It's so nice that you have lead them to retain both J.League YBC Levain Cup and Emperor's Cup in the 2035 season! Now, you still have the J.League title left behind as long as you have dominated the league for sure! Hopefully, this will be done as long as Tokyo Metro Ota stays dominant for sure! :)

Just keep winning until getting the J1 title! :D

Thank you as ever for your support. And read on.... :brock:

2035 Season Review

This was our year. We dominated the league from start to finish,  breaking all kinds of J-League records as we finished 1st out of 20 and CHAMPIONS. We scored the Most top flight goals (105), Most wins in the season (30) and Most points in a season (95). We also retained the JFA Emperor's Cup and J-League Cup making it a domestic clean sweep. T

Top scorer was striker Akira Matsumoto scoring 26 goals, with Seung-Jun Son leading the way with 31 assists. The team again broke lots of team records this season, including Most Seasonal Assists by a Player, Most Clean Sheets and Most Goals In A MatchWe finished 1st overall in Goals Scored as we scored near on FIFTY goals more than second place and we tightened up hugely on the back end to end up with our Goals Conceded putting us joint 2nd  overall.

Our offseason business is continue the way we are. There is very little we need for players and there is some big news on the horizon...

Akuma and Hideo sat at their usual table in the Sercow and Hornet pub, but tonight was no ordinary night. Both were wearing brightly colored party hats, their cheeks flushed with the kind of happiness that only comes with years of waiting and finally seeing your dreams come true. They were happily drunk, laughing and singing along with the rest of the bar’s patrons. Their beloved team had done it—they had won a domestic clean sweep. For the first time in their lives, Akuma and Hideo had seen their club not only win the J-League title, which they thought was beyond them, but also sweep the Emperor’s Cup and the J-League Cup. “Can you believe it, Hideo?” Akuma slurred, his voice thick with emotion. “The league…we actually won the league!”

“I never thought I’d live to see it, Akuma,” Hideo replied, his voice equally wobbly as he downed another drink. “We’ve watched this team for fifty years, and I’ve never seen anything like it. They didn’t just win, they dominated. Every game, every trophy—nobody could touch us!” The two men shared a moment of awe, as if they were still processing the enormity of what had happened. After years of watching their team fall short, they had never seen such a relentless, dominant side. “And you know who we owe it all to, right?” Akuma said, his eyes lighting up as he leaned closer. “Son. That boy is something else.”

Son Seung-Jun, the South Korean wonderkid, had been the heart and soul of this incredible season. Not only had he signed a new contract with a staggering 5 trillion yen release clause—effectively tying him to the club for the foreseeable future—but he had also provided 31 assists throughout the season. “Thirty-one assists, Hideo!” Akuma exclaimed, still amazed. “He practically handed us the league on a silver platter. And to think, we were worried he’d leave for Europe. Now, no one’s getting him without breaking the bank.” Hideo nodded enthusiastically. “Son made the whole team better. I don’t think we’d have won anything without him. He’s a genius.”

But it wasn’t just the trophies and Son’s brilliance that had the two old friends celebrating. There was also news from the club chairman that had filled them with hope for the future. “Did you hear, Akuma?” Hideo asked, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “The chairman’s started the search for a site for a new stadium. Back in Ota, where we belong. No more playing our home games in Kawasaki.” Akuma’s face broke into a wide grin. “Back home at last,” he said, raising his glass. “That’s the cherry on top. A new stadium, after all these years? We’ve come full circle.”

As the night went on, Akuma and Hideo laughed, sang, and toasted the greatest season of their lives. They were celebrating more than just trophies; they were celebrating history, a new future, and the realization of dreams they thought might never come. “To Son, to the chairman, and to coming home,” Akuma said, raising his glass one last time. Hideo clinked it, his voice full of pride. “And to the greatest team we’ve ever seen.” The two drank deeply, their hearts full, knowing that no matter what happened next, this season would be one they’d never forget.

Red Sun Rising - Season 14

Working for the Weekend* (*New stadium)

We achieved our league target last season, winning it all. This year the board want a repeat performance in us to Win the J1 League in conjunction with winning both the J.League Cup and the JFA Emperor's Cup. Also, the board want us to make the knockout stages of the Asian Champions League. No reason we shouldn't be up there with the best this season. Unless we get ridiculously raided of course.  We were given a £105m warchest and a £1.5m wage budget, which is beyond insanity. It'll cover the wage rises everyone is sure to demand ffs!

Finally, it has happened! You have finally lead them to their first J1 title, which was definitely glorious! Now that's what I called a sweet victory to finally collect that trophy in the history books! Now, all you have to do for this new season is to defend the AFC Champions League crown and then, complete another treble in the domestic level. Things are about to get even better than ever and this is truly an amazing run that you have!:D

Congratulations on your first domestic league title and completing history in the 2035 season! :)

We had virtually no needs this season and, in fact, were rapidly approaching the point where we needed to sell players to keep us balanced, whether they be good or backup

In the first leg of the 2035/36 Asian Champions League Final, we looked at a replay of last season's final. Once again, Tokyo Metro Ota City drew with Saudi giants Al-Ahli to a 1-1 draw, setting up a tantalizing second leg. Tokyo Metro, trying to retain their crown, matched the four-time finalists in an tight contest filled with attacking flair and moments of drama. The Japanese side will now head home to Japan with a valuable result, keeping their hopes alive for a historic repeat.

