Sahaj Oberoi Posted Tuesday at 11:37 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 11:37 End of season review (2027-28 season) We finished 15th in Serie A with Monza after getting 38 points from 38 games. I am really pleased as we have avoided relegation comfortably. AS Roma won the Coppa Italia in the final against Bologna. This is how the players performed this season. The top three players are Andrea Colpani who basically controlled the midfield. He got 1 goal and 6 assists in 38 appearances. Mikolaj Bieganski is the second player who did well, after Dominik Greif left, he has been a steady presence in the goalkeeping department. Dany Mota is the third player who did well after he scored 11 goals and got 4 assists in 30 starts and 2 sub appearances.

Nahuel Estevez joined Monza on a free transfer. Matt Turner joined Monza on a free transfer. Leandro Sanca joined the club from Palermo for 6.5 million pounds. Skora11 Posted Thursday at 10:08 Share Posted Thursday at 10:08 For some advice, I think you make similar mistakes in the transfer market. Far too many incoming and by doing so you are spreading the quality you can bring in. Less is more. Focus on 2/3/4 quality signings and maybe one or two younger players for back-up each season.

It depends really. I do agree with you. However I am also opportunistic in the transfer market and I look to provide marginal gains to my team. Sahaj Oberoi
The dreaded board meeting has happened and I have resigned as Monza manager after just over a year in charge. We were not doing badly to be fair. We were in 13th place after getting 19 points from 18 games. So we were in a better league position than how we were doing previously and we were quite steady. I would have stayed up in Serie A if we continued on the same pace or done slightly better and we were on track to survive the drop comfortably. But the board thought it was time for a conversation. So I decided to leave the club.
Sahaj Oberoi
I now have a new job after leaving Monza. After a little over 4 months, I am now the new manager of Getafe in La Liga. We are 19th in the league with 21 points in 34 games. I have 4 games to save Getafe from relegation and I will be in Big Sam Allardyce mode now. This is the biggest challenge I have faced as a manager on this save and I hope I do well. This is what the squad looks like.
