ocimpean
What are, in your opinion, the best 5 strikers in FM09, whatever the price. Not potential talented youngsters. Someone you can sign in the first season and really score.

joao_colha
Probably Bojan, Aguero, Balotelli, Pato and Rossi if talking about the young ones. However, the best player I've had so far in FM09 has been Del Piero without a doubt, what a legend. Can cross (17), can finish (18), great at free kicks and penalties (20), passing is a wonder (18), and what about technique (19), dribbling (17) and first touch (18). In 19 matches he has 18 goals and 9 assists for me. I know he declines quickly as he is quite old, but could you ask for a better forward in yur first season? ocimpean
I will Check Del Piero, thanks. Also, nobody rated Ibrahimovich, Villa, Tores, Drogba , I mean the heavy hitters. Are they underperforming in FM09?
joao_colha
No but those are so expensive most of the teams we play can't afford them, even though they are the cream of the crop.
ocimpean
So if I can afford only one of them, which one you recommend?

Kawee
IMHO, not taking price into account, Torres, Ibrahimovic, and Adebayor are the best ones. The likes of Aguero and Pato, etc will develop into better players than Adebayor, but they won't be better than Torres and Ibrahimovic. The advantage Adebayor has is that he's very all-rounded. Beastly physique, decent finishing, good in the air, and still some room for improvement. Plus, he cna be used right off the bat without having to develop first.
