Makoto Nakamura
August 2030 Ah, oh dear. Not the best of starts for us. Our second player poached! We're a weaker side in this tournament but hopefully we can pull off some upsets! Edited August 28 by Makoto Nakamura
Makoto Nakamura
September 2030 Much better! A surprise win over PSG, two wins in Europe (We've really gotten quite lucky with the draw!) and a solid month in the league as well!
Makoto Nakamura
October 2030 Another mixed month but at least we're still getting some points, even if it was just away at bottom side Montpellier!
Makoto Nakamura
November 2030 Almost perfect! Just the draw away at Nantes which in itself was a great comeback!
_Ben_
Making it look too easy, as always, Makoto! I was going to post a couple of seasons back about that Argentine lad - Taborda - but then saw he'd left! Can you post a screenshot of his attributes now please because I thought he looked insane for his age!

You've got insane facilities and your hands are tied, at this stage, to play these kids, whereas he's wasted away in Lyon 2 at the level you started at a few years ago. Makoto Nakamura
December 2030 Ouch. I wouldn't say we fell apart but three narrow losses at home to teams in the top six doesn't do us any favours as we fall right down to 11th.

The only positive is that he's wanted by Benfica. At least Juddy Mayele who we lost at the start of this season has gone straight into the Monaco first team. Makoto Nakamura
January 2031 Just the one league game in a really good month as we qualify for the last 16 of the Europa League in 3rd place, far better than I expected!
Makoto Nakamura
February 2031 A difficult end to the month away to PSG & Monaco but a good month on the whole and we now have a Coupe de France Semi Final against Nice to look forward to as well as a last 16 Europa League tie against Wolfsburg. Edited August 29 by Makoto Nakamura
Makoto Nakamura
2030/31 Youth Candidates Judging by our current first team players, 3.5* is between a good Ligue 2 and decent Ligue 1 level player, so certainly lots of potential! I'm gutted that the Tahitian is rated so lowly though, maybe it means he's more likely to play for Tahiti though!
Makoto Nakamura
March 2031 Just the one defeat away to title chasing Lille as we managed to breeze past Wolfsburg and set up a tie against Sporting in the Europa League Quarter Final!
Makoto Nakamura
April 2031 A perfect month with just the two goals conceded! We absolutely destroyed Sporting 10-0 on aggregate to set us up a semi final tie against Manchester United whilst we also make back-to-back Coupe de France finals where we'll face one of PSG or Marseille. In the league we've finally entered the European spots, but our last two games are away to Marseille and away to Caen, the teams that are either side of us. Could we also see an upset with Lille leading PSG with two games remaining?
Makoto Nakamura
No surprise in the Europa League Final, gutted to have the 118th minute penalty saved.
Makoto Nakamura
2030/31 End of Season Review Doubly bridesmaids this year with defeats in both the Europa League and the Coupe de France finals, triple bridesmaids if we include the Trophée des Champions at the start of the season! But what a whirlwind it was, we were in 16th after four games and with six games to go we were still right down in 9th, but we've come out as unlikely Champions League qualifiers right up in 4th place! (Although 9th would've seen us qualified for the Conference League this season!) Overall Best XI 2030/31 Best XI Ousmane Touré (YP2c) Benoît Maillot (YP1d) - Hugo Capblanne - Anthony Thibault (YP3m) Jean-Paul Kasongo (YP4c) - Armand Riviere (YP3a) - Fils-Whissy Ndong Bibang - Jacques-Édouard Chérubin (YP4b) Hiroya Ozeki (YP2e) - Mohamed Diop (YP3c) - Elias Labrousse (YP1c) Edited August 29 by Makoto Nakamura

