Adding leagues to existing save

Yo

I'm 20 seasons in to an fm23 save (ported over to fm24) and am thinking of adding some more leagues. 

How is this feature? I've never used in in FM before always just started a new game, I've never got this far into a save before. I don't want to add some leagues and find it doesn't work well and kills the save.

Thinking to add some more European leagues and Argentina/Uruguay.

Never had problems with that feature. It just adds more players and staff to the game and the added leagues becomo more active on the transfer market. The only downside is obviously processing becoming slower since now there's more leagues and players to process.

They start up before the next league start date and then they're indistinguishable from what you've had loaded (aside from not having those initial 20 years of transfers and in-league movement).

Ok brill thanks guys, I read that it was a bit iffy but that was a few FMs ago.

Will look at adding them soon then thank you
