When your a top 3 prem side a 3 star player will be a top international. Your 4 and 5 star players are your Messi and Ronaldo type regens. I had a 3 star pot youth who ended up a 4nfalf star winger.i had a striker who wasn't great star rating wise and star of a season he would be 2 n half stars but he scored for fun. When I did auto pick the ass man wouldn't even bench him some weeks. However he would go from a decent premium player to a leading prem player and end up with 4 stars half way through season.
