Problem - Full detail leagues unable to store basic match details for more than a few weeks of game time

I've run into the issue of the Match Storage Space limit (300MB) preventing me seeing match details across the leagues for the vast majority of games at the end of the season. I was hoping to keep an annual archiving save to preserve season details in addition to the main save. In testing prior to starting a long term save, I'm running with a modest 11 leagues on full detail.

I'd like to be able to at least look back at the end of the season and see standard stats from games in my selected leagues like possession, shots etc. at the team level, but as it stands at season end I only have access to score, scorers and times of goals for the vast majority of games.

Am I doing something wrong in preferences or is there possibly a way to increase the match storage space limit in FM24? I've seen this asked before in relation to older versions of FM but without any resolution. Thought it worth asking before I start my save in case there is a solution someone knows.. SSD storage space is not an issue for me.
