Makoto Nakamura Posted July 12 Author Share Posted July 12 (edited) 2025/26 End of Season Review It really rubs salt into the wounds losing two of our last three games of the season but being able to easily defeat Buducnost 4-0 in the penultimate game! We end up a massive fourteen points ahead of Jedinstvo in 3rd place, hopefully next season we're able to strengthen a bit more and get a bit luckier when it comes to injuries and we can properly push Buducnost! We managed to make up for it a little bit with our second cup victory in three seasons! Mostar will be a rather difficult opponent to overcome. Expectations have been raised now as well! Predicted miles ahead of Jedinstvo, but miles behind Petrovac. And we've strengthened some more! Makoto Nakamura Posted July 14 Author Share Posted July 14 August 2026 A busy old month where we managed to push SK Sturm Graz very close only losing 6-5 on aggregate and getting close to our first group stage appearance! Things have been looking up in the league as well as we move up to 3rd. The money gave us a youth recruitment upgrade but the board rejected my appeal for a junior coaching upgrade. This may be because Buducnost have two games in hand on us since they've qualified for the Europa League group phase but we can enjoy it whilst it lasts! We also absolutely hammered struggling 2nd tier side FK Podgorica in the Kupa Crne Gore Round of 16 which puts us up against another 2nd tier side in Rudar in the Quarter Finals. Petrovac are still hot on our heels as we come up to the halfway point. We got the upgrade I wanted! Another thing I noticed, whilst looking through Buducnost's fixtures is that the Turkish Cup was won by the team that finished 14th in the Turkish 2nd tier which meat they qualified for the Europa League group phase, love it when things like that happen. Pros: We beat Buducnost on the penultimate day of the season to send us top. Cons: We then lost away to Sutjeska on the final day of the season to hand the title to Buducnost anyway. When you have two players sent off in three minutes things don't usually go in your favour. And now we have a tough draw in the Conference League. Makoto Nakamura Posted July 15 Author Share Posted July 15 February 2028 We stumble again in the league but we're only one point off of Buducnost, we pull off another upset as we beat Panathinaikos 6-5 on aggregate thanks to a 120th minute goal sending us through to the last 16 where we'll be facing Basel! Buducnost also won their Europa League playoff 4-3 against AEK and they'll be facing Trabzonspor in their last 16 match! A busy winter window as well! Rosenborg went on to lose 3-1 in the final but what a run! And then to top it all off we STILL couldn't win the title. We did amazingly to keep Marseille down to a 2-1 aggregate loss but between that we lost away at Rudar and only held Buducnost to a draw at home whilst we still have to face them away from home.
