Zzzeekin
CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GROUP A MATCHDAY 2 / NEUTRAL v MAN CITY MATCH REPORT Spoiler We fall to another narrow 1 - 0 defeat to Man City. A score-line that could have looked a lot worse if not for the heroics of MOTM Ramaj. We weren't at it on the day against a team that is top three in the world. TABLE Spoiler We are still in control of our own fate even after the loss with our final group game against Colo Colo coming up. __________ We will play Austrian side RB Salzburg in the UEFA Super Cup __________ CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GROUP A MATCHDAY 3 / NEUTRAL v COLO COLO MATCH REPORT Spoiler A clean sheet still eludes us at this competition, but we get the job done with Brobbey taking his tally to 26 for the season - showing Keizer just isn't the same gravy quite yet. TABLE Spoiler An Haaland hat-trick sees Man City top the group, unsurprisingly. CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW Spoiler It's a somewhat pleasant draw considering we finished 2nd in our group, with us heading over to Michigan to play germany's RB Leipzig. Zzzeekin
Board don't have any faith in us. The supporters do however! CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SECOND ROUND / NEUTRAL v RB LEIPZIG MATCH REPORT Spoiler In what started as brutish close fought contest - with neither team taking hold - the game was turned on it's head when Raum got two yellows within 7 minutes to take RB Leipzig down to 10 men. We capitalised and ran rampant after this, giving us a huge win. CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINAL DRAW Spoiler We stick with Germany as we take on Bundesliga Champions FC Bayern Munich in the quarter finals. __________ Our end of season income sees us have a brilliant month, bagging £31M in profit. Thanks to bournemouth staying up, his clause was activated and Akpom leaves for a fee of £10.22M - a player that would have seen more action had it not been for the arrival of Keizer, but the room had to be made to make him into a first team regular. __________ CLUB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINAL / NEUTRAL v FC Bayern Munich MATCH REPORT Spoiler We went in 2 down at half time conceding from their only two shots on target, whilst we missed 2 one-on-ones. It clearly wasn't going to be our day. Or so I though. A 2nd half that saw us dominate had us claw our way back to 2-2, until Bayern - registering their first and only shot on the 2nd half, score from a corner, Kim scoring his first goal in 57 games () to retake the lead. We had the better chances, more of the ball, and the higher xG.... Sometimes, the game just tells you you've gone far enough - our CWC campaign ends at the quarter finals. __________ Our incredible seasons sees us end as the 4th highest ranked team in the world. Ahead of the likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich (Ha!) and PSG. Will we stay up here is another question, but for now we are one of the best.
Zzzeekin
For once the club come to me to tell me about how they're going to improve our youth facilities. __________ TRANSFER NEWS The first of many leaves the club, a player rated our worse DCR leaves. He would have never made it, and had a year left on his contract.
Zzzeekin
Double injury worry will see both our MCR's injured for the pre season games. __________ Medic's emergence as a standout player in Sutalo's absence see's him request a new contract which we duly deliver. Hoping to get Henderson off the books to start balancing all these payrises! TRANSFER NEWS With 6 clubs circling, including AC Milan and Napoli - Wijndal started showing signs he wanted to move to a bigger club. This prompted AC Milan to come in with a lowball offer of £8M rising to £12M with clauses. I knocked this back which caused him to come in and we managed to agree to a fee of £20M which FC Porto duly delivered with some gametime. Unhappy to lose our best LB but it opens up the position somewhat.
Zzzeekin
PRE SEASON REVIEW A host of games plus player sales and instalment's sees us end the pre season month with a healthy £25M profit. A busy month to get the lads up to fitness see's us win every game, but only keep one clean sheet. Kalokoh and Bounida front the big names that were loaned out for experience / first team football this season. AUGUST PREVIEW A 6 game month to start the season, with the UEFA Super CUp against RB Salzburg the highlight. An away trip to Go Ahead Eagles perhaps our most trickiest in the league. __________ JOHAN CRUIJFF SCHAAL / HOME v FC TWENTE MATCH REPORT Spoiler Whilst the victory was dominant, I'm disappointed with yet another lack of clean sheet - conceding 2 goals from an xG of 0.57. Hoping Sutalo's return will sure up the back line.
