Relegation error

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've tried to reestablish Malaysian Premier League that have been extinct. But I have got an error saying that Malaysian Division Three teams cannot relegate to Division Four below:

I have changed the Division Level both in Malaysian Division Three,

and Division Four,

But I still have this error. Can anyone help?

I’m not on my laptop right now, so I can’t take a look at the file. However, I believe I know your issue. What you are circling on your pictures is the competition level. This error mentions the division level, which is a different setting.

In the Advanced Rules dropdown, click on Malaysia. From there, you should see an option that says Nation. Then, you should see the Division Levels in that tab. Check to make sure that the Malaysia Division Four League is listed under Malaysia Division Three.

Let me know if this helps. If not, someone can take a look at your file.

Is this what you mean? I have added the Division below the Division Three. Still the error appeared. FYI, the Division Four is an inactive division so maybe that's why the division did not appear in this Division Level.

Yes, that's what I was talking about. Also, the Division Four League being inactive is the issue. Once I made it active, it took away the error. However, it gave me a new error stating that it couldn't find the first stage settings for the Malaysian Four League Borneo. This is because you have child competitions (Borneo, Central/South, East Coast) for the division that don't have rules set up for them yet. You'll need to add them to the competitions list and then from there, you can add stages to make them run.

It is because I want it to be inactive. Before 24.3.0 update, it had no problem. But after update, this error appeared.

You must remove the "Alternative Division Levels" from M3 and M4, as you are enabling MPL that have been set to extinct.

It works! Thanks. I just did not know that there is an Alternative Division Levels.
