Sheriff7
Hallo everyone! Back on with a fresh story! INTRODUCTION NATION https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta CLUB https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valletta_F.C. https://vallettafc.net/ NATIONAL TEAM https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malta_national_football_team https://mfa.com.mt/ MANAGER https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Mifsud SET UP Malta, major European leagues as playable and Portugal, Scotland,USA,Australia as View only because we have some players playing there. IN GAME CLUB WELCOME CLUB INFO HISTORY RECORDS FANBASE NATIONAL TEAM WELCOME NATION INFO RECORDS MANAGER PROFILE *******Some thoughts about this save. First off all Maltese Premier has a few games (just 26) and since my fm time reduced in last year (i became a father) this was very important for me. Also i always sympathized Valleta fc, Malta's most successful team ever is far away from titles for some years now and this season they relegated to second division! (next season Malta will be the only European nation without a club from the capital in first tier!). Another important reason for this fm story is my huge respect about legendary Michael Mifsud, i remember him scoring against ManU with Coventry City and against Greece with tiny Malta! Obviously this will be my last fm24 save and i really want to continue it to fm25 also. Have fun! Edited May 23 by Sheriff7
SteinkelssonFM
When reading the intro, I was kind of hoping the guy with the glasses (Mifsud) would be the fictional manager. He looks like some bad ass mafioso!
gowerNCFC
Good luck mate! Just into season 4 with Balzan - won the league first 3 seasons and into the champions league group stage season 3. The foreign rules are quite lenient if you're using a similar database (14 in the squad and 9 in the match day at anytime). Valetta have fallen off a cliff in my save, lower mid table now and hovering around the relegation play offs. Once you turn pro, the league is a breeze

They were a great project with some very good and talented players for this level. As for Valetta, yeah they are something like fallen giant. Squad rules are more flexible than past for sure. Jogo Bonito
I work with Michael Mifsud here in Malta. Unfortunately it's not THAT one but just a common name The league isn't great quality but that doesn't mean you can't do something good with Valletta. That view of the 'Valletta dome' is visible for me across the water from Sliema after a five minute walk from home! Good luck with this, I'll be watching with interest.

No it isn't the same Michael Mifsud that I work with, it is just a common name haha. In fact most of the names here just seem to be the same small number repeated often (like Borg too as an example). The 'real' one is a true football legend around Malta though, you got that right (slim pickings). Good to see your progress with Valletta going well and that you are picking up 'new Maltese' for the National Team too.

Sheriff7 Posted Sunday at 14:42 Author Share Posted Sunday at 14:42 (edited) SEASON 2025/2026 JUNE/JULY/AUGUST 2025 LAST SEASON REVIEW & EUROPEN COEFFICIENTS As last season review was out we made a huge dive in European coefficients as club.Maltese Premier won 1 place. DEALS SEASON EXPECTATIONS We are already in CL 1st qualifier... TRANSFERS Feratovic loss was huge. He wanted to explore his options but he had already signed a pre contract with Clermont foot (France) since December... IN Joseph and Paul Mbong are brothers and Maltese Internationals. Bonz came to replace Feratovic. R.Vella, Aljofree and Liatsikouras came to give us more depth. STAFF NEW ASSMAN Also we have a new AssMan. Last one left us to be Sta Lucia new Manager. SQUAD AND TACTICAL PLANER We still look for another central midfielder. TACTICS SHEDULE A small but good pre season. A draw in strong friendly against Crvena Zvezda. EUROPE CL FIRST QUILIFIER DRAW AND MATCHDAY 1-2 Probably the most difficult draw we could have. With no newcomers (Maltese transfer window opens 15th of July) we hadn't any chance. At least we gave a good battle in both games. ECL SECOND QUILIFIER DRAW AND MATCHDAY 1-2 We were unlucky in this draw too but in field we were the best team and qualified! With a clear win in our home and an away draw we send Bate back to Belarus! THIRD QUILIFIER DRAW AND MATCHDAY 1-2 Well... I didn't expect this!Of course they were a much better draw from Bate but we smashed them! 11-3(!) on aggregate and we are one step before league stage round! PLAY OF ROUND DRAW AND MATCHDAY 1-2 Our battle against KR of Iceland was more close but again we were the better team. A draw in Valleta and a huge away win send us in league stage round for first time in our history! Also we are the first Maltese club who made it! INFO Great! LEAGUE STAGE ROUND DRAW & SHEDULE We are going to enjoy it! VALLETA PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON ODDS Of course we are hot favourite to retain league title. LEAGUE TABLE (AFTER MATCHDAY 1) With huge rotation (this game was between our European battle against KR) we won local derby against Sliema. OTHER NEWS INJURIES Huge disappointment for Attard. The sponsorship money will hopefully push the local game on, and the inclusion of the Maltese Falcon is a nice touch. BOV have been very strong supporters of the game here though, it is a shame to see them no longer headlining. Yes, shame for you that money won't filter through! CameronFM Posted Wednesday at 06:42 Share Posted Wednesday at 06:42 Some impressive results in Europe! Perhaps unlucky to face Ludogorets at such an early stage, but BATE and KR are no pushovers - you made them look like such!

When I saw Bate o thought ok our European season finished here but after this win everything was possible. KR was very challenging indeed.
Carambau Posted Thursday at 09:32 Share Posted Thursday at 09:32 Congrats on winning against BATE - well done! Good luck in the Group stage I remember Mifsud playing some games for Kaiserslautern back in the day! Sadly, he didn´t make it there and was sold - but what a career
