I didn't even realize you could move clubs around like that, I've never messed with the editor (which I'm assuming is how you do it). This. This right here. The interactions in the game drive me crazy at times because they are soooo unrealistic. I had the same issue with Rodrigues in my save. He wanted out, told me he wanted out, I ended up offering him a lucrative contract which he accepted but I couldn't get the work permit through, so I put him up for transfer and he got mad. There wasn't even an option of saying "hey mate, you wanted gone, we tried to keep you but England won't allow it so we're giving you what you wanted, out... that's on you." I am finding it a lot of fun, I don't really like taking over/starting with Tottenham, mixture of reason, have tried this sort of thing with previous FM's but they never lasted as I just preferred other saves. This time I feel I got the set-up right, with lower rep and starting squad, didn't mess with too much, just the board etc, didn't want to ruin our finances, wanted us to stay wealthy, just wanted to have to work our way back up to hopefully some big success and also wanted it so that would have to sign players that would help us back up and if I had started in PL they wouldn't even been on our radar. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some goal crazy results in there, a 5-6 defeat, a 5-4 win and a 7-3 win, also some great battles in the cup against Premier League sides, a 4-3 win over Wolves and a narrow defeat against Man Utd. Happy with most things but conceding too many really and dropping some points in some games that we should have either won or at least picked up a share of the points. We have asked him to stay about 3 or 4 times and he did, so this time we didn't, my heart said to keep or at least try. To be honest I don't know, couldn't believe it myself lol Having and When in the Championship seemed crazy, especially when considering players that had no interest in coming. I have been using that to find out if player will hold talks with us. Quite often get this response. So I was shocked when with those 2 I got a response like below and then click agree Then go from there with a bid etc etc Yep still find it very surprising with them, what with our lower rep and being in Championship at time, actually if I hadn't tried to get them then but got promoted to PL first then tried, I would still be expecting negative response. Life back in the Premier League is proving tough so far, defence needs improvement so will have to focus transfers in that area.