Zzzeekin
Our first youth player to be loaned out - despite De Graafschap not quite playing the same way as us, I found the lure of regular first team game time should help him come on massively in the coming season. __________ MATCH DAY ONE / HOME v AZ MATCH REPORT Spoiler A comfortable win in the end despite the late penalty causing a few sweats before a 2nd of the game for Taylor puts us in control to see it out. Disappointed at the lack of clean sheet. TABLE Spoiler We kick off the season, so as such we sit top of the league for now. __________ We lose our best LW for 3/4 weeks thanks to a calf strain in his first game of the season - typical.
Zzzeekin
With a mammoth £66,000 off the books, Henderson move's on after being a useful servant for 2 seasons. His wages were to high and his was declining, so with a year left on his contract it made sense to move him on. Freeing up those wages has paid for every contract upgrade this season now.
Zzzeekin
UEFA SUPER CUP / NEUTRAL v RB SALZBURG MATCH REPORT Spoiler In a first half that saw us score from our only shot on target, and take what can only be described as a battering, we went in at half time 2nd best. Thankfully one of my world renown water bottle throws got them into gear and we blitzed them away in the 2nd half, with Lucas Jetten picking up two assists in a 20 minute cameo the future is looking bright. Yeah I lucked out there lets be honest - there's not many "top" teams I could have hoped to get there. Thank you! Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 2 / AWAY v RKC WAALWIJK MATCH REPORT Spoiler Conceicao opening his account for the season with two goals to lead the way to a comfortable, dominant victory. A few half chances and a disallowed goal being their only threat. Conceicao registered 40 G/A in 40 games last season, has looks set for another stellar season. For now, nobody his looking in his direction but how long we can keep hold of him on this form is another matter. TABLE Spoiler The table hasn't taken shape yet but we retain top spot thanks to our hammering of RKC Waalwijk __________ MATCH DAY 3 / HOME v FC GRONINGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler Another dominant victory, but I expected no less playing at home. Conceicao scoring his 4th goal in 2 games, Jaimy Keizer getting on the score sheet for his 3rd goal this season in as many games, as well as Lucas Jetten coming off the bench late to pick up an assist all leave us looking good for the future TABLE Spoiler
Zzzeekin
The injury we all dread seeing. Precious Ugwu's season is over, and with an injury like that - that could end his chances at breaking into the first team as well. __________ CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FIXTURES a tough opening month to the defence of our CL title sees us face the toughest game first - Liverpool at Anfield. Two tough home games against Germany's Dortmund and England's Chelsea break into a more forgiving November, playing BRG and Crevna Zvezda - two games we'll need to take maximum points in to have hopes of an automatic spot. RB Leipzig away finishes our away games for the fixture list before two home games against opposition we should be beating at the Johan Cruyff ArenA with SC Freiburg and FC RB Salzburg coming to town. __________ In a tough week for injuries, we lose Kian Fitz-Jim for 3 weeks, fracturing his toe doing his job Vos returns to the fold for now. __________ MATCH DAY 4 / AWAY v GO AHEAD EAGLES MATCH REPORT Spoiler Half time we had registered 11 shots with just 1 on target. We had contained GAE comfortably however we were way off the pace up front. The introduction of Borges and Brobbey changed that slightly, with both missing good chances before Brobbey laid off the ball to Unuvar to slot us ahead. I thought we would be dropping points early in the season then, but the lads stepped up when needed. TABLE Spoiler PSV remain on our tail, 2 points behind us. At the other end RKC Waalwijk are yet to pick up a single point __________ AUGUST REVIEW We profit thanks mostly to the £12.6M we received in CL prize money. A strong month - puts us nearly £250M more than when I took over the club. Still won't let me spend it though. A perfect month. The only downside is that we only kept two clean sheets, something I'm hoping will improve as the season goes on. __________ TRANSFER NEWS With a year to go on his contract and his position in the pecking order being close to the bottom, it made sense to let him go. I don't think he's good enough to strengthen AZ too much although he did have some potential. Similar to Abildgaard, van der Velde was well down the list of goalkeepers at the club - and would never have broken into the first team. We take the percentage of profit clause and let him move on NIGHTMARE FUEL. Transfer deadline day and Man City suddenly show interest for our star man. They offered £40M up front rising to £60M with clauses, a good offer but with our 3 next best RW's except Borges out on loan we just couldn't afford to let him leave right now. I knocked back the offer and tried to tell him I'd let him go at the end of the season but he simply didn't agree, and I can't blame him. With the transfer window coming to an end we keep hold of him for now, but unless he forgets about them before January, his time with us is likely numbered.
