Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 23 / AWAY v FC UTRECHT MATCH REPORT Spoiler A tight opening 10 minutes saw us take the lead with our first shot of the game as Borges rifled one into the top corner after a poor clearance from a Rensch cross. Telling the lads to focus did nothing as they went up the other end to miss a chance they really should've converted, but since then his the bar twice to go in at half time 1 - 0 up. 2nd half was a one sided affair, with Brobbey and Kaplan adding a two more at the death to finish the match as a solid away performance. TABLE Spoiler 13 points clear with a game more played over Feyenoord. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND OF 16 DRAW Spoiler A tough first draw sees us heading to Old Trafford as we kick off our round of 16 against Manchester United in March __________ FEBRUARY REVIEW A solid outing in the Eredivisie with 3 wins, 8 goals scored and 0 conceded is overshadowed by yet another Dutch Cup exit at the hands of FC Twente. A quite 4-game month see's us take a £9.2M hit this month, something that should be turned around in the coming months as the fixture list picks up again. Whilst the pass completion ratio is a slight downside sitting under 90% - around the league average - everything else we are overperforming massively in. Not too concerned about tackles as we hold the ball more than any other team in the league. A mixed bag in the shooting with Borges, Hylnsson and Unuvar showing room for improvement - something we'll address in training this month. Rensch remains our highest averaged player however Keizer is hot on his tail. __________ MARCH PREVIEW A much busier month also sees two crunch games against a strong Man United side. League games against Feyenoord and PSV provide the top billing domestically.
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 24 / HOME v FC VOLENDAM MATCH REPORT Spoiler A dominating performance from a team that I made 10 changes to with one eye on Man United. Keizer at the double - the downside being the unwelcome return of the trend that saw us conceded from their only two shots on target. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord keep pace. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND OF 16 FIRST LEG / AWAY v MANCHESTER UNITED MATCH REPORT Spoiler Despite a strong opening 40 minutes where we missed a handful of half chances, Mannsverk's suspension was felt as we found ourselves 2 behind with quickfire goals. Verkuijil - Mannsverk's replacement, was found out again as he gave the ball away cheap early doors to put us 3 behind. United took their foot of the gas and we couldn't find a way through. Had we taken our early chances things could've been a lot different. Mountain to climb in the 2nd leg. __________ MATCH DAY 25 / AWAY v FEYENOORD MATCH REPORT Spoiler In what is likely the hardest Eredivisie fixture of the season, we taste league defeat for the first time in 825 days as an underwhelming showing see's us fall short at Feyenoord. A hard result to take as Keizer left his feet at home, shooting wide with the goal gaping on 3 occasions whilst they scored from their only two key highlights of the game. The water bottle has been thrown, the lads have been told they're training tomorrow. Our 2nd loss on the bounce and with United coming to town, a 3rd loss on the bounce is unthinkable but on the cards here. We move on. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord narrow the gap to 7 points - not ideal but still a comfortable lead. __________ UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ROUND OF 16 SECOND LEG / HOME v MAN UNITED (0 - 3) MATCH REPORT Spoiler A valiant effort, and a good win on the day - unfortunately it wasn't enough to see us through after our first leg disappointment. Despite Boomen's quality finish, the best we could muster was a few half chances as Man United held on and controlled the game to show the gulf in class between the two of us the holders are out of the competition
Zzzeekin
To add to the heartache, Brobbey will miss the next month roughly at a time where Keizer really isn't performing. Our next best striker available is a youth player from 2025 intake with no less than 6 strikers above him out on loan. Whoops.
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 26 / HOME v PSV MATCH REPORT Spoiler Keizer hits a double as Taylor inspires the win from midfield with a dominant display - no wonder Bayern Munich are scouting the £80M rated man. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord get the win to keep the pressure on. _______ UP NEXT A trip to 9th place PEC Zwolle, before the class of 2026 comes home - as well as more international football for our youth.... including a call up for a certain wonderkid.
