I have recently bought a new laptop and the match engine will not stop juddering and stuttering.

I have followed the steps advised by sega but have seen no improvement. Just wondering if anyone has any tips at all or encountered similar.

GPU is an RTX 4070 and CPU is Intel core i9 of that helps at all....I don't know alot about laptops to be honest. Looks like may have to go back to 2D engine but seems a little ridiculous having just spent 2k on a laptop.

I only have an RTX 2060 in my laptop but was having the same issue. I set the Max Framerate to 60 FPS in the Control Panel as was suggested by @Smurf in this thread and it worked for me. You can try that and/or cap the refresh rate to see if that helps.

What is your default screen resolution? 1080 1440 2160 4k? You have to note that a laptop GPU is NOT the same as the equivalent desktop GPU, I am running a VEGA64 at 4k and the game engine runs just fine the card runs anywhere between 40-50% so plenty left in it. The rest of the system is modest 5600+ on a ProArt mobo and 32Gb ram. a 4070 is about 150% better than mine, think I would take it back and get something else??? Surface Pro? mind you my Surface Pro 6 hates FM24 it stutters just like yours does
