Psychedelics_Heal
Are more or less skills being trained when you train a position vs training a specific role like D(C) central defender + duty? What are Pro’s / Con’s of training position vs role/duty? Does it make a difference? Training Pic
DPM128
Training the position improves the players familiarity playing in that position while the attributes are not specifically trained. Training a role/duty improves familiarity and also focuses a players training on specific attributes. I am personally unsure of good use cases for training position over role/duty. The only case I can think of off the top of my head is when you want to train the position but you want to allow the users attributes to grow naturally. Psychedelics_Heal
Yeah the assistant coach will set training position over role/duty for many players. Weird.
DPM128
In my experience (Nintendo switch) when training is left to the assistant coach, they will start with position and then transition to role/duty for all players except goalies. Goalies are left as position. That said, I think I have had the same assistant coach for awhile in my save, so I am unsure if there is a preference for what coaches will do.
