cf03136
I believe there’s significant room for improvement in how football statistics are currently shown in FM, particularly regarding the emphasis on league goals over a more holistic consideration of a player’s performance across all competitions. In modern football, the conversation around goal records increasingly spans all competitions, not just domestic leagues. Integrating this broader perspective into Football Manager would offer a richer, more nuanced view of a player’s achievements. It would allow players to aim for records in both league goals and overall goals scored for their team. Furthermore, enhancing the career stats section to display a player’s total goals across all competitions for every season, similar to the existing league stats, would provide a comprehensive overview of a player’s prowess and contributions. This improvement would not only reflect the evolving landscape of football but also enrich player engagement and strategy within the game.