Zzzeekin
I didn't want to make promises to sell him on the off chance he decides to stay, however telling the squad that we need him to stay competitive didn't work as three players come at me for not letting him go. They'll get over it. __________ SEPTEMBER PREVIEW We kick off our Champions League defence with games against Liverpool and Dortmund. We also take on Feyenoord at home in one of our tougher games of the season. __________ INTERNATIONALS We see two more youth player internationals with Jaimy Keizer getting his first 2 caps for the Dutch U21's whilst Rence van Doorm takes 2 caps for the U19s __________ MATCH DAY 5 / AWAY v ADO DEN HAAG MATCH REPORT Spoiler Don't let the scoreline fool you, we had only registered 1 shot by the 30 minute mark and were well off the pace by the time half time came. Brobbey scoring two but missing another three open nets speaks volumes of how lucky we got, as a better team on the day would likely have punished us for the lack finishing. Unuvar will also miss 2 weeks after picking up a knock. TABLE Spoiler The perfect start to life in Eredivisie continues. Up next however, we head to England to take on Liverpool

Zzzeekin
Yeah, not even a whisper that they were interested in him until deadline day. Zzzeekin
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCHDAY 1 / AWAY v LIVERPOOL MATCH REPORT Spoiler After starting the game strongly, we found ourselves 2 - 0 down inside the first 15 minutes from their only 2 shots on target - something that is equal parts infuriating and unsurprising. Teams like Liverpool are clinical. Despite ending the half strong, with Hlynsson going close twice we couldn't get back into the game. We continued our resurgence in the second half, with Mannsverk grabbing us a goal back early. We then had to weather a Liverpool storm, with some quality defending keeping the deficit at 1, before Kezier went close towards the 70th minute. Then Borges, on for the underperforming and still unhappy Conceicao found the bottom corner from a quality set piece routine to put us level with 10 minutes to play. We kept on the pressure, with Keizer having a goal disallowed for offside late on, but we couldn't find a winner. A great result from 2 - 0 down. We start our defence with a strong showing at Anfield. TABLE Spoiler Table doesn't really make any sense until around 4 games in, but that point puts us middle of the pack. __________ Jong Ajax with an unbeaten start to the season. No youth players involved with them just yet. __________ Our Under 18s enjoying plenty of games featuring our youth intake talents, although with plenty of help from players finding fitness, they find themselves also undefeated 7 games in. __________ MATCH DAY 6 / HOME v FC UTRECHT MATCH REPORT Spoiler 12 shots at home is a fairly poor day by our standards, but we did make a good few changes with the fixtures piling up, and we were clinical despite van den Boomen missing a penalty to come away with a comfortable victory in the end. TABLE Spoiler Undefeated but Feyenoord are keeping just out of touching distance __________ MATCH DAY 7 / AWAY v FC VOLENDAM MATCH REPORT Spoiler Rotations continue for our 2nd of 3 league games in 7 days. The scoreline flattered us, despite to domination we were wasteful in the first half and missed a couple of clear chances. Conceicao's introduction from the bench added some much needed flair in the 2nd half as we spearheaded the goals. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord, who are our next opponents, keep up. A must win next to get a decent point gap going. Edited June 4 by Zzzeekin

Zzzeekin
3 minutes ago, john1 said: What is the minimum offer would you accept for him? Was thinking maybe AZ or Heerenveen Honestly, as I'm trying to keep it somewhat realistic to how Ajax operate, the £50 - £60M mark would be a fair offer if it had come earlier in the window. I have accepted he'll likely go now which is how Ajax do things anyway, but at least this way we've had another 5 months out of him at least. Nice! I'd go AZ more but that's just me 2 minutes ago, john1 said: Superb result against Liverpool, even you was 2-0 down Yeah, 2 - 0 down 14 minutes in I thought I was in for a hammering but I managed to claw my way back in it like I always do haha
