End of season review (2027-28 season)

We finished 15th in Serie A with Monza after getting 38 points from 38 games. I am really pleased as we have avoided relegation comfortably. AS Roma won the Coppa Italia in the final against Bologna. This is how the players performed this season. The top three players are Andrea Colpani who basically controlled the midfield. He got 1 goal and 6 assists in 38 appearances. Mikolaj Bieganski is the second player who did well, after Dominik Greif left, he has been a steady presence in the goalkeeping department. Dany Mota is the third player who did well after he scored 11 goals and got 4 assists in 30 starts and 2 sub appearances.

The summer transfer window has opened in the 2028-29 season. 2 arrivals and 2 departures have happened so far.

We completed two permanent deals after players came in on loan. Alexandro Bernabei has joined Monza from VfB Stuttgart in Germany for 2.2 million pounds. Luan Patrick joined the club from Flamengo in Brazil for 6.25 million pounds.

Frank Tsadjout went to Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia for 12 million pounds. Dany Mota went to Middlesbrough in England for 15.25 million pounds.

We are slowly but surely reshaping the squad in our image.

There have been a number of incomings and outgoings in the 2028-29 summer transfer window. Nahuel Estevez joined Monza on a free transfer. Matt Turner joined Monza on a free transfer. Leandro Sanca joined the club from Palermo for 6.5 million pounds. Clint Deguara joined Monza on loan from AC Milan. All these signings are pretty solid and will provide that experience that is needed for the team to do well.

Now about the outgoings. Pedro Lima went on loan to Ascoli. Andrea Colpani went to Lille in France for 33 million pounds. Jozsef Szegedi went to Parma for 67k pounds. Many key players have departed from last season, but we are building a squad to compete this season.

Also Sweden won Euro 2028 on the save after beating Scotland in the final.

For some advice, I think you make similar mistakes in the transfer market. Far too many incoming and by doing so you are spreading the quality you can bring in. Less is more. Focus on 2/3/4 quality signings and maybe one or two younger players for back-up each season.

It depends really. I do agree with you. However I am also opportunistic in the transfer market and I look to provide marginal gains to my team.