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 27 / AWAY v PEC ZWOLLE MATCH REPORT Spoiler No excuses for not winning a game where the opponent fails to have a single shot all game. Our form is wavering as the season comes to a close. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord reduced the deficit to just 5 points. __________ MATCH DAY 28 / HOME v EXCELSIOR MATCH REPORT Spoiler Taylor runs the show again as Keizer also finds himself at the double. Will be hard to keep Taylor beyond this summer the way things are going. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord drop points so we extend our lead back to 7 points.... but at a cost. Two big losses heading into the business end of the season. Edited June 28 by Zzzeekin
Zzzeekin
YOUTH INTAKE 2026 On the initial look, we will only be taking 4 players from the class of 2026. Andrea Benelli makes the cut simply because we are low on LBs at the club coming through. Jordy de Leeuw may also end up coming in for the same reason. They'll be integrated into the squad review at the end of the season. As we don't operate with a AMC and Caglayan isn't suitable to play elsewhere, he'll be rough up as 26E but not involved in the squad as we look to sell him in a few years time. Youth contracts run for 5 years in Netherlands and only cost £85 per week so we may bring more in as we look to make profit on them in the future if they look like they have promise. Zzzeekin
Jaimy Keizer is named as the best wonderkid in world football. Some achievement! Jetten, Butera, Kovacs and Faberski are there also but the fact our first crop of youth has produced the best wonderkid in world football is some achievement. He's valued around the £100M mark so a sale would be a good start to completing this challenge

Good to see Keizer the winner We massively overachieved last season, and we overachieved again in the league phase beating teams we had no right to do - we just ran out of steam. I think we'll be ok in the league, the main thing for me now is keeping Keizer for a few more years!
Zzzeekin
MARCH REVIEW A lot less green that we're used to seeing. Despite a home win against Man United we couldn't overturn the collapse at Old Trafford. Feyenoord also ended our 800+ day streak without defeat in the league, but despite dropping 4 points this month we still remain 7 clear at the top with only the league to concentrate on now. A big chunk of Champions League prize money see's us turn a small loss this month. Without player sales the club does struggle to sustain itself. I don't really agree that we are above average defensively as we concede so easy but, I'm the manager - not the data analyst so what do I know! Keizer has taken clear of the goalscoring charts now this season for the first time - whilst Kenneth Taylor pips Rensch to the highest average rating position now. APRIL PREVIEW With the league season coming to an end and being in no cups, the months are a lot quieter now. __________
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 29 / AWAY v SC CAMBURR MATCH REPORT Spoiler Both the scoreline and the stats flatter us - despite a solid performance and a double from Unuvar, we had only managed 4 shots at half time and 1 sole shot on target. TABLE TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord keep the pace, but with 5 games to play and a 7 point gap we're still confident.
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 30 / HOME v FORTUNA SITTARD MATCH REPORT Spoiler Our terrible habit of conceding from every shot on target despite restricting our opponent to only a handful of shots a game continues as we are twice pegged back to somehow go in level at half time. A Brobbey hat-trick however showed us what he can do in place of Keizer, as well as getting us the 3 points. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord get a narrow 2 - 1 win over PSV to stay on our tail. 7 points clear, 12 points to play for. __________ I'm sorry, what on earth do Greece think they're doing there! Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 31 / AWAY v FC TWENTE MATCH REPORT Spoiler In what was one of our more dominant performances in recent months, we were cruising to a comfortable victory until Hato lost Matheus, who bent one into the top corner from 30 yards out for his first goal of the season Still, Unuvar added a late goal to seal the points - but it doesn't change the fact that we yet again conceded every shot on target we faced - something I'm starting to believe is more about the game itself than me. TABLE Spoiler We extend the lead to 10 points - over to you Feyenoord. __________ APRIL REVIEW Keep the reviews short and sweet whilst it was such a quiet month. 3 wins out of 3 keeps us top of the league. Only downside is just the one clean sheet despite only facing 3 shots on target in 270 minutes. Finance wise, we wasn't given a report - but we made a loss of around £10M. Not much surprise there with the month we had. MAY PREVIEW Two home games out of the final three games makes me confident we will keep the title at the Johan Cruyff ArenA. __________ FINAL CLASS OF 2026 After a word with our HOYD, we decide to take a few more players on to buffer the ranks of the U18s as players will leave the club / move into Jong Ajax in the summer

Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 32 / HOME v N.E.C. NIJMEGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler A sloppy start saw us concede first with their first and only shot on target - typical. Goals from Keizer and Borges before half time sent us in with a lead that we kept for the rest of the game. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord's 5 - 0 win doesn't matter as we win our 3rd Eredivisie title __________ _________ MATCH DAY 33 / AWAY v SC HEERENVEEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler A Conceicao double helped us on our way to a comfortable victory - despite us once again conceding to the only shot on target we faced. TABLE Spoiler League table a formality now, with us falling short of last seasons heights - we still did enough to keep the title where it belongs __________ MATCH DAY 34 / HOME v WILLEM II MATCH REPORT Spoiler Keizer signs the season off with a hat trick that puts him on 20 league goals for the season, 28 goals in total. Comfortable with the league wrapped up. FINAL LEAGUE TABLE Spoiler LAST SEASON The sole loss the difference between last season and this, we end the season scoring alot more than last year but conceding more too. Now the season is over, we will review it before doing a full updated squad review.