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 8 / HOME v FEYENOORD MATCH REPORT Spoiler I don't know how we keep getting away with it, we were so poor the first 20 minutes before our first goal. We failed to register a single shot whilst Feyenoord were all over us. We come out of the slump and thrash them. TABLE Spoiler That win keeps our perfect start to the season and also opens up a 7 point lead. __________ Unuvuar returns as Butera picks up an injury, missing 4 - 6 weeks. __________ Rensch's emergence as a top talent see's him earn a star player contract - with hopes the payrise and status will keep Europe's elite off his radar for a couple more seasons atleast. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCHDAY 2 / HOME v BORUSSIA DORTMUND MATCH REPORT Spoiler In what was almost certainly our worse performance of the season so far, we laboured to half time registering 3 shots and not having a single key highlight. In truth, the second half we didn't fair much better although we started to grind out chances as the game wore on, until Keizer came off the bench to clinch it for us in the 88th minute. Winning games when you're underperforming is the hallmark of champions I believe TABLE Spoiler Still plenty left to play their 2nd match, but our first win on the board puts us up to 5th. rich ruzzian
The season started really well.
Zzzeekin
SEPTEMBER REVIEW A solid month thanks to player sales with another £5M added to the profit. The narrow win against Dortmund means we finish the month with a near perfect record, the only stain being the 2 - 2 draw at Anfield. 5 clean sheets in the other games is a massive positive. Conceicao tops the scoring charts with 8 goals. Keizer starting the season well with 6 goals already - he only registered 15 goals the whole of last season. Borges awarded for his fine form that see's him register 6 G/A in 4 games. At least when Conceicao leaves, we'll be in good hands! OCTOBER PREVIEW A quiet month but a tough one. PSV away highlights one of our tougher games of the season, whilst Chelsea visit the Johan Cruyff ArenA in the Eredivisie in a game where a win will put us in a strong position. __________ Man City quickly move on from Conceicao, and looking at their squad I'm happy I rejected their advances... They are absolutely stacked in the RW with no less than 5 players who can operate there. I'm sure a move there would have stagnated his career. __________ MATCH DAY 9 / AWAY v PSV MATCH REPORT Spoiler We weren't at the races - but we get the job done. A lacklustre showing saw us score from our only shot on target for 70 minutes before we calmed the game down and saw it out. PSV can feel hard done by, they were the better side. TABLE Spoiler The perfect start continues - just about. _______ Unuvar will miss 2 - 3 weeks, although with the international break now upon us he may only miss one game at most with this. Up next.... We'll see if any of our kids can add to their international caps!
Zzzeekin
INTERNATIONALS Jordy Sanders makes his U21 debut whilst van Doorm adds two more caps to his U19 apperances. A couple other kids were called up but didn't feature. No room for Jaimy Keizer either. __________ MATCH DAY 10 / HOME V PEC ZWOLLE MATCH REPORT Spoiler A comfortable victory at our dominant best, the only stain being the injury to Kian Fitz - Jim TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord keep pace but we are 10 for 10. __________ We lose Kian Fitz-Jim for 2 months, a shame as he has had a positive start to the season. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 3 / HOME v CHELSEA MATCH REPORT Spoiler We were second best for most of this game, and we had to turn to Vos and Unuvar - two players who weren't quite fully fit - to turn the tide. We knuckled down and a 3 goal blitz saw us run out comfortable winners in the end. TABLE Spoiler 7 points from 9 available puts us into the Automatic places close to the half way point __________ MATCH DAY 11 / AWAY v EXCELSIOR MATCH REPORT Spoiler A comfortable win, with Taylor putting another quality shift in. 8 G/A in 11 this season puts him on AC Milan's radar - and it's turned his head slightly. Last season he recorded 19 G/A in 48 games so he's on course to have his best ever season. Conceicao picks up a knock that'll see him miss a few weeks. TABLE Spoiler Beating Excelsior keeps our 7 point gap in tact.