The match began with high intensity, and it was Al-Ahli who struck first, taking the lead in the 18th minute. A slick passing move down the right saw their talismanic striker slot home from close range, silencing the Al-Ahli crowd. Despite the early setback, Tokyo Metro quickly responded, growing into the game with their trademark fluid style. On 30 minutes, top scorer Mao Kurata leveled the scores with a brilliant solo effort, weaving through two defenders before finishing low into the corner.

The 1-1 scoreline reflected the balance of the contest, with both teams displaying quality in attack and resilience in defense. As the clock wound down, neither side could find a winner, setting the stage for a thrilling second leg in Japan.

Tokyo Metro Ota City will leave the first leg with a sense of both pride and caution. While the draw puts them in a challenging position for the return leg, their performance showed they can possibly retain their title. Al-Ahli, with their experience in finals and in playing Tokyo last year, will head home confident, but Tokyo Metro's fighting spirit will ensure that the title race remains wide open.

Tokyo Metro Ota City Retain Asian Champions League Title in Thrilling Final Against Al-Ahil

Tokyo Metro Ota City successfully defended their Asian Champions League title with a 2-1 victory over Saudi side Al-Ahil in the second leg of the 2035/36 final, replicating last year's showdown between the two clubs. In front of a packed stadium, Tokyo Metro clinched their second consecutive title and condemned Al-Ahil to their fourth defeat in the competition's final, and their second straight loss to the Japanese giants.

The breakthrough came in the 35th minute, when Tokyo Metro took advantage of a moment of madness from the Al-Ahil goalkeeper. In an attempt to claim a high cross, the keeper misjudged the ball, leaving himself stranded. Mao Kurata, unmarked, leapt to meet the cross and headed the ball into an empty net, much to the dismay of Al-Ahil’s defense. The goal put Tokyo Metro in control and shifted momentum firmly in their favor as they sought to secure back-to-back titles.

Just after the restart, the holders doubled their lead when Satoshi Nagi calmly converted a penalty in the 48th minute. The spot-kick was awarded after Son Seung-Jun, Tokyo’s talismanic winger, was brought down by the Al-Ahil full-back in full flight, resulting in a yellow card for the defender. Nagi sent the goalkeeper the wrong way, extending Tokyo Metro’s lead and putting them on the verge of victory.

Al-Ahil fought back, however, and managed to pull a goal back in the 71st minute when they squeezed a shot in at the near post, reducing the deficit to 2-1. Despite mounting pressure, the Saudi side could not find a way past Tokyo’s resilient defense in the closing stages. Tokyo Metro held on to secure yet another victory over Al-Ahil, completing a remarkable title defense and further establishing themselves as the dominant force in Asian football.

End of August 2036 Transfer Window

Well, this was a very interesting window for us. We were currently 49 not out for unbeaten games, but we were absolutely decimated in this transfer window. Lots of offers unsettling players and we had to let them go for their release clauses, including breaking our team and national transfer record again.

Ouch! Did you lose many players who you'd have preferred to keep, @Deisler26 ?

I guess that means you'll need to spend some (or all) of that transfer money generated to bring in replacements?

Almost all of them. They were all my first team players. I'm not actually going to replace them as I have a ton of players out on loan and they will get the chance to fight for a spot.

The 33 year old club legend had his testimonial in front of a packed house as Dortmund beat us 2-1. He looked like he was out of the club last season but has come back in a big way this season

2036 Youth Intake

This intake looks better after we lost a ton of talent, and in places where we do need infusions of better prospects. Let's look at the Top 3

1. 558caf40228856b63ed64516c73869d6-removebg-preview.png.6179aed241edece2932f5e4d857abd94.png Keiji Oishi, 16, Center Back - We were in deep need of a centre back prospect and Oishi could prove to be that guy

2. a7a65ab5e152ab082db34c4e6dd45b98-removebg-preview.png.279f1afbc50c55199ae71c3ab03d6551.png Kotaro Suzuki, 16, Central Midfield - Another player to join our AP pipeline. He'll have a ton of time to develop, due to the players in front of him.

3. 3e822d9313d79bfcfbbb5d3535277e46-removebg-preview.png.69eab1448679b3a9a4ccea3e600076ba.png Yusuke Okamoto, 15, Central Midfield - This guy is going to be our only prospect in the BWM mould, so he'll have to learn quick to get a spot going forward

 Don't you just love it when a player does something like that to surprise you in a positive way, @Deisler26 ?

He came in this season, due to an injury to my main target forward and started putting the ball in the net again, so I sold my backup to keep him going. When he retires, I’m going to retire his squad number
