Hoofenballen
Work rate, stamina, positioning, decisions and teamwork i would consider to be the "fundamentals" of adopting this approach for winning the balls high up the pitch

And I would add aggression because I think it is how involved a player want to be in every action. When I use a player with high aggression I can tell he presses a lot more than players with lower aggression.

Mutumba
9 hours ago, Aoyao said: How does player's balance work in FM game? It decides how well the player can keep his balance both on and off the ball. I think its mainly important for attacking players when they are dribbling and are often on the recieving end of tackles, pushes and kicks

A player with good balance is more difficult to influence, it's useful under pressure on the ball: An agi/balance combo can be a substitute for strength A BWM w/ a good agi/balance combo can dive in quite easily Players who will look to run with the ball Players who will challenge in the air or holdup the ball Playmakers who play on the turn, in tight spaces Press resistant players Edited June 26 by Cloud9
Panosgeo79
From my experience Aggression Bravery Anticipation Teamwork Work rate Stamina Pace Acceleration Keep in mind these and sign players according to these attributes
kingjericho
High pressing you must have Stamina and Work Rate. Look for physical and mental attributes first, then technicals
fc.cadoni
I will look into preset Gegenpress training schedules to see what attributes train.
CJ_Randell
I'd say the basics were Teamwork, Work Rate, Stamina and Natural Fitness. You need your players to be able to work hard, work for each other, play at their best for 90 minutes and recover well between games.