Zzzeekin
__________ We have a massive 24 players across the 3 teams with contracts that expire at the end of next season so decisions will be made on who gets a new contract and who gets transfer listed. Zzzeekin
SQUAD REVIEW GK (EVERYONE IS ONE YEAR OLDER THAN SHOWN!) Ramaj is incredibly clear as our number 1, however his recent form and ability rise has caused Man United to take note of him. I knocked back a £15m bid for him and he's come straight in complaining that he wasn't allowed to join them. If united revisit with a new bid I'll have to let him go which would leave Charlie Setford and Tom De Graff to fight it out for the remaining spot. Fred-Jan van Emmerik is the newest addition to the GKs, who has already grown since joining us in March. __________ DL Hato and Jetten will remain our starting LBs with Amour and Aissati still some way off the mark. DCL Kaplan and Butera remain our strongest DCLs and will rotate the spot throughout the seadson. DCR DCR much of the same with Sutalo our strongest and Medic providing the cover. Ugwu and Bouwman both lost ability this past season... DR No change to the back 4 as Rench and Gaaei keep their positions for next season. Midfield DM The first change to the team sees 2024 youth prospect Jordy Sanders rise to be our 2nd choice. Mark Verkujil averaged a 6.83 over the season and didn't impress to much so he'll head out on loan whilst Appiah will be our 3rd choice MCL Not much movement in terms of ability. Van den Booman remains our strongest player and with a year left on his contract I won't stand in the way if a bid comes in, likewise I'm happy to use him for another season - maybe longer. Vos is likely 2nd option ahead of Koning and Fitz-Jim MCR Our right side of midfield stays the same with Taylor and Tahirovic clear on that side. Despite Taylor's stellar season, he hasn't grown at all which is disappointing. ATTACKERS AML Hlynsson and Unuvar have grown slightly and stay as our starting LWs, and whilst we are stacked here a few players have worsened over 12 months and with their contracts being up next season, we may see a few move on. AMR Considerably less RW compared to the left, but they are all capable of playing in the first team although contracts will be up soon so some may be leaving. ST Quite a few players have grown massively this last twelve months. Plenty to be loaned out for first team football. Brian, Jaimy and Julian will be our 3 strikers this season. STRONGEST STARTING 11 Our highest average ability since we started. __________ Edited July 8 by Zzzeekin
Zzzeekin
CONTRACTS Plenty of contracts renewed. With our wage budget increased to a massive £3M a week, we could afford to tie down some of the better fringe players just incase we lose some first team players. __________ Despite shooting me down 3 months ish ago, the board come to me and suggest we upgrade so the junior coaching is getting an upgrade!
Zzzeekin
Gaaei's head was instantly turned for the chance of playing for a stronger team and we didn't stand in his way. He averaged a 7.31 last season and was a brilliant deputy for Rensch, so we wish him all the best in the Bundesliga. Gooijer will step in as the deputy now

Zzzeekin
AUGUST PREVIEW A solid start to the season with an away trip to FC Twente being the toughest of the start of the season. __________ JOHAN CRUIJFF SCHAAL / HOME v PSV MATCH REPORT Spoiler PSV took us to penalties in a game that should've been more comfortable, but we have managed the win in the end. __________ MATCH DAY 1 / AWAY v PEC ZWOLLE MATCH REPORT Spoiler Despite ending the game with 10 men due to injuries, we were more than comfortable in seeing out the win as the team dominated every area of the pitch. None of the injuries are serious, with Vos missing a game or two at most. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord dropping points already is the best start we could have asked for. __________

Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 2 / HOME v AZ MATCH REPORT Spoiler A rotated defence as I try to keep players happy resulted in a below average performance against a good team - however despite the threat, we were comfortable in the end. Setford came in for Ramaj as we potentially prepare for life without our star keeper. Rijkhoff scoring his first of the season off the bench in place of the injured Kezier TABLE Spoiler No real update as most other teams still need to play. __________ In something I didn't see coming, the lack of interest from United has caused Ramaj to pull a U-Turn as he decides he's happy to go another season with us. __________ MATCH DAY 3 / AWAY v FC TWENTE MATCH REPORT Spoiler The fixture that has eliminated us from the Dutch Cup the past two season's has a much joyous outcome this time round. A Brian Brobbey masterclass making sure we romped home for an outstanding victory. A return to action for Keizer from his injury also who saw 5 minutes at the end. TABLE Spoiler PSV the only team keeping pace with us. Edited July 9 by Zzzeekin
Zzzeekin
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE STAGE FIXTURES Well this draw has to be the draw of death this season. Games against Arsenal, Barcelona, PSG and Spurs aren't bad enough - we've got OL, Sevilla and Benfica thrown in there for good measure. Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 4 / HOME v FC VOLENDAM MATCH REPORT Spoiler As comfortable as you're going to get. Keizer scoring and missing a penalty whilst Borges and Conceicao pick up the other two in a clean sweep. TABLE Spoiler PSV keep right on our heels. __________ AUGUST REVIEW Our balance breaks the £400M mark for the first time as Champions League prize money puts us into a comfortable month in the profit. The perfect start to the season with the biggest test being the trip to FC Twente. SEPTEMBER PREVIEW The rather large Elephant in the room is the double whammy in the Champions League - as tough a test as you'll ever see to kick off the campaign. Two home games in the Eredivisie gives us a gently 2nd month in the domestic league. __________ MATCH DAY 5 / AWAY v FC UTRECHT MATCH REPORT Spoiler A tough game, one that didn't even feature a shot until the 30th minute. A game that featured 3 of our youth players for the first time didn't go to plan as all 3 failed to perform. TABLE Spoiler For the first time in a long time we find ourselves not at the summit of the Eredivisie. PSV keep their perfect record going as we drop points. __________ MATCH DAY 6 / HOME v FC GRONINGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler What a result. Keizer hat trick and Jordy Sanders showing his range of passing with two superb assists. Ran the show from start to finish, and the perfect preparation as Arsenal land in the Netherlands in a few days time to kick off our Champions League season. TABLE Spoiler League toppers PSV were up there for just the one match day as a draw puts them back under us on goal difference after our routing of Groningen. Zzzeekin
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 1 / HOME v ARSENAL MATCH REPORT Spoiler A cagey game that started with Arsenal on top. Some individual brilliance from Borges got us ahead before we got pegged back by an equally impressive Gabriel Jesus volley. Jorrel Hato screamed one in from outside the box to give us the lead again before Jordy Sanders came off the bench to continue his fine form with a brilliant finish. We are off the mark in the Champions League. TABLE Spoiler The table doesn't take shape so early but important to be winning our home games. ___________ Unfortunate but with an international break coming up we should only miss him for 2 games. _________ Edited July 12 by Zzzeekin
Zzzeekin
UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LEAGUE PHASE MATCH DAY 2 / HOME v BARCELONA MATCH REPORT Spoiler 4 points out of 6 for those opening 2 fixtures would have been a good return that I'd have taken before playing them. However, the nature of the game means that we are woefully disappointed to only take a point with Barcelona scoring from their only shot on target which was in the 92nd minute - their 2nd shot of the game in total. the goal itself came from a over the top ball that both CBs failed to deal with too. TABLE Spoiler We could end up anywhere here after match day 2 but an adequate start against two top teams.