Zzzeekin
OCTOBER REVIEW Our first loss in awhile see's us take a £4.5M bump - a quiet month on the pitch contributing to this. Minus the local friendly battering, we finish the month not only perfect - but we keep a clean sheet in every game to make it 8 games without conceding. Conceicao continues as our best player this season as well as our top scorer. Rensch fresh from his new contract isn't far behind him. __________ NOVEMBER PREVIEW a busier month with two away trips in the Champions League - must win games if we want automatic. FC Twente the standout game in the Eredivisie this month. __________ MATCH DAY 12 / HOME v SC CAMBUUR MATCH REPORT Spoiler With one eye on a Champions League trip to Portugal, we rotated and it showed with little to no chances coming inside the first 25 minutes. Ironically, Unuvar being sent off and the introduction of Hlynsson in his place proved to be what we needed as we blew them away after that. Disappointed to lose our clean sheet streak though. TABLE Spoiler We stay 7 points clear. __________ DUTCH CUP SECOND ROUND DRAW We will host Willem II at the Johan Cruyff ArenA for a top division clash. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 4 / AWAY v BRG MATCH REPORT Spoiler Our trademark slow start kicked us off with a disallowed goal the only reason we didn't go 1 - 0 down. We grew into the game as we usually do and ran out comfortable winners in the end. TABLE Spoiler A long way to go, but at the half way stage we (for now) top the table! __________
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 13 / AWAY v FORTUNA SITTARD MATCH REPORT Spoiler Yet another slow start saw us quickly go behind before labouring for the first half hour barely registering a shot on target. Thankfully we pulled our fingers out and blew them away after we got out of first gear. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord drop points to allow us to open up a 10 point lead. __________ Up next INTERNATIONALS
Zzzeekin
Jaimy Keizer gets his reward for his outstanding season so far, he's firmly a first team talent now and honestly I think we'll only see him stick around for another year or two. __________ INTERNATIONALS Some players picking up their U18 and U19s debuts. Still no room for Jaimy Keizer or Drilon Statovic to add to their U21 caps.

Zzzeekin
2 hours ago, john1 said: Do you think you will get big money for Keizer? If you have to sell him? His value is somewhere around the £80M mark I believe. So I would hope for a minimum £60M. Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 14 / HOME v FC TWENTE MATCH REPORT Spoiler Despite them equalizing with their only shot on target the first half, we ran rampant afterwards to a big win. Defence has conceded every game this month now, which is disappointing - especially when they only had two shots on target here. TABLE Spoiler The charge continues with Feyenoord yet to play. __________ Disappointing loss __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 5 / AWAY v CRVENA ZVEZDA MATCH REPORT Spoiler Going 2 - 0 up and them being a man down you'd think we'd run out comfortably, however their first shot in the game, with an xG of 0.07 no less, at the end of the first half ended up in the back of the net - of course. Thankfully the second half saw no upsets, with their only other shot coming from an xG 0.03 free kick that hit the crossbar. TABLE Spoiler With 5 games played we sit top of the pile, and 4 points clear in the automatic spots. __________ MATCH DAY 15 / AWAY v N.E.C NIJMEGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler Our most professional job yet, restricting them to the point they didn't register a shot the entire game. TABLE Spoiler 11 points clear and cruising with 15 wins from 15. __________ NOVEMBER REVIEW Despite nearly £5M in prize money we record our biggest loss this season. Tax and player wages alone are 50% of our expenditure. Our finances are still very healthy however. Keizer hit 15 goals in 22(27) last season - this season he's already on 12 goals having played just 11(3). Massive improvement from our wonderkid. The obvious positive is we won every game to put us in command of both the Champions League and Eredivisie. The one glaring negative is since going on an 8 game clean sheet streak, we then only kept 1 clean sheet in 6 this month - and most goals conceded were from very few chances. Defence has to keep switched on and do better. Rensch remains our highest average rated player this season, and has more minutes than 90% of our squad. Keizer and Brobbey sit top of the scoring charts for us. # DECEMBER PREVIEW 1 less game than last month however they all 5 take place over 17 days. a big trip to Germany to take on RB Leipzig

Zzzeekin
CONTRACT NEWS Our wage bill tips the £1M a week, although the players I'm expecting to leave this summer will bring it back down - but it was imperative we tied Brian Brobbey down with his contract expiring at the end of next season. Kaplan is our strongest DCL and as such was tied down also. Our youth player Kevin has 3/4* potential which is worth tying down, whilst Jetten's emergence as a first team player coupled with Sosa being scouted by saudi's meant tying him down made the most sense. __________ MATCH DAY 16 / HOME v SC HEERENVEEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler By half time we'd had 21 shots to their 1 and STILL they manage to make that one shot a goal - infuriating, and I told the defence that. Another dominant game, another goal conceded from their only shot on target. It's becoming an issue now. It's like they lose concentration just before half time! TABLE Spoiler We keep the gap the same.
Zzzeekin
17 minutes ago, rich ruzzian said: If you could keep this up in the Eredivisie, you can be champion by the begin of april or maybe earlier. Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 17 / AWAY v WILLEM II MATCH REPORT Spoiler Genuinely thought conceding yet again from their only shot on target all game was going to cause us to drop our first points of the season - until their keeper booted the ball against Borges at the death to hand us the 3 points on a plate. Close one. TABLE Spoiler We keep the 11 point lead. __________ Well now... After promising him game time, I regularly checked the promise tab to see that he was happy with how it was being handled. So imagine my suprise when despite this, he has decided I haven't kept my promise? Strange one, but likely spells the end for Sosa's time at Ajax _________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 6 / AWAY v RB LEIPZIG MATCH REPORT Spoiler No sugar coating it, we were second best until their red card - but we duly took advantage of the extra man to dominate the contest then on. TABLE Spoiler We stay top of the pack. __________ MATCH DAY 18 / HOME v RKC WAALWIJK MATCH REPORT Spoiler Our inability to defend for the last 2 minutes of the first half needs to be studied. Throwing a 2 goal lead at home against 16th place is disgusting. We comfortably won in the end without too much worry, however our defence needs to sort itself out soon. TABLE Spoiler 18/18 __________
Zzzeekin
DUTCH CUP SECOND ROUND / HOME v WILLEM II MATCH REPORT Spoiler Managerless teams are known for being tough in FM and this was no different as we struggle our way to a narrow win. DUTCH CUP THIRD ROUND DRAW Spoiler We travel two 2nd division promotion candidates Heracles Almelo for the third round. __________ Keizer will miss 3 weeks, but with us right on the cusp of the winter break we won't really feel his loss too much.
Zzzeekin
TRANSFER NEWS Al-Ittihad move quickly after Sosa's strop and we take a good price for him. He leaves with our best wishes. __________
Zzzeekin
An award that shows just how good Keizer can be. __________ DECEMBER REVIEW Another loss but the Sosa deal will wipe our last 3 months worth of losses Another clean sweep month - another month with barely any clean sheets... Brobbey takes over Conceicao as our top goalscorer whilst a number of players improve this last month. JANUARY PREVIEW A busy month as we tie up our Champions League League games as well as play a big game away at AZ. Conceicao is being tapped up by the premier league with Chelsea and Italy with Juventus. Taylor has draw interest from FC Bayern whilst Ramaj is turning heads in Saudi. Verkuijl is just loan moves that won't be happening whilst Mannsverk has London outfits Spurs and Arsenal on his back. Could be a bad month for us this. Zzzeekin
A year left on his contract and unlikely to ever feature for the team - we let Zakaria Ouazane move on. __________ MATCH DAY 19 / AWAY v AZ MATCH REPORT Spoiler A tough game, one that we didn't have the legs for after the Christmas break. We were 2nd best for 60+ minutes of this game before we late flurry saw us go closest at the death with Mannsverk putting a shot just wide of the post. TABLE Spoiler Our first points dropped this season. Even with their game in hand we are still well clear however. __________ Hlynsslon picks up a knock that'll see him miss 3 weeks. Zzzeekin
DUTCH CUP THIRD ROUND / AWAY v HERACLES ALMELO MATCH REPORT Spoiler This was a slog of a match, and one that we nearly let run away from us. Conceding from their only two shots on target carries on a trend we really need to get out the habit of. DUTCH CUP QUARTER FINAL DRAW Spoiler A tough away draw against the team that knocked us out last season __________ Sutalo will miss a few weeks now, not ideal. Zzzeekin
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCHDAY 7 / HOME v SC FREIBURG MATCH REPORT Spoiler We dominated the first half and went in with a deserved lead - their only shot being a disallowed goal. They came out slightly more offensive in the 2nd half and had a couple of half chances but we continued to dominate and was comfortable in the end. TABLE Spoiler With that win we are guaranteed a place in the next round. A strong show from the lads in the competition, and being 1 game away from topping the whole table is insane. __________ MATCH DAY 20 / AWAY v FC GRONINGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler With Ramaj saving a penalty, FC Groningen offered little else going forward as we controlled them game for our 19th win of the season. TABLE Spoiler 10 points clear still at the top.

