Transfer values super inflated all the sudden (in 2039)

So, in a save that I took from FM23 to FM24, I've just noticed that transfer values have all of the sudden (in 2039) taken an insane jump out of nowhere. 

A few examples... a 23 year old striker that I (a usual top 4-6 La Liga team) sold last season to a top tier Brasilian club for 15 million plus 2 in incentives is now worth 36-55 million despite playing 15 games for them since the sale, with 2 goals and a 6.59 rating.  Best I could negotiate them to (just out of curiosity) was 43 million.

Another guy, a 28 year old DM for Real Sociedad has been sold 5 times already in his career between Club Brugge, Benfica, and a couple Bundesliga and La Liga clubs.  All sales have been between 4 and 6 million.  Now his value is between 35 and 42, but if you negotiate him Real Sociedad won't take anything less than 84 million plus 12 in bonuses.   Since Real Sociedad bought him for 4.6 he has played 41 league leagues in 1.5 seasons with a rating of about 6.9 

A 26 year old keeper I sold to Liverpool for 150k plus 50% profit on next sale is going on his 4th season of not playing a single league game for Liverpool (and I don't think any cup games even).  In his career he has played 2 La Liga games and 2 Norwegian top flight games.  The rest of his career league appearances have only been in La Liga 2 and Norway's 2nd tier.  He is on a 2.67 million a year salary, even a club as rich as Liverpool would take almost any offer for a 3rd choice keeper on that kind of wage, no?  But here they won't take less than 5 million for him.  His contract expires in ~20 months.  

A now 30 year old midfielder I sold to a smaller Serie A team 3.5 seasons ago for 9 million is now commanding 50 million.  He has been good over the last few years, but nothing special to command such an increase as he turns 30. 

I realize there are a lot of factors that go into sales, including if a team wants to sell a guy or not.  I wouldn't think twice if it was an isolated case or two, but this is almost any player in the whole save.

I'm in Oct 2039 now, I've been playing this save forever and this increase has I think just happened now over the past year, and to dozens and dozens of players.  If I go back to May 39 or July 38 and look at the same players as above their values are still inflated but are about half of what they are in Oct 39.

Has anyone seen anything similar about transfer values just going insane out of nowhere at one point deep into a save?