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 7 / HOME v ADO DEN HAAG MATCH REPORT Spoiler A dominant performance. Can't concede if your opponent doesn't even have a shot! Zzzeekin
INTERNATIONALS Statovic adds 2 more senior caps whilst Filippo Selva becomes our 12th youth call up, earning 3 under 19 caps for Belgium. Jaimy Kezier was called up to the Netherlands squad again but wasn't deemed fit enough to earn his first cap. __________ SEPTEMBER REVIEW Finances are doing well with player instalments giving us another solid month of profit. The draw's against FC Utrecht and Barcelona the stains on an otherwise solid month. 4 points from our opening 2 games in the Champions League is a solid enough return whilst we remain top on goal difference in the Eredivisie. OCTOBER PREVIEW Friendly aside, we have a busy month ahead with 6 games starting from the 11th. We had more than enough chances but some incredible defending kept their slim lead. TABLE Spoiler PSV retake top spot after drawing with Feyenoord. __________ MATCH DAY 9 / HOME v GO AHEAD EAGLES MATCH REPORT Spoiler A brilliant response to our loss with a solid victory. Keizer returning to the first team with 2 goals after his injury. Only surprise at this stage was that their 2 shots on target didn't go in! TABLE Spoiler PSV get the win to keep the point on us. __________ MATCH DAY 10 / AWAY v HERACLES ALMELO MATCH REPORT Spoiler Our 2nd 3 - 0 win in a row, and a professional performance on the road. TABLE Spoiler We - temporarily at least - retake top spot until PSV play. __________ MATCH DAY 12 / AWAY v PSV MATCH DAY Spoiler In what was our first 6 - pointer of the season, we come up trumps with a driving Rensch strike deep into the game. Ruben Neves assaulting Lucas Jetten and getting sent off certainly helped in this however as we spent 20+ minutes of the game with the man advantage. TABLE Spoiler 2 points clear and a game in hand - things are looking up! __________ An unfortunate injury as Jorrel Hato is our for a big chunk of the season. __________ DUTCH CUP SECOND ROUND DRAW A tough draw as we travel to FC Utrecht in the Second Round. __________ OCTOBER REVIEW Our first loss this season as the prize money and player instalments dry up. A good month with Willem II defeat being the only stain on an otherwise solid month. 3 conceded, 14 scored, 6 wins. We are in a solid position in the Champions League, and a good position in the League after we beat PSV in their own back yard. Keizer is clear as our highest performing player this season so far, and it's no surprise as his form has been nothing short of miraculous. TABLE Spoiler Guaranteed 4th even if Real Madrid wins means we are in a strong position at the mid way point. __________ Our LB slot is looking mighty abused at this point. TABLE Spoiler Recent wins over PSV an now Feyenoord have allowed us to open up a healthy gap at the top. __________ UP NEXT We travel to France for game week 5 of our Champions League campaign.... This did wake them up, however the only key highlight was an offside Mbappe goal and with them finishing the half with an xG of 0.24 I was happy - the issue was, we wasn't a threat on their goal at all, but I was happy to play that way. Then, the 2nd half started and we continued the same pattern - until a weak penalty was awarded and Mbappe happily dispatched it to give them the lead. With changes made and a more forceful approach given, we found ourselves with 10 minutes of possession which ended in the ref awarding us a penalty - but I just knew the second it was awarded that there was no way this was going to end in a goal. And I was right, as Boomen's Penalty was saved as we fell to a 1 - 0 defeat in France. A result that reflected their dominance, but we can certainly feel aggrieved to have played our game so well as to end in a sole penalty being the reason we lost. TABLE Spoiler A couple of teams still to play could knock us out of the automatic play offs with 3 games to play. Edited July 22 by Zzzeekin
Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 15 / AWAY v NAC BREDA MATCH REPORT Spoiler One of my most pleasing performances of the season against a side who started the game in good form and occupying 6th place in the League. A cagey first half saw us race into a 2 - 0 lead with our only 2 shots on target. mere minutes after the restart however they pulled one back via a deflected strike and I thought we was in for it - but a few instruction changes later and we dominated the entire 2nd half after that, they didn't have a single shot after their goal as we got our reward with two goals late in the game. TABLE Spoiler Feyenoord win comfortably to keep the game to 6 points however we still have a game in hand. __________ NOVEMBER REVIEW Another big chunk of change gone this month as prize money and player installments dry up. Considering we're still £71M in the black so far this season I'm not too worried about these losses. The defeat in France is the only stain on an otherwise solid month as we pick up maximum points in the Eredivisie as well as win on the road in Scotland. The PSG loss was harder to take but on the face of it, they're a much stronger side and we did ourselves proud considering Man United conceded 8 there. Ignoring De Graff's 2 game heroics, Borges is our current highest average rated player. Keizer is still our top scorer this term so far with 11 goals, whilst Taylor leads the way on assists with 7. DECEMBER PREVIEW Christmas approaches as we line up for a busy month - 6 games in 18 days. Travelling to Portugal to take on Benfica is as big a game as any to try and secure an automatic place in the Champions League. Domestically, AZ is the stand out fixture in the Eredivisie - however the big one is the Dutch Cup Second Round away at 4th place FC Utrecht. A trophy that still eludes us. Zzzeekin
MATCH DAY 16 / HOME v N.E.C NIJMEGEN MATCH REPORT Spoiler The sheer fact that we won 3 - 0 but their keeper still got MOTM shows just how dominant we were. Outclassed in every position despite ringing the changes and we can be happy with that performance. TABLE Spoiler We head 9 points clear on the same games played. __________
