender position. Same goes for veteran striker Volland but in attack. The other players were signed to fill up our U19 team. The Team Goalkeepers Schuhen remains our first choice keeper, but Urbig will be his successor. Bredlow is the 3rd man. Key Player: Marcel Schuhen Defenders No big changes. We got some more options. Key player: Andrei Borza Midfielders We got even more options on the wings now. Key Player: Rodrigo Villagra Attackers Pellegri is the first choice, but Zeba came back from a successful loan spell at 2.Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin where he scored 9 goals in 25 games. Volland is our 3rd choice striker. Key Player: Pietro Pellegri Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations "Top-half finish" this season? Wow. Tough but managable. Season Preview Looks like Pellegri stands in high regard in the league. Pre-Season Friendlies This should give us confidence. Carambau
The Lilies August 2027 Results Our best start into a season yet! Amateur side Lichtenberg played well and made it way tougher than expected but we progressed to round 2 of the DFB Pokal where we will play MSV Duisburg at home. Then we went to Mainz and won. Wolfsburg visited us a week later but was sent home without points. And to end the month we defeated Gladbach. Bundesliga Table Perfect points after 3 games. Europe These are our opponents in the Europa League. Edited March 3 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies September & October 2027 Results Wow the calender was packed with games the last 2 months! We did well in the beginning but a little tiredness set in versus the end of October and we had to rotate a lot. September began with an expected defeat against Bayern, then we won our first Europe League game against Celta in style. Cologne away was next and we were able to win there as well. In Europe, we continued with a win in Italy at Salerno and defeated Schalke 2-1 at home. This was followed by two 1-0 wins against Nurnberg respectively Leipzig, before our home game against Braga brought us our first loss in the Europa League. We somehow lost our confidence and also lost our next home game against Stuttgart. At least we could record a win again in the DFB Pokal against 2.Bundesliga outfit Duisburg before we lost at Hoffenheim in a match where both defenses simply did not exist. Bundesliga Table Still going strong despite the recent loss of our good form. Europe Looking good in Europe as well. Carambau
The Lilies November & December 2027 Results We are struggling domestically but starring in Europe! We took a valuable point at Celtic park, then lost to Hamburg at home. We also failed to beat Eintracht in the Hessen Derby. Gent was defeated in the Europa League before we lost to Hamburg for the 2nd time this month to go out of the DFB Pokal. Freiburg defeated us before we came back with a bang to trash Astana 3-0. The points were shared in a draw against Augsburg at home and then finally we won a league game again: 2-1 against Hannover. 3 days later we lost at Leverkusen again. Bundesliga Table We dropped quite some positions. Europe We are doing great in Europe though. Edited March 7 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies January 2028 Transfers Both were moaning about playing time. Ok, get out on loan! Here comes our record transfer: We signed Uber-talent midfielder Ivan Ares from Almeria. Hopefully he can live up to our hype. And we signed right back Vavrik. Results Thats a bit better. We grabbed a point at home against Dortmund, then we lost away at Wolfsburg. We even won AT Sporting in the Europa League! Mainz was defeated just as Ludogorets in the EL afterwards. Then we drew at Gladbach to top off the January fixtures. Bundesliga Table We are still there in contention for Europe but we need to do better in the league! Europe This has been a fantastic League Phase from us! We finished 2nd and will play in the last 16 straight away. Carambau
The Lilies February & March 2028 Results We continued to shine in Europe despite being awful in the Bundesliga. We lost the first 3 league games in February: Against Bayern, Cologne and even Schalke, before we recorded a win again against Nuremberg. We lost the next league game at Leipzig, but then somehow managed to win in Glasgow. I don´t know, these players seem to love the big stage obviously. We then managed to steal a point at Stuttgart. In the 2nd leg against Celtic, they took the lead 6 Minutes from the end which meant we had to go to extra time where Zeba scored and secured our quarter final qualification. There we will meet Chelsea. In the next game we returned to our losing ways and Hoffenheim defeated us easily at home. Bundesliga Table I think we can say goodbye to Europe. Youth Intake Another uninteresting intake. Buchhart seems to be the best of this mediocre bunch. Edited March 7 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies April & May 2028 Results We got a bit closer to Europe in the end but it wasn´t enough. At least we managed what the board wanted: A top half finish. We started April well by beating Hamburg at their place, then expectedly lost the 1st leg against Chelsea, drew in the Hessen Derby once more, lost the 2nd leg against Chelsea and went out in the Europa League quarter finals which I consider a success. We only managed a point at lowly Hannover, but then beat Freiburg and Augsburg. We were now sitting on 7th place which would have been enough for Europe. But then we lost to the big ones Leverkusen and Dortmund and the dream was over. Bundesliga Table In the end it was 9th place. The board wanted a top half finish and we delivered. Although European qualification again would have been nice. Pellegri won the golden boot with 25 goals. Youth Again, our U19 got promoted to the national youth league. Hopefully, we will be able to avoid relegation next season. Season Stats Pellegri scored 35 goals this season, I hope we can hold on to him as the clubs are already piling up to sign him. Urbig will replace Schuhen as our first choice goalkeeper next season, he already played a lot this season and did well. Zeba improved massively this season and was even voted Best Young Player In The Europa League. Winter signing Ares showed his class and already is a first teamer. Quite some players will have to leave after the season though as we are building for the future. Edited March 9 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies July 2028 Transfers The only notable departure is Riedel. Volland decided to call it a day and end his career. Not many transfers this time. Nelson is a talented left wingback who got loaned back to his original club right away. Gambini is a highly talented central defender who will improve our defense immediately. Holm is a proven wing back who can play on both sides. Prömel is a DM veteran with lots of experience. Koch was only bought as a backup. The Team Goalkeepers Urbig is the future. Schuhen is the past. John is only a backup. Key Player: Jonas Urbig Defenders Gambini should lead our back three, despite his young age. Key player: Andrei Borza Midfielders Prömel brings much needed experience to our midfield. Key Player: Rodrigo Villagra Attackers Torsiello is back after years on loan but he won´t be more than a backup player. Zeba and Pellegri will fight for the only place in attack. Key Player: Pietro Pellegri Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations No Europe for us this season. Club News The could have been a bit more creative with the stadium name though. Pre-Season Friendlies Hey we even beat Real Madrid! Maybe a good omen for the season? Then again we lost against Leicester... Edited March 9 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies August 2028 Results A tough game against 2.Bundesliga outfit Elversberg in the DFB Pokal, but we managed to progress to the next round in the end. We will have to travel to Greuther Fürth in the 2nd round, another 2.Bundesliga team. Our first Bundesliga game at Cologne ended in a draw. Then we beat our rivals convincingly in the Hessen Derby. And then we lost against Bayern. Bundesliga Table A decent start. Nothing special. Edited March 12 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies September & October 2028 Results We beat Freiburg easily 1-0 before falling to Leipzig in a narrow 2-3 defeat. We beat Schalke 3-1 in a tough game and then we had about 3 weeks to relax a bit but still Leverkusen made short work of us when the Bundesliga continued in October. Augsburg held us to a draw a week later but then we took all 3 points at newly promoted Paderborn. It took a penalty shootout against 2.Bundesliga outfit Greuther Fürth to go through to the 3rd round in the DFB Pokal where we will meet Borussia Dortmund at home. 3 days later we trashed Wolfsburg 3-0. Bundesliga Table Our recent form helped us climb to 6th. Edited March 12 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies November & December 2028 Results Nice to see how relaxed the schedule becomes once you are not playing in Europe anymore. And we had a very relaxed November too as we won all games in that month! First we defeated Stuttgart with a goal in stoppage time, then dominated Kiel at their home in a 3-0 away win. Our player Can Uzun who is loaned to Nuremberg gave them the lead against us in the next game but we managed to turn the result around and win. The next result was a surprise: We kicked big Borussia Dortmund out of the DFB Pokal! The difference in an even game was that we managed to score twice and they didn´t. We will play 3.Liga outfit Jahn Regensburg in the quarter finals next. We then traveled to Hoffenheim and snatched a draw in a boring game. The next game against Bochum wasn´t boring at all but it had the same outcome: A draw. Then we went to Hamburg for the last game of the year