PaintNothing
Into my third season with my team and over the last 2 1/2 years I have won the Premier League twice, the FA Cup, The Europa League, The Super Cup, the Carabao Cup and in January I am yet to be knocked out of any competition. Over that time I had accumulated a tranfer kitty of £200m and was approx £200k under my wage budget, yet the board have now claimed that due to a worse financial performance than planned that my war chest has been reduced to zero and my wage budget reduced to the amount it was at (I had negotiated a wage increase for 1 player in that time so now I'm overspending on my wage budget). I've had similar when I've been with other teams and not been as successful, but this seems incredibly drastic and having just signed a new 5 year contract ruined my plans to refresh the squad, and am now being forced to sell to buy. Damedius Posted Friday at 01:34 Share Posted Friday at 01:34 (edited) What is your financial situation? Is the team in the red or do you have a few hundred million? Edited Friday at 14:15 by Damedius spelling

We were about £3m in the red, but given sponsorship deals etc I would have expected the end of the year to be healthy. 6 months later and some sales and I've now accumulated a transfer fund of £300m and a monster wage bill, so not sure why I had such a drastic reduction
