[FM24] Triple Threat - Gibraltar, San Marino and Andorra Youth Only!

Triple Threat

I've had this idea for a while now, and with FM25 being delayed for some time, I guess it's a good as time as any to do it!

 

1. I will be managing three teams at the same time. I have never done this before, so this might be absolutely horrible. At the same time I will be doing this youth only style. The main goal is of course to win all there is to win, and to develop players for their respective national teams as we progress.

 

2. Three different managers, with exactly the same stats when we start the game. Looks and clothes randomized. Just to make this more difficult to remember, every manager is born in one of the other countries. Mr. Andorra is born in San Marino for example

 

3. Three different leagues means three different starting points. Gibraltar start the league around mid September, and it goes to mid April. San Marino start early July, and it lasts to mid May. Andorra start mid August, and it lasts to late March. I can say for certain that this will be an absolute mess to keep up with, and in advance, I am sorry!

The updates will be at the end of every month. At least that is my goal.

 

4. The three teams that I have picked are the teams that is predicted to finish bottom of the leagues when I started this save. More info about them in the next post.

 

5. I have picked three different tactics that I have downloaded, as I don't want to tinker a lot with these teams. The three tactics picked will be the same throughout the save.

A perfect month in Gibraltar! If we can keep this up, we're in for a spot in Europe.

We're bleeding money though, and the whole squad has contracts that expires at the end of this season, and every single one refuses to sign a new contract. Youth player will have to do next season I guess.

 

And on the topic of players, I just realised that I forgot to post a picture of the squads for the teams.

One win and one defeat this month. We're hanging on to the last spot to qualify for European football.

 

Same goes for this club. Basically all of these players will be leaving at the end of the season. And to be honest, it's not that bad as not a single one of them is from San Marino.

Only two games this month. We got knocked out of the Rock Cup very quick, as we faced the best team in Gibraltar. Lincoln has won the league 14 times in the last 16 years.

Of course we had to lose 1-5 against the only team in the league that had not won a single game... We could still win the league, but we face Lincoln in the last game of the season.

Immediate impact from the new players! They scored all three goals in their first game, against Domagnano. Still a possibility for top three!

We actually climbed all the way up to first, and won both the league and got promoted! Managed to sign a new contract with some of the players as well.

We still have the Cup Final against Santa Coloma left to play.

I did not realise there would be a "Championship Group" after normal league. Still struggling with Lincoln though, and they beat us twice this month.

A slightly disappointing end to the season, as we were top of the league for a long time. But, we still managed to secure a place in the Conference League!

I asked for youth recruitment and coaching upgrade here as well, but it did not help.

A pretty good month, even though we lost one game. Turns out Toby Love (YP02a) can't make his debut for another 9 months, as he has to be 16 years old to play in the league!

Another bad month in Gibraltar. We managed to get to the Cup Final, but of course we lost that game. We're also way behind in the league table. Another season without European football. That is too bad, as College 75 is the only team that I am managing that is struggling financially.

Good start in the league. Slightly annoyed with the Juvenes Dogana game, but quite a few players were tired from European football.

 

Champions League

Our first taste of Champions League was a good one! The New Saints from Wales proved no problem.

For the next round we traveled to Scotland and faced Rangers. And got our ass handed to us At least we scored a goal in both games.

That means we got knocked out out the CL, but get a shot at the Europa League. There we will be playing HŠK Zrinjski Mostar from Bosnia & Herzegovina.

The team we were drawn against in Andorra was slightly tougher, as we faced FK RFS from Latvia. But to my surprise we had no problems with them.

Next up, Dinamo Zagreb from Croatia. Of course they beat us, but 1-6 on aggregate is not too horrible.

We got Pyunik Yerevan from Armenia in the Europe League qualifying.

Still 14 days from league start, but at least we have done well in the friendlies.

We won the Super Coppa first try, and that is great! In the league we lost two games, very annoying.

 

Europa League/Conference League

We might have won the first game against Zrinjski, but that was pure luck, as they were all over us.

The second game was almost the same stat-wise, but now they really showed us.

 

After getting knocked out of EL Qualifying, we got a chance at the Conference League qualifying.

There we faced RFS, the team that we knocked out with Ranger's Fútbol Club!

We actually managed to win 5-4 on aggregate, that means we go in to the Conference League Group Stage on the first try

 

On paper, the run of games is easier than what we get for our Andorran team.

And speaking of the "Andorran" team, that is who we will be facing in the last game of the group stage! The first meeting, and I am really looking forward to it!

 

And the money is put to good use right away!

I thought we would be the first team in San Marino to turn pro, but Cosmos already did so going in to this season.

A perfect start to the league season!

 

Europa League/Conference League

A 0-3 defeat in the first game against Pyunik, and I really thought we were knocked out at that time, but we had an amazing second game, and ended up winning 5-4 on aggregate!

Next up, Partizan. And They proved to tough, so in to the Conference League we go!

 

And as I said earlier, this looks a bit tougher than for the Sammarinese club.

 

Same goes for the money we get here.

I wanted to say that we would be the first Pro club in Andorra, but it turn out that Fútbol Club Santa Coloma turned pro in 2025