and got butchered 3-0. Not a nice way to end the year. The Ultras were not amused. Bundesliga Table It is a tight season. Edited March 10 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies January 2029 Transfers The Saudis came to visit again. Sad to let prolific scorer Pellegri go but we already have his successor in Zeba who can step up now. Muller wanted to bathe in money so we let him. We signed another young central defender talent. Jovanovic has lots of potential. Results Good results if you look at the opposition. We held Dortmund at home, then we held Eintracht away in the Hessen Derby and then we narrowly beat Cologne. The defeat against Bayern was expected, as always. Bundesliga Table The race for Europe stretches down to 12th placed Cologne! We can´t afford to take a breather. Carambau
The Lilies February & March 2029 Results Not the best results. February began promisingly with the win against Freiburg and the extra time win at Regensburg in the DFB Pokal which sent us to the semi finals against 2.Bundesliga outfit Mainz. Struggling with weariness after that extra time win midweek, we lost at home to Leipzig. We were able to win at Schalke after that though which created some false hope because from then we lost to Leverkusen, f*cking Augsburg and could not even beat poor Paderborn at home!! So we rested some regular players and gave the benchers a chance in the next game. And see - they delivered, albeit very luckily: We won at Wolfsburg! Then we went to Stuttgart and lost again. Bundesliga Table We could not even keep up with f*cking Augsburg. Youth Intake This gets worse every year Despite our Youth Facilities having been upgraded a few times in the last years! Edited March 11 by Carambau
Hootieleece
You look like my Hertha, good enough to be better (European places), but muck around too much and lose too many matches you shouldn't and end up as midtable mediocrities. Carambau
The Lilies April & May 2029 Results An icredible April saw us reach the DFB Pokal final against Augsburg! We won every game in that month, solidifying our place among the top 6 in the league. We smashed Kiel 4-1, then won at Nuremberg, needed extra time to beat 2.Bundesliga outfit Mainz in the Cup semis, went on to score four against Hoffenheim, and another 4 to beat Bochum away. May wasn´t perfect but we managed not to lose against our bogey team Hamburg, lost against Dortmund and then won our first silverware by beating f*cking Augsburg in the DFB Pokal Final! Bundesliga Table We would have qualified for the Europa League even if we had lost the Cup Final. Zeba finished 3rd in the goalscoring chart and Borza in the assists chart. Youth And our U19 gfinally managed to survive in the National U19s league and not get relegated! Season Stats Zeba scored 21 goals this season which doesnt sound too much but considering he did it without playing in Europe thats quite good. Second best goalscorer was our central defender Janitzek who scored a lot from corners, but this looks strange I admit. Borza showed again that he is our best player, although Ares had more assists overall. More changes to come next season! Carambau
The Lilies July 2029 Transfers We could not keep hold of Urbig after that offer. We got rid of some really old players like Promel and Roberts finally. We had to bring in a new first choice keeper so we signed Croatian national keeper Maks Galinovic. Winger Yildiz joins from Juventus where he didnt make it. Vermeeren and Neuhaus give us more options in defensive midfield. Samuels-Smith is going to give more competition to our central defenders. Queiroz is a talented right wing back, while Hicks is a deeplying playmaker talent which suits our tactics perfectly. Sosic is a quick left winger. Coulibaly was loaned out straight away for match practice. The Team Goalkeepers Galinovic is our new first choice keeper. Schuhen is the backup. John is just there. Key Player: Maks Galinovic Defenders Samuels-Smith improves our defense massively. Key player: Christian Gambini Midfielders More talent added to our midfield. Key Player: Ivan Ares Attackers Zeba should rock it again. The bookmakers see him as one of the best strikers in the league. Key Player: Danijel Zeba Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations The expectations are on the rise. Pre-Season Friendlies A great pre-season, resultwise. Carambau
The Lilies August 2029 Results We played in the DFL-Supercup for the 1st time and predictably lost to Dortmund. Carambau
The Lilies September & October 2029 Results We had a streak of 5 unbeaten games in the Bundesliga until we lost against Dortmund in October. We also did not lose in our three Europa League games, the highlight being the win against Braga. And we defeated Heidenheim to reach the 3rd round of the DFB Pokal where we will play at home against Mainz. Bundesliga Table Our unbeaten streak helped us climb to 7th. Europe Going to plan.
