So this is my new club, Solin in the Croatian second division. Let's see whether we can make them a great club. This is what the squad looks like.

We have signed an entire Hajduk Split second eleven and we have got some more players, Fernando Meneses, Siyanda Zwane and Christian Osaguona on free transfers. We also let a lot of players go out on loan, so I hope this balances out our squad well.

I am now the new manager of Barito Putera in Indonesia. This is what the squad looks like and it is a fantastic opportunity to expand my football experience after managing a club in Croatia previously on the save.

I resigned from Barito Putera after just about four and a half months in charge. I thought that it was an interesting experience to manage in Indonesia, but the quality from the players just wasn't quite there.

I am back in Indonesian football, and this time I am the manager of fellow relegation struggler in the league, Bhayangkara. We are 16th in the league and we need wins off our last four games to escape the drop. I hope we do it. This is what the squad looks like.

We got relegated with Bhayangkara. The club reverted to semi professional status and I was offered a new contract with a transfer budget of 0 pounds. I resigned from the club immediately. I stayed there only for 13 days.

It is not so easy to create a sustainable level of progress, and the clubs are also proving to be selfish when they are not letting me get my coaching badges.

I now have a new club. I am now the new manager of Baynounah SC in the UAE Second Division. I can only hope that things turn around in my career and I do well. This is what the squad looks like. After the career bruising experience in Indonesia, it is good to have a change of scenery.

Fleetwood United?!

Absolutely mental that they have a sister club in Dubai! Such a random little bit of information that I'd never have known had you not posted the league table!

Good luck next season!

Yes Fleetwood United have a sister club in Dubai. It is really good for developing players here in Dubai and possibly preparing them for the side in England.

Thank you very much.

Mid season update of Baynounah SC (2024-25 season)

13 points from 13 games, comfortably off the bottom of the league, we are in 11th place and we hope we can rack up some important wins this season.

Sacked by Baynounah SC after just over 7 months in charge. We left them in 13th place after an eight match winless run. Things were promising earlier in the season but it is a shame that I have to go.

I now have a new job. I am currently the manager of Montana in the Bulgarian Second Division. It is an interesting opportunity. At this point of time I only want to work. I feel like a manager who is rich in experiences and that is the beauty of the game. This is what the squad looks like.

This is an interesting story that you have, which I'll be more excited to see how you'll get in as you have moved out from your former team to a new home. Can you tell what happened to these teams after you left, especially to Baynounah FC and who is their manager right now?

I hope that you'll have a better journey that you have after the previous runs were ended abruptly. Good luck in Bulgaria!

Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

Baynounah SC have recovered quite nicely and are in midtable in the UAE Second Division. Bhayangkara are also doing well this season, they are 2nd in the Indonesian Second Division group stage. Barito Putera have been awful and are fighting relegation from the Indonesian Second Division. NK Solin are fighting relegation in the Croatian Second division this season as well. So not much better after an initial new manager bounce last season.

We got relegated on the final day of the season with Montana and I got sacked. Difficult to take, a win on the final day meant that I would have stayed up but it wasn't to be. I stayed at the club for nearly 6 months.

Let's see where I go next.

The crazy part was I got a new contract days before I was sacked.

This is how the summer transfer window went. We have significantly strengthened the squad and I am very pleased about the improvements made. Hopefully we can do our best to compete for the Indian Super League title.

Sacked by Chennaiyin FC after nearly 7 months in charge. Bottom of the league after 5 points in 11 games. To be honest we improved a lot over the summer but we could not register all the players, so some of the players were not of very good quality. Hopefully the next experience is better.

Yes hopefully. The only way in which I am emulating Mourinho at the moment is being sacked by the last 3 clubs I have managed.

You know how they say, "Go to a place where you are respected and celebrated than a place where you are tolerated." The opposition manager in my supposed upcoming game was absolutely taking the **** by admitting he lacked respect for me. If I am not in a league where I am wanted and where opposition managers wish they could play my team every week, then I am leaving. And that's what I did. I resigned as Warrenpoint manager after just under 3 months in charge.

Sacked by Dolny Kubin after just over a month in charge. Got relegated from the Slovak Second Division. Can't seem to catch a break in management. I keep on repeating that I hope the next experience is better but it does not seem to translate onto the pitch. However, this time I am hoping for a club to believe in me and give me time so that I can build foundations at the club.

It's so nice that you managed a Japanese club, which I'm very impressed that you'll go for it! Anyway, any progress on your former teams when heading to Osaka? Are they looked good enough including your former teams that you got fired?

Can't wait for your journey in Osaka will be promising as it would be!

Thank you, I will update you on the progress of my former teams. So Montana and Dolny Kubin got relegated to a non playable division. Chennaiyin FC survived in the ISL with a new manager. Warrenpoint survived in the Northern Irish second division with a new manager. Baynounah SC finished near the bottom in the UAE Second Division but survived. Bhayangkara got promoted from the Indonesian Second Division but Barito Putera got relegated to a non playable division. NK Solin finished midtable in the Croatian Second Division.

As far as Japan is concerned, I am enjoying it so far and I am looking forward to seeing what I can do there.

Mid season update. (2026 season)

My first success story? I have gotten FC Osaka out of the relegation zone. We have won 4 out of our first 10 games and we have played really well. I am confident we will avoid relegation from the J3 League. Finally my style of football is working somewhere at the moment and long may it continue.

End of season review. My first success story in this save. I avoided relegation with FC Osaka. We finished 17th in the league. Honestly I am really happy, after so many failures and so many sackings and resignations I have finally found my feet somewhere. I also got offered a new contract to stay at FC Osaka.

This is how the January transfer window went in 2027. Lots of incomings and outgoings in the transfer window. Our squad here at FC Osaka needs time to adapt. We signed another new contract with the club.

Sacked by FC Osaka after just over a year. It was a success overall. Obviously I got sacked because I went on a 12 game losing streak in the league and it was deserved. But we had our successful moments as we avoided relegation in the previous season and I would say that was a major success because I had not kept a team up before that. Fair enough, the board decided to sack me. But by no means this job was a failure. I also promoted a lot of youngsters this season and while they have not been able to click, I have played my part in blooding them in. Now it is up to the next manager to unleash their potential.

WOW! That didn't last long after only just a year with a string of losing games, which I'm not impressed on how the second season goes. As far as concerned, how does FC Osaka would be like after you got fired and went to a different team in India. I hope that you'll also show some roster of it as well as how J.League looked like at the end of 2026 and mid-2027 season. Hopefully, you'll get a better job in Japan if you're willing to come back soon.
