NZB Posted Monday at 23:28 Share Posted Monday at 23:28 In terms of gate receipts, the only way of tracing the cash flow is via the monthly or annual total but there is no way of knowing precisely for a given match how much it has generated and especially what the home/away team split is. I manage a small club in Malaysia with very low home attendance and low ticket prices, which generates limited gate receipts (around 20K per month). My understanding is that by default we get the money from home matches, which can be roughly estimated by calculating nb of spectators x average price of a ticket for each match. I know there are also few cases where the income is divided between the 2 teams (cup final on neutral pitch). But suddenly in the Asian Confederation Cup, I am playing away in Australia, where attendance is 26,000 spectators and ticket prices are much higher, and I find myself receiving over 300K in a single match... How is it possible that I am receiving income for an away match? I've looked at the official rules of the competition online and it says the income goes entirely to the home team. Thank you in advance.
Uncle Adi Posted Tuesday at 10:07 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:07 (edited) Is it not competition prize money? Idk about ACC but in the ECL you get prize money for each match and it differs depending on if you win, lose or draw. NZB Posted Tuesday at 21:23 Author Share Posted Tuesday at 21:23 No these are flagged in the finances section (income tab) as gate receipts.