Carambau
The Lilies November & December 2029 Results Only 2 defeats in those 2 months which is good. And lots of goals scored, for example against Partizan at their home or against poor Qarabag. Of course there was that heavy loss in the Hessen Derby at Frankfurt as well, but we made the fans smile again with the trashing of Freiburg in the following match. December was rather boring compared to November, but at least we could make our way to the quarter final of the DFB Pokal again after defeating Mainz. We will face Union Berlin at the Stadion an der alten Forsterei. Bundesliga Table Up there with them, but at the same time not quite up there with them. Europe A comfortable position with 2 games to go. Edited March 12 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies January 2030 Transfers Holm and Alidou didn´t exactly play regularly so we took the money and let them both leave. Yildiz has not settled yet and went out on loan. Results January started well and ended well with 3 narrow wins. In between we lost pretty heavily 3 times. Bochum and Schalke were hard to crack but in the end we cracked them both. Then Bayern, Brentford and Leverkusen cracked us. Then it was our time to crack again and we cracked Genk in the last Europa League game. Football is just nuts sometimes... Bundesliga Table We fell behind a bit and they all have a game in hand... Europe A good League Phase. We will face Anderlecht in the Playoffs. Edited March 13 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies February & March 2030 Results Mixed results. We managed to beat Anderlecht 4-1 at home and drew at their place to make the round of 16 in the Europa League. There we played Rayo Vallecano and both legs saw lots of goals but in favor of the spaniards: After a 3-3 draw at home we lost 1-4 in Spain and went out. But I am still proud of the lads, they did very well in Europe. Back in Germany, we qualified for the semi final of the DFB Pokal after beating Union Berlin away 3-0. We will now meet 2.Bundesliga team Holstein Kiel in the semis, we really seem to be very lucky when it comes to cup draws. In the league however, we continued our rollercoaster ride. Bundesliga Table 8th. At least we left f*cking Augsburg behind us. Youth Intake Another poor intake. Edited March 13 by Carambau

Carambau
The Lilies April & May 2030 Results We again made it to the DFB Pokal final after beating 2.Bundesliga outfit Kiel. There we met mighty Bayern and played a surprisingly good game! We took them to extra time and even had the advantage in the penalty shootout after 3 takers - but then we missed 3 shots in a row and they won it. A real pity, I can´t fault the lads, their performance was outstanding. In the league? Well, better not talk about it. Apart from winning the Hessen Derby once more and beating Mainz, we just did not deliver. A draw against Hamburg and defeats against Freiburg, Leipzig followed and we even lost against Paderborn! The board is not happy about failing our domestic season target. Bundesliga Table A mediocre 8th place in the end. More would have been undeserved. Youth Our U19 again managed to stay up in the National U19s league and not get relegated. Well done, youngsters! Season Stats Zeba scored 30 goals this season, Borza made 16 assists, Ares had double digits in both. And our new keeper Galinovic was voted Bundesliga Newcomer Of The Year. New signings Samuels-Smith, Hicks and Queiroz developed nicely and became regular first teamers right away. So not everything was bad. Schuhen will retire after the season though. Edited March 14 by Carambau
Carambau
The Lilies July 2030 Transfers Zeba has left the building. Everton made an unnegotiable big of 70M and we had to accept it. Neuhaus, Vermeeren, Aka and Nelson also left. Of course we needed a successor of Zeba in attack. So we signed Stephen Gold, the name alone merits him a place in our team! Cameron Archer was also signed, as a backup striker. We also had to bring in a new backup keeper because Schuhen retired and in came Purtscher from Boavista. Martin, Rodriguez, Essugo and Slisz all came in to bolster our defensive midfield. Ben Salem is a great central defender talent. We also needed more options on the wings and so we signed Filippi and Quenda. Joakim Maehle was signed as a backup for both wing back positions. The Team Goalkeepers Galinovic is our first choice keeper. Purtscher is the backup. John is somehow still just there. Key Player: Maks Galinovic Defenders Maehle brings experience, Ben Salem brings potential. Key player: Christian Gambini Midfielders Way more options than before. Rotation will be key. Key Player: Ivan Ares Attackers Gold looks potent, Archer will be the backup striker. Key Player: Stephen Gold Tactics Those tactics worked well most of the time last season. Board Expectations Hopefully we can do better this season. Pre-Season Friendlies A good pre-season again.
Carambau
The Lilies August 2030 Results Amateurs Lichtenberg were no match in the 1st round of the DFB Pokal. Next round we will play Schalke at home. Then we lost our first Bundesliga match at home against Mainz. What a **** start into the season. At least then we drew with Wolfsburg and Nuremberg afterwards although we really should have won the game against Nuremberg. Bundesliga Table An underwhelming start.
