We needed central defenders and brought in veteran Tuia and talented Moretti. Crescenzi and Pierozzi are full backs, Cioffi, Nocerino and Edera are wingers. Tumminello and talented Conti play in attack. The Team Goal Lezzerini will be our number one. Defence We lost our key defenders before the season but hopefully we brought in some good replacements. Midfield Our central midfield looks very good, lets see what the wingers can do. Attack Bianchi & Moncini will be the attacking pair. Key Player We will depend on his goals this season. Tactics We will favor a technical and quick-countering approach. Board Expectations We should be able to do that. Pre-Season Friendlies We got going slowly but now the engine seems to be running smoothly. Let´s start the season! A good response to the cup defeat. Moncini with a hat trick. The red card helped us a lot to draw this match. We should have scored way more but in the end we are happy with the 3 points. Our winger Cioffi was the match winner with his 2 goals. A dominating win against the former Italian giants. The game was already over after 45 minutes. Sudtirol showed why they are among the promotion favorites. We could have scored more but took it easy after the break. League Table Here we are in the promotion places. Cioffi had to leave the pitch before half time and Bianchi missed a penalty. Only point for us. Lady Luck was with us today. Bianchi scored the only goal. The day of the backup striker. An important win against a promotion rival. 24 shots and only 4 goals. Moncini with the winning goals. We got our revenge against them with 2 stoppage time goals in the first half. We countered their early shock goal immediately and from then on it was smooth sailing. FeralpiSalo seem just not good enough for Serie B. This time we could not counter the early goals. There was never any doubt that we would win this. It is always nice to get this feedback from our fans. League Table Parma got a bit closer to us. Carambau Posted July 10 Author Share Posted July 10 (edited) La Leonessa End of Season 2024/25 Team Stats Bianchi lived up to the hype and delivered and consequently won the Player Of The Year Award. Of the new signings, winger Edera was the one that stood out the most, together with fellow winger Cioffi who did not exactly perform as good. Midfielders Besaggio as deep lying playmaker and Bisoli as ball winning midfielder powered a well running central midfield engine. On the wings it was Edera and Galazzi who delivered the crosses to Bianchi and Moncini, who himself scored 23 goals. Lezzeri was a reliable keeper throughout the season and was also voted Goalkeeper Of The Year. Adorni and Cistana held our central defense together nicely while the forward runs of wing backs Jallow and Huard contributed massively to our goal tally. Fogliata showed signs of his talent, together with Amoako Nuamah. Maybe we will send them on loan next season to get more match practice. Tuia will retire at the end of the season. In the end our team was voted Best Team In Serie B and Joe Baxter won the Manager Of The Year Award. Carambau Posted July 11 Author Share Posted July 11 (edited) La Leonessa Start of Season 2025/2026 Transfers We loaned our most talented youngsters out to our affiliate Lumezzane in Serie C. Huard wanted to follow the money. Paghera never settled here. We were missing a new left wing back after Huards departure for Saudi Arabia and we brought in Argentinian Angelo Martino for 1.2M. And we welcome back central defender Papetti! After just one season and only 1 game for Mainz he joined us on loan for this season and will join permanently afterwards. Sturaro should serve as a backup ball winning midfielder. Paavola can play on both wing back positions but will also only be a backup. Rovida is a goalkeeper talent, maybe he will play the cup games. Stankovic and Romano are young midfield talents. The Team Goal Lezzerini remains our number one, but Rovida is there to challenge in the long term. Defence Happy to have Papetti back. Martino is a great addition for our left side. Midfield No big changes. Sturaro adds experience. He played for Italy 4 times. Attack Bianchi & Moncini will be the attacking pair. Just like last season. Key Player He absolutely delivered last season. Let´s hope he does it again this season. Tactics No changes here. Martino adds quality on the left. And we made it to the 2nd round of the Coppa Italia. We had a good start into the game and the game was over by half time. A kind draw. Our first win. We had to fight hard to secure those 3 points. A very good display and we maybe could have even achieved more if Galazzi wasn´t sent off, after that they turned the game around. Pioli was full of praise after the game. Moncini secured us a point. It again could have been more but it just wasn´t to be on that day. League Table I forgot to take a picture of the league table but we are sitting in mid-table. Results Not a single win this month. But the opposition was strong. A fantastic performance from us saw us grab a vital point from Juve. It was a real fight as can be seen by the number of yellow cards. Their efficiency made the difference. We lost the Derby. We just could not respond to their double fire shortly after the break. To add pain to our misery, our playmaker will be our for around 3-4 months. What a disgusting match! They only had FOUR shots on goal but scored 3 while we had SEVENTEEN. Tumminello showed that he is still there too but it was not enough. Finally. An early goal by in-form Tumminello secured our first win in a long time. But Frosinone were really underwhelming. We won the game with 2 very late goals against the Serie B outfit. Not a very convincing match and not one to improve our confidence. And the 3rd round draw did not produce happy faces either. Football is strange sometimes. When you think things can´t get worse, Tumminello shows up and rescues us a point against Napoli. We took the lead early in the game. Zizo already joined last year, Matheus Alexandre is our new right back now. The board had to take over the negotiations after I asked them to provide the cash for this transfer. Results The new year started well for us. We beat the great AC Milan after a great response to their 2 goals. Tumminello to the rescue again! His goal proved decisive once more. A tight game as the points were shared. We played mostly bench