Low number of loans

Hey guys, i'm playing a day-by-day save in the italian Serie D. When there is nothing to do i like to see the world evolve cause i literally have every nation loaded and playable(surely there's a few low level divisions not loaded but not something worth exploring anyway).

While peeping over Serie A teams, i noticed how little loans they had. Like each team had 3-4 players loaned.

Created a filter to have the exact information and i got this:

72 players loaned(so an average of 3.6 player loaned per team).

Divided by age:

• <=25 y/o: 65
• <=21 y/o: 44
• <=18 y/o: 28
• <=17 y/o: 13
• <=16 y/o: 0

Loaned to:

• Serie A: 6(22 to 27 y/o)
• Serie B: 5(21 to 26 y/o)
• Serie C: 5(U20)
• Serie D: 20(17 to 19 y/o)
• Eccellenza: 0(not loaded)

Just to get an Idea, IRL Inter has 17 players loaned this season. In the game, they have 4. I then check the IRL loaned players just to see if maybe the contract expired or something but that's not the case:

Zinho Vanheusden - Inter
Filip Stankovic - Sampdoria(not a loan)
Francesco Pio Esposito - Inter U20

Eddie Salcedo - San Gallo(not a loan)

Enoch Owusu - Inter U20
Amadou Sarr - Juve Stabia(not a loan)

This actually ruins immersion. I see Serie D teams with just enough players to survive and those are not even at level when there are a lot of Under 18 players waiting for game time for free

You should post this in the bug tracker, so that an SI dev can take a look at the issue: https://community.sports-interactive.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2024-early-access-bugs-tracker/transfers-scouting-contracts-and-agentsintermediaries/

It would probably be good to upload a savegame from before the transfer window closes (maybe one at the very beginning of the transfer window) and maybe one after it closes, if you have those in your savegames folder

Something wrong with your save. In mine (three months in to the 23/24 season) Inter have 40 u20 players loaned out; 

Edit: Unless you mean some years in the future. I don't have a save to check.

The first year Inter had that kind of loans IRL. the AI didn't make them.

This is an year in the future(day by day save, you know... 15th of october 2024), where the ai took over the transfers.

Sorry - that had passed me by.

I guess it's just the standard limitations of the AI... unrealistic club management, poor transfers (and loans), signing players and not using them, etc, etc. Annoying!
