Preseason training

I'm by no means an expert on training but the first week back is to do with getting their endurance and general fitness up to a good level then the following 3/4/5 weeks of preseason is tactic familiarity and general fitness with preseason games. I don't normally have a game in the first week. As for the players moaning about quality of training I shouldn't worry about it because once the season starts they'll be more chipper.

Mix of tactical and fitness. And always on heaviest intensity possible for about a month. This way my players get used to the match load of domestic and continental and never complain about being tired. A barely ever see jaded players.