players and youngsters as we did not expect to win this game anyway. The scoreline is a bit too high though. A boring game. Simone Edera wants a new contract and got told to wait until the season for talks. He just improved his chances. An injury time winner! Bianchi rescued us once more. But it was deserved in the end. Pure domination. Venezia never had a chance. We left it rather late to score though. Lady Luck smiled upon us again. We went 2 goals ahead and thought we could sail home safely after the break. But then we had to weather a storm to earn the 3 points. It´s Inter after all. At least Bianchi could add to his goal tally. League Table No, we won´t get delusional. More than a draw wasn´t possible here. A good result for our fans although it wasn´t a win. A home defeat to end the season. League Table We finished 11th. Playmaker Besaggio also had a good season with 7 assists. We conceded 56 goals which is a but much, but our defense had to gel first with all the new signings there. Papetti, Martino and Matheus Alexandre got better the longer the season went. Youngster Fogliata impressed when he had to stand in for the injured Besaggio for 3 months. New backup keeper Rovida had some games but did not really stand out, just like Paavola and Sturaro. Some people will have to leave after this season as we plan to bring in new, better players. Thanks mate It was a good season, but this save will take longer than usual to build a title challenging squad I realize, it is much more difficult to get decent players/improvements to the current squad than in past FM saves I did... but that makes it interesting And yeah, Bianchi is essential to our squad, I wonder when the first offers will fly in... Additionally, we needed more depth in central defense and brought in the former 2 time Italian international Mattia Caldara and Swiss Adrian Durrer. Alberto Lattanzio can play on both sides in defense, while Nicolai Poulsen and Grant Margeman are ball winning midfielders to multiply our options in central midfield. Francisco Salvador is an experienced striker. The Team Goal Dovin is the clear number one, Lezzerini and Rovida are the backups. Defence We added more depth here. Midfield Olzer came back from his loan and provides another option in midfield. Attack Only Bianchi has a secure starting place. The others will battle it out for a place beside him. Key Player He is carrying the team. Hopefully we can hold on to him. Tactics No changes here. Dovin and Matheus Alexandre added more quality. He only came on in extra time and had an immediate effect. Still, hats off to the Serie B team. The game was over with 3-0 at half time. Super sub Fogliata scored our winner deep into stoppage time. Olzer rescued us a deserved draw against the current champions who only had ONE shot on target scoring 2 goals. Bianchi missed a pen but a win for us would´ve been highly undeserved. I don´t like this team. It was about time Bianchi exploded again. A fantastic victory in Rome to get us back on track again. League Table I would be happy if this was the final table. Good riddance! Results We started to win games again. We just didn´t do enough to close the game. They came back and snatched a draw. Finally. The more I look at this, the worse it looks. Matheus Alexandre is getting on my nerves with his disciplinary record. And out of the Cup we go. Palermo somehow never look good against us and it was the same again this time. Valuable 3 points. I said they should stick to motorsports. They didn´t listen. Away against the reigning champions we never had the slightest chance. Despite playing with 10 men for most of the time, we managed to defeat big Juventus! A win for passion and amore! The lads were tired but who can blame them after that great win against Juventus? Bianchi in good form again, scoring the winner for us. Dolce vita! League Table Suddenly 7th place is a European place? What happened? Even Pep is impressed! When in Rome... well, we weren´t IN Rome technically, but we beat them with their own means, in stoppage time! They won the game in the last minutes but it didn´t matter. Lazio lost against Milan in the Coppa Italia final! League Table What a season! In the end we finished 7th and qualified for the Europa Conference League. Carambau Posted July 18 Author Share Posted July 18 (edited) La Leonessa End of Season 2026/27 Team Stats Bianchi is getting better every season it seems. He managed to score 20 goals despite being out for around 4 months, which was the time when we were struggling the most in the league. New striker Salvador was able to at least compensate for him a bit and scored vital goals during that time, improving his standing in the team. Our new keeper Dovin turned out to be the real deal! He saved us many points with his great performances and I think without him we would not have ended up in Europe! Consequently, he was voted Goalkeeper Of The Year! Martino had a solid first season for us as well, keeping our defence tight. Our young players out on loan did very well and I am planning to probably give them some runs in the first team next season, especially our 2 Lucas, who have just been called up to the Italian U20 World Cup team. In contrast, Tumminello will leave us after this season. Experienced Pietro Ceccaroni gives our central defense more depth, Ivan Cordoba is a talented defender who can play every positon at the back, Jean-Baptiste Gorby is a strong ball-winning-midfielder, Riccardo Ciervo, Antonio Rodriguez and Karim Benmoussa give us more options on the wings and Vanja Cuk and Claudio Gilardino are our new striker options. Rashed Al-Bloushi joins our U18s. The Team Goal Dovin is still the clear number one, Lezzerini and Rovida are the backups. No changes in this departement. Defence We added more quality here. Hopefully Ivan Cordoba can live up to his famous name. Midfield Gorby is planned as the successor of Bisoli who is getting old. Attack Bianchi and Cuk will be the starters at the beginning of the season. Key Player Yeah, it is still him. Tactics No changes here. Gorby, Cuk and Rodriguez add quality. Bianchi is delivering well for you, but it might be tough for your squad to navigate the extra fixtures ahead. Good luck with that. Fortunately we didn´t concede and shut the game down in stoppage time. A pity we could not make the most of their red card. After all, it is Juventus.
