djpdavey Posted Wednesday at 08:15 Share Posted Wednesday at 08:15 In my current save I am in the National League, yet I seem to have the same amount if not more press conferences than Liverpool/Man United in real life. I also get BBC radio five live in my conferences which is silly to me. They wouldn't give a crap who my team is. I do every press conference because I don't know how much of a difference it makes to how the team plays. I don't want my assistant manager saying something stupid that derails a team performance. Is this a thing? Also on previous saves where I would skip all of them my manager profile would show I didn't handle media well. Should I care less and skip? I hate the press conferences. I feel all the needed information on this game is in the forum and not at hand in the game.
H_a_a_k_o_n Posted Wednesday at 09:15 Share Posted Wednesday at 09:15 You don't miss out much if you let your assistant do them. Most people do, methinks. But I actually do them all. With them you can get some morale boost, and you also could get some leads on players to scout if you play by restricted rules.
fc.cadoni Posted Wednesday at 11:26 Share Posted Wednesday at 11:26 Here my approach for Press Conferences, which is another tool to get some morale boost. Tired of Assistant Manager or other background staff mention in Press Conferences about players sales or resting, which trigger the chaos out of nowhere. Uncle Adi Posted Wednesday at 11:34 Share Posted Wednesday at 11:34 I started off doing them all but quickly decided that life's too short and any potential benefit isn't worth it so I passed it over to the AM.
