phd_angel
Can somebody please explain the difference between the options "not quite ready" and "not in best of form" when explaining to a player why I downgraded his agreed playing time? Also, what does "not been available" exactly mean (is about injuries?)? In sum, what option is best to tell a player he's not playing well? Thanks. turnip
"Not quite ready" - seems like telling him he's rubbish "Not in the best of form" - the player isn't playing well right now "Haven't been available" - player keeps getting injured, or is unavailable for other reasons
NineCloudNine
I've had the best success with "a lot of competition in your position", as long as (1) it's true and (2) the player isn't better than the other options. The others seem reasonably clear to me. Not quite ready = not good enough yet (I'd only say that to a younger player); Not in form = not playing well; Not available = injured a lot.