Zzzeekin
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 8 / HOME v FC RB SALZBURG MATCH REPORT Spoiler Despite taking an early lead we go down to our first loss in the Champions League. Despite a very even game our usual pattern of conceding majority of the shots we face on target continues. Something that happens to me across all FM saves with multiple different teams unfortunately - maybe it's just how I play? TABLE Spoiler There's a couple of teams who could take top spot from us now however we have still over achieved even if we finish 3rd. ___________ CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL TABLE RESULTS We qualify in 3rd place, a brilliant finish and one we can be proud of. At the other end, Juventus and Dortmund are the two big names to miss out on CL play offs - whilst fellow Eredivisie heavyweights Feyenoord also miss out on a play off spot __________ JANUARY REVIEW Player sales add to an already impressive balance with a huge £25M profit this month. Despite our love for conceding from every shot on target we are still well ahead of the curve in the league so far. Vos steals an award after making one appearance in the league but having a blinder in it. Despite his poor recent form Rensch remains our best player this season so far - and also our top assister. Brobbey just edges out Keizer as our top goal scorer however the progress made already by Keizer this season it won't be long before he's blowing Brobbey out the water. A mixed bag of a month, a draw to drop our first points this season in the Eredivisie along with our first Champions League defeat of the season left a bitter taste in the mouth of a month that still left us strong in both the Eredivisie and Europe. FEBUARY PREVIEW A quiet month in comparison with the only stand out game being a tough away game against FC Twente - the same team who knocked us out the Dutch Cup last season. __________ MATCH DAY 21 / HOME v GO AHEAD EAGLES MATCH REPORT Spoiler A narrow win, but a dominant one even before the red card. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord keep the pace, although it'll take a monumental collapse for us to fail here. __________ Hato will miss the rest of the month with Amour stepping in to deputise Jetten. __________ DUTCH CUP QUARTER FINAL / AWAY v FC TWENTE MATCH REPORT Spoiler A first half that saw FC Twente register 2 shots on goal with 1 on target saw us still manage to go in behind. There's something about this cup and this fixture that we can't get past. Somehow the Dutch Cup is harder than the Champions League at this point. Zzzeekin
After making his debut in the Dutch Cup, Jordy Sanders pens a new deal at the club with him expecting to be in the squad by 2028. With teams circling Mannsverk, I imagine he'll be pushing the first team soon, __________ MATCH DAY 22 / HOME v ADO DEN HAAG MATCH REPORT Spoiler A much needed win and also a dominant one. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord are yet to play but we can keep our 10 point gap still. __________

Zzzeekin
5 hours ago, john1 said: Indeed! How Keizer looking now? As of posting this, he is the club top goalscorer this season - one ahead of Brobbey playing 50 minutes less. As you can see from last season he has massively improved over the course of the season. He is starting more games now and generally performing at a much higher level with his SoT more than twice what it was last season. Scary part is how long is it going to be before Europe's elite turn towards him! Although it'll be a damn good start to the billion pound challenge.
