Romania was one of the top countries for bargains over the years; Stanciu, Cristian Tanase, Bogdan Stancu, Razvan Rat, Silviu Lung Jr., Vlad Mihalcea, as well as Coman and Man who are both playing today, I think that's why I've got a bit of a soft spot for them

I hope they can sustain it throughout the second half. I don't get the feeling that either side is really capable of sitting in to protect a lead, so I'm optimistic.

Always had a soft spot for Romania as I’ve said many times 94 was my favourite World Cup, which is why Hagi and Stoichkov are two of my favourite players of all time.

And Super Dan Petrescu obviously, was heartbroken when he left for Chelsea.

Plus Brasov is beautiful.

Also have a soft spot but more so for 98. First tournament I have any memories of, so of course a team full of bleached haired players was a highlight.