Makoto Nakamura
2031/32 Pre-Season A mixed pre-season so I arranged a couple of easy matches for morale. Still favourites for relegation. That's all of the original squad gone now, yes Elijah, Hugo & Fils-Whissy were still playing but all of them had reached their potential so I got rid of them to allow the youngsters to come through. Yep, our oldest player is only 22 and Lucas has only ever made six first team appearances, our oldest first teamer is 14. Elias Labrousse (YP1c) who doesn't turn 23 until June! Makoto Nakamura
August 2031 A much better start than I anticipated! Hoping we can get some points from Genk, Beşiktaş & Casa Pia, can't see them coming elsewhere!
Makoto Nakamura
September 2031 A great month losing only to Monaco and we;ve managed six of the nine points I wanted from the group stage so far in the Champions League! We have our first France international!
Makoto Nakamura
October 2031 Another great month as we hit the heights of 2nd and already twelve points behind a rejuvenated PSG! And we pick up a point I wasn't expecting against Valencia in the Champions League!
Makoto Nakamura
November 2031 A mixed month but we're still really holding our own and still in a Champions League spot!
Makoto Nakamura
December 2031 An expected loss against Juventus and we're still right up in 2nd as we reach the halfway point of the league campaign! An excellent intake? We take those. Are we ready for some awards? There's a lot coming!
Makoto Nakamura
January 2032 Bordeaux legend. The youth did well away to Bourges & Nimes in the Coupe de France whilst the first team did what they needed to in the Champions League as even without the point at home to Atletico Madrid we've seen ourselves qualify for the playoffs although I don't fancy our chances against any of the teams.
Makoto Nakamura
February 2032 A busy February sees us through to face Nice in the Coupe de France Quarter Final as well as Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16! Still going well in the league also as we're still holding on to a Champions League spot!
Makoto Nakamura
2031/32 Youth Candidates Two 5* PA players and Ruben could be something very special!
Makoto Nakamura
March 2032 A shockingly emphatic win over Atletico Madrid sets us up against Arsenal in the Quarter Final! In the Coupe de France we're through to face Auxerre in the Semi Final which is a winnable tie as they're struggling at the bottom of the table and we give ourselves an eight point cushion in the hunt for Champions League football next season. Two players making the list again and they both play in the same position!
Makoto Nakamura
We've only gone and won the Youth League!
Makoto Nakamura
April 2032 We managed to scrape past Arsenal and into the Champions League Semi Final where we ended up with a good showing and just losing by the solitary goal...three days after facing PSG in the league, who we will now face again in the Coupe de France Final! Makoto Nakamura
We had quite a bit of luck go our way but we managed to beat PSG to win the Coupe de France!! Edited August 30 by Makoto Nakamura
Makoto Nakamura
3-0 down after just 36 minutes I thought we were doomed, but we fought back and made the result look a lot more acceptable, a great effort from everybody! Makoto Nakamura
2031/32 End of Season Review An amazing season by all accounts. I couldn't be much happier, we just need our defensive players to match the ability of our offensive ones! Next season will be even more difficult as we lose our best defender Camille Laplaud (YP3b) on a free to Marseille which I feel will make all the difference and a fall down the table. (This ended up being 39 after the Madrid game.) Overall Best XI 2031/32 Best XI Ousmane Touré (YP2c) Benoît Maillot (YP1d) - Camille Laplaud (YP3b) - Anthony Thibault (YP3m) Régis Nsiala (YP1e) - Armand Riviere (YP3a) - Ousmane Sy (YP5a) - Jean-Paul Kasongo (YP4c) Hiroya Ozeki (YP2e) - Mohamed Diop (YP3c) - Elias Labrousse (YP1c)
Makoto Nakamura
2032/33 Pre-Season Not the greatest of preparations for PSG. Not predicted last anymore! We lost Camille to carry on with our tradition of losing one key player per season then I added everybody who had 2* PA or less to the unwanted list which resulted in a couple of sales and a lot of released players.
Makoto Nakamura
August 2032 It's fine margins early on but it's certainly not our best showing just yet. I'm predicting a six point group stage.
Makoto Nakamura
September 2032 Well there's three of the points I was expecting, a perfect month other than the expected PSG result!
Makoto Nakamura
October 2032 Perfect in the league and we picked up a point at home to Dortmund, a great month overall!
Makoto Nakamura
November 2032 Another great four points in the Champions League and with us only dropping points to Lille in the league we've reached the dizzying heights of 1st place as we reach the half way point!
Makoto Nakamura
December 2032 Three unbeaten months in the league now but we lose the top spot to Lille with PSG hot on our tails as well whilst we manage a late surge of goals away to St. Johnstone to move us up to 10th! An excellent intake with three strikers potentially A rated?!
Makoto Nakamura
January 2033 Expected losses in both the league and the cup which sees us lose our place at the top of the table and in the Champions League one point means we fall right down to 20th, facing Arsenal in the next round. Makoto Nakamura
February 2033 We scraped past Arsenal! Now we face Bayern in the Round of 16 whilst we'll be facing one of Havre or Lens in the Semi Final of the Coupe de France. We were finally able to get a win again in the league but the slim title hopes are dashed now. Edited August 31 by Makoto Nakamura
Makoto Nakamura
2032/33 Youth Candidates A truly stellar intake! Nowadays 3.5* PA is a decent Ligue 1 player so we could have five or six first team players here!
Makoto Nakamura
March 2033 Just the one league game this month, a poor draw against struggling Saint-Etienne whilst a 96th minute goal sent us through to the Champions League Quarter Final where we'll face Newcastle! It's the first time I've had three players on this list!
sherwinriga
What an amazing set of promising players as well as impressive wonderkids that will about to take notice on both France and Europe! Also, a lot of French Cup titles being collected twice, which was super cool! I'm also surprised that they made it to both Europa League and Champions League Final in two straight years! This is definitely amazing to see Bordeaux back to the French top football league again! Hopefully, you'll be able to get the Ligue 1 title as long as you can keep producing them and I can't wait to see you leading them to a European silverware by winning the Champions League title for sure! By the way, can I check how Hiroya Ozeki doing? I love seeing him being one of the promising players in Japan, especially that he's bound for Samurai Blue Japan national football team! I would love to see his development that he had and hopefully, he'll be able to prove the ground that he'll become the next big thing in Japan. I'll be surprised if I want to know what the current J.League (J1, J2, J3) standings looked like and their champions (league, Levain Cup and Emperor's Cup), which I'll be thrilled on how they're doing since Ozeki being far as the most promising player so far. Great job and keep up the good work in Bordeaux!

Hiroya is only rated as a good Ligue 2 player so he's definitely performing far better than he should be, it's looking like he'll be the first striker to lose his place in the squad once the youth come through! And these are the three young Japanese strikers ahead of Hiroya in the pecking order for the NT:
